This show sucks. Season 2 is going to be completely original since every single episode in Season 1 basically covered almost the entirety of Hilda's book line.

Since they have now run out of source material to use under a season's worth of time they'll have to do things that are foreign to this series like I dunno how about introducing an actual antagonist

Hilda has always worked very close with the original author. The next season will incorporate parts of the new book that hasn't been finished.

Imagine you got in a fight with your friend. You think you'll make up, but your friend is so ass blasted they just go ahead and make new friends.

Frida does get some peer pressure to do "magic" but that's it. In the end she realizes the Hilda is a real one, and her friends were some fake bitches.

Because kids can be jerks and bitches and it’s the easiest way to write conflict.
