when have ANY of the other three done anything as bad as cartman? cartman fed a kid his own parents because the kid pissed him off. cartman has driven people to suicide before. he literally gave kyle an incurable disease because kyle laughed at him. he caused like three plane crashes in a day because he was afraid of angry black people. he shot his own classmate for no reason in that same episode. he used cthulhu to kill a shitton of people. he tried to exterminate the jews. he fucked with his girlfriend's mind so hard she turned into a horrible person. he harassed ginger kids and then when he was made to think he was a ginger, he tried to exterminate everybody who WASN'T ginger. he also tried to actually shoot kyle and the head of the fox network and would have done so if the gun had actually been loaded. there is more that isn't coming to mind right now.

by contrast, literally what have stan, kyle, and kenny done that compares to ANY of that?

Kyle has extreme patience because his father has extreme patience, while Cartman has no father so he acts like a bitch / attention whore.
There really isn't any reason for Kyle to hang out with Cartman. Cartman is just abusing Kyle's extreme patience.
Cartman has always been portrayed as a piece of shit, but finds a way to detract from it by making other people seem worse than him.
