in the movie her martial skills and powerset would have been a good go up against Thanos, and it literally took Odin to keep her in check. Hell, going by what she did in the movie when she wasn't even close to full power, fully powered with the armies of asgard at her back, she probably would have ended up devastating his forces.

Hela vs regular Thanos she could most likely beat him. Thanos with any of the gems is iffier.

Heimdall could activate a bifrost as well, while near death. Odin is implied to have opened one remotely in the first Thor (when the giant goes to attack him, he raises his spear and it turns on, and I don't think you see Heimdall in the following scene where he casts Thor out).

I wouldn't deny that Stormbreaker was a step up for Thor, but "activating a Bifrost" isn't the metric to use. Shit, Hela literally forced her way into a bifrost and then booted Loki and Thor out of it.
