Holy shit. I just finished the series. Never in my life has a series finale exceeded my expectations. This is unironically my number 1 favorite show of all time

Mark Hamill was a shit choice for Ozai, he's fine when he's quiet and stoic but then turns into the Joker when he has to yell.

Cool

Good, a few tips:
>You’re done with Avatar, don’t watch Korra or read the comics
>If you liked the girls and want something sexy, check out Four Elements Trainer for a good time
>NEVER fall for WITCHfag’s tricks
>Try a few anime from different decades but don’t feel pressured if you don’t like it

Uhhhh you know what I enjoyed the most out of TLA ? they managed to do Japanese drama properly. It wasn't immature and caveman-tier like the Japanese always do.

I could genuinely give a fuck and feel together with Zuko and Aang's depression.

Watch more anime

How about no?
Imagine if in Harry Potter Voldemort tripped and accidentally broke the Elder Wand.

I mentally can't. It's too fucking immature. It feels like a bunch of whiny 3-14 year olds who don't know what they want, don't know how to express it, and only bitch about dumb shit.

Aang losing his flying bison felt genuine
Zuko's backstory and inner turmoil felt genuine.

Anime is like a bunch of Australians and Brazilians yelling hue hue oi faggot le emotional scene. Them and the Canadians, most pathetic assholes on Earth.

I think you’re just racist. Which is fine, I’m kinda racist too, but it’s a real shame you are underselling anime/overselling Avatar and the pursuit of “maturity” because of your biases.

Imagine watching harry potter

Fullmetal alchemist is what I've more than once heard to be adressed as anime equivalent of Avatar. There are 2 series: first is Fullmetal Alchemist and second Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The first series follows original manga source up to a point and then it deviates. The second series follows the manga closely and should preferably be watched after the first series.

Congrats on making it to the first step of watching cartoons
Way more out there that will show you how overrated Avatar is

Great normie taste, OP. But the one and only cartoon that's better than Avatar is W.I.T.C.H. - very similar story but with much better writing.

BTAS, STAS, Batman Beyond and Justice League are better than Avatar.

No, user.
Teen Titans and The Batman wipe the floor with the entire DCAU - and even they aren't quite as good as Avatar (though TT comes very close).

Not him but FMA has the whiny kid problem with it's villains. That the major antagonists are abominations from beyond reality but ultimately turn out to be crybabies with daddy issues is immensely disappointing

Like.. how is this a bad thing?
seaturtles aren't something weird in this universe. And Energybending is a thing. He explained it. Benders do not bend the elements but the energy within! I think it's a great ending with all it's parts

>deserves
There are so many issues with avatar its obscene and excusing the atrocious finale doesn't make any of them go away.
>how is that a bad thing
The entire premise of the show is that a pacifist coward monk has to make up for his failure and kill a king to end a war that is his fault. This is reinforced several times throught the show but especially in the episodes leading up to the finale. Aang constantly dealing with what he is going to have to do and then given an out at literally the last second deflates all purpose and tension. We ALWAYS knew Aang was going to win, but the win meant him killing someone, that was where the tension was. That moment where he is holding Ozai's lightning and is about to do it was the entire point of the fight, to see Aang finally do the mans work he should have been doing 100 years ago.
