Will there be any logic behind nobody using the iron man suits any more other than maybe War Machine? (Who’s suit is outdated as shit)
Will there be any logic behind nobody using the iron man suits any more other than maybe War Machine...
something something expensive, something something crime, something something muh Tony
Sokovia Accords could put a restriction on strictly AI operated suits like the Iron Legion after what happened with Ultron
The sokovia accords were scrapped after the snap
I want a Rescue movie with Pepper.
Is this a stealth MCU Riri petition, OP?
Some of the rules were loosened and Cap's team weren't wanted criminals anymore, but having rules in place is just a good idea
Or, should I say,
BRIAN
I always like the little comments people make saying Tony made some stuff/a suit as a thank you gift to Nebula for helping him as much as she could
How about the fact that the guy that makes them is dead? I doubt that he keeps a big backlog of suits still, and nobody else really knows to perfectly reverse engineer his stuff. There's probably a crowd of people that know how to maintain his suits (Banner, maybe Rhodes to some degree) but constructing the suits, particularly the arc reactor, is way out of anyone's league
Asked in another thread but no one replied, what suit is Tony wearing when he suffers the anxiety attack in Iron Man 3?
The Mark 7.
Its a shame the house party crew was destroyed at the end of 3, it'd be interesting to see what'd happen if anyone of those specialized suits fell into someone else's hands. I think the IM suits are more interesting when controlled by someone who isn't inherently knowledgable on how it works and how to build one themselves. The pre-46 suits seemed to be more Plug-and-Play where anyone could use them, the newer suits are more tied to nanotech and were probably kept to Tony's use. Anything from the Mk43 onward might still be out there, though.
Aren't the Iron Legion suits only usable by Tony?
Tony made 30 something Iron Man suits in between IW and Endgame so unless Pepper or someone else destroyed all of that because Tony asked for it in the event he died then they're definitely still out there somewhere.
Thank you.
Based Starboost
Norman couls show up as Iron Patriot way before using a goblin suit
I doubt we get to see Rescue or War Machine ever again
Hulkbuster will keep showing up from time to time when they need a heavy hitter
the probability of them using Rir or turning the IM· kid in Iron Lad is always high
Don Cheadle is cheap as shit, I bet they do use war machine again. It’s an easy character to slot in because he’s both a close friend of dead Tony, an avenger, and a representative of the military
A shame how the Silver Centurion did jack shit in the MCU
Because they're expensive as fuck, and the other Avengers are just fine on their own without them.
Tony's an egotist who doesn't trust anyone

Tony only wears the suit because he's the only one without enough understanding to fully utilize them. It's not that he won't, it's that it's pointless, and giving it to soldiers or civvies to do light work is already done by drones or a terrible fucking idea because betrayal/accidents.
Pepper used one and Rhodey could just straight up use the Mk II.
Time for Justin Hammer to make his return!
And look, he has his own Peter!
Neither of which should have been inducted into the battle, frankly.
>>Falcon in an Iron Man suit.
>>...k I'll give you this one.
The war Machine suit didn't fly so good compared to his.
Pepper was pointless since she's an old hag but Rhodey has seniority. He's an actual pilot, he can work his way around a piece of tech.
The point being it's more versatile.
But his is more specialized.
Look where it got him, though, a broken back. He might be a great soldier, but he can't keep up with the others.
The first line of iron man suits could go over mach speeds... I doubt Falcon's winged backpack can do that.
>can't hover
>can't go over mach
>weapons/toolkit which is inferior
What good is versatile when you don't have a working dick? I'm sure Sam was totally wishing he had Rhodey's cool suit when he got to fly away safely as War Machine shattered his spine in that death trap.
If he wasn't wearing the suit he would have been cut in half.
>Look where it got him, though, a broken back. He might be a great soldier, but he can't keep up with the others.
My dude, Hawkeye and Mantis were in there too. Countless Wakandan soldiers came back from death just to die seconds later on the first charge. Rhodey was in a better position than like 40% of the people in that charge.
Hawkeye can keep up, though. He's on Warmachine's level WITHOUT a suit.
>Hawkeye attacks Shield flying fortress.
>Just about sinks it.
>War machine attacks flying fortress.
I'm betting he'd die horribly.
>People forget that Hawkeye, despite using a joke gimmick, could straight up merc half the Avenger's roster without breaking a sweat.
Hawkeye is basically Batman-with-arrows who make witty remarks.
