No, it's just speculating on what could happen in a reboot.
However, years ago the studio that made Atomic Betty planned to make a sequel called Atomic Betty Redux with a 17-year old Atomic Betty, but it entered development hell and was eventually cancelled. Shame, really. Might have gotten some nice fanart out of it at least.

Didn't watch New-Ra simply because it didn't look appealing, so no idea what you're talking about. Betty would be super easy to make. The sci-fi/adventure genres in space on different worlds is card blanche for the writers. Anomalies, wacky worlds and societies, scare space monsters, thousands of stories to parody, pay tribute to or rip-off. As long as they make the visuals good and make Betty look sexy, there's no way they'll fail.

It's awful for a reboot. It doesn't have an established fanbase that's going to tune in, but is guaranteed bad rp from the start because of how reboots are generally perceived. It also doesn't have a setting or characters interesting enough to play with and alter.
There is no benefit to rebooting it instead of just making an original show.
