If old/young is your fetish, I ain't gonna judge. What I am going to say is that Batman is unlikely to fuck the daughter of one of his best friends/ex of one (several?) of his sons, given the considerable choice he has outside of proto Oracle. Who knows, if it tickles your fancy, even if they don't get together maybe the bat family has crazy swinger nights, and your fetish is satisfied anyway.

Because nobody on Yea Forums ever bothers to remember that Timm himself admits that the relationship is doomed from the start. He repeatedly says that it's kind of a fucked up, shitty pairing that makes both Bruce and Barbara look bad, and that he knew that when he first did it back during TNBA.
Bruce/Barbara is supposed to be part of the long fall of DCAU Bruce, part of the journey that takes him from having a thriving Batfamily and tons of friends in the Justice League to him sitting alone in his dark mansion at the start of Batman Beyond. Yea Forums is just extra autistic about this pairing so they forget about all of that.
