Is this Yea Forums or Yea Forums?
Aggretsuko
Yea Forums
Both
Yea Forums
But I think it's wasted on Yea Forums. So, I hope it stays here for a bit.
Yes
Way better than Tuca and Bertie. But Tuca and Bertie is kinda what you need after Bojack.
Yea Forums. Japanese studio and the top of the poster even says anime.
There were also actually 100 one-minute episodes that aired on Japanese television before Netflix picked it up as a web series.
It's Yea Forums, but Yea Forums wants nothing to do with it. Honestly, I felt season 2 was just a step back from season 1.
Season 2 did fewer things that season 1, but it did them well.
I felt like it was a step-up. Season one is split into two arcs. The first arc ends with nothing gained or lost and the second is a lot smaller and has less breathing room. Whereas the second season gives both new arcs equal time and starts the build-up for the second arc in the first episode. So, the character arcs, and ideas being pushed, have more development in the second season. Thanks to this better management.
The character development stuff in 2 was fantastic. Like you said, there was less happening but more focus on the characters themselves.
>Yea Forums wants nothing to do with it.
Yea Forums can't relate to an adult that has a job and social life
Yea Forums doesn't like Sanrio shit.
Oh so the dozens of threads that have reached the bump limit while staying on-topic didn't exist, good to know.
The reason why some people on Yea Forums didn't like it is because furries and netflix.
tadano is my husbando
Even if they could, Aggretsuko is kind of low-key socialist. I think that'd be too much for them.
>low-key socialist
She's, what now?
>see Aggretsuko drink at the gas station
>excitedly buy it
>massively obese lady at register asks me what "all those candies with the bear thing on them" are about
>tell her it's a great show on Netflix
>mfw she immediately drops the subject and complains that she's having gas pains
So whatcha gonna doo~?
Being low-key, there's nothing concrete. But, when I see Retsuko being friends with Gori and Washimi, it gives the sense that the show is possibly hinting at a workplace democracy. Especially when they help her with Ton.
Then there's Tadano's ambition to kill late-stage capitalism. He's never said to be wrong. Instead, Retsuko simply finds another path. Her own path. There's more criticisms of capitalism and corporatism than there is advocating for Socialism. But I feel as though there's just little glimpses of it.
Do you guys ship it?
Tadano did nothing wrong and Retsuko was too quick to dump him.
will Gori and Washimi reconcile completely next season?
No. Even though they both want the same thing. Retsuko is trying to find her praxis. Bojack is trying to find menial things that help him fill the void. They would be bad for each other.
Tadano was an anarcho-technocrat and Retsuko ultimately didn't believe in what he believed in. So, nobody did anything wrong. They just weren't meant for each other.
