>How does this work?

>It works like a community toy chest. In the /coc/ threads you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want, but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
>There's no guarantee that what you post will catch on either.

>If the OC you are posting is YOURS for something you are personally doing, then it would go to the "How is your webcomic?" threads.
>If you just want feedback on an OC of yours, then it would go in the "donut steel" threads or drawthreads.

In other news, Let's Make a Comic! #11 (the finale of volume 2)

Attached: 1561943216416.png (1735x2455, 437K)

Slow start this week. I guess everyone's still waking up.

Wow, really slow start.

The board is too busy complaining about blacks existing.

No aco thread for people to jump over from
not sure theres much for people to be caught up on that had been worked on during the week

From last week the Iron Girl intro comic may or may not be getting some tweaks, don't know yet so I haven't posted the current finished versions.

I know someone also expressed interest in drawing the BIGRAC script, so we'll see if anything happens with that.

convention season in high gear.
holiday weekend.
>board is too busy complaining about blacks existing.
that's a good thing. those are not users that contribute regularly to these threads in the first place.

>Not Iron Maiden.
Shame!

It's thematic counterpart naming. Golden Guardian vs. Iron Assailant.

Had a really dumb idea the other day about a Frankenstein/horror themed character. Not interesting enough to be a protagonist but maybe a supporting member in a hero/villain team. They died in some manner and were resurrected via electricity ala Frankenstein's monster, but it's not permanent, so they need a new "jump" when they lose their charge. On the plus side, the excess electricity makes for good lightning and speed powers.

I pictured the character being a woman, but instead of the obvious route of it being a goth girl, it's a more bubbly, positive woman who's out of her element having such a horror-leaning backstory.

Please excuse my terrible drawing skills.

Attached: Deadbolt.png (3200x3200, 2.5M)

So using her electric charge for offense/defense causes her to become dead again?

I DUB THEE FRANCINE.

Eventually. She starts off with a good amount of excess electricity, but it wears down. Throwing lightning at people won't instantly kill her or anything, but once she's running on fumes again, she's in trouble.

Isn't this kinda Six Feet Thunder's deal?

Attached: 1361920767738.jpg (797x1435, 408K)

Sounds like she's the result of some mad scientist who felt bad his security killed a kid and brought her back to life.
The electrical powers being an unintended side-effect.

I fucking love this design. I hope the person who made this is in the industry now, because it's simple, clean, immediately recognizable, and even practical. You could cosplay this!

Yeah, the electrical powers are more of a perk due to the science not being exact and the jumpstart pumping excess voltage into her body.

I hadn't heard of him. If so, disregard her. It was just a goofy idea I had.

Is this a good design for a villain that lost his mind because he couldn't kill the hero that caused his family to die?

Attached: The Prophet.png (1176x1599, 313K)

As far as I know he never runs out of charge and has largely lost his mind.

Does he have layers of masks?

Well bump.

Other than hanging out on the thread, how are you guys doing today?

Mostly OK. How about you?

Did you catch the LMAC volume 2 finale?

Horribly sunburned
but trying to draw

Missed it. hadn't been keeping up so figured I would be able to finish up in time

Could be a pretty good comedy idea. With her having a handful of sidekicks that have to recover her body when she expends to much energy, or having to juryrig some sort of on site charging device.
Would probably depend heavily on how interesting the sidekicks are/how good their chemistry is.

Just the two

How does he switch without anyone noticing?

That's all good and all, and I meant to bring this up last thread, but we really need something that clearly states what /coc/ stands for, and what these threads mean.
Just saying.

It's always been a broad umbrella. If it wasn't then we'd never see any new characters.

Slight of hand nibba

You know, the black boots/gloves and red interior cape look has really grown on me in the past week.
I think that actually does look better than the red boots/gloves version now.

You can do it /coc/! You can survive the weekend!

Attached: 155638463465.png (577x800, 249K)

In GG in need of some kind of new art? Something classy or fun, maybe a little sexy. Or what about scripts that don't have art?

This guy seems awesome

Ladybug rival character for eventual act 2. Lightning powers, general opposite of Ladybug in terms out power level, general success, popularity, outgoingness, confidence. Thoughts?

Attached: tessa redesign.png (953x500, 47K)

Pretty much all of the scripts in the pastebin (unless noted otherwise in the pastebin or are the first beat the Iron Girl saga) lack art.
You should draw whatever appeals to you.

There's been a bunch of talk about further expanding on Audrey's mechanical inclinations.

He's a walking revenge abomination out to kill the gangsters who killed his superhero daughter and then also killed him when he tried to get revenge the first time.

Interesting.
So does that mean she's only being a hero to have a good time and not to actually save people or fight for justice and all that?

Hey guys what if Golden Girl's breasts just kept growing and she ended up with breasts the size of Volkswagen's wouldn't that be funny ha ha

Pretty sure that exists somewhere.

pretty sure theres been a few of her having a nightmare comics where that happens

Attached: 1560611110443.png (2493x933, 1.83M)

OK, so are these pages done?

Attached: GG Iron Impostor 1.png (2126x2650, 2.19M)

Or are they not done?

Attached: GG Iron Impostor 2.png (2126x2600, 2.31M)

That fourth panel remains a huge problem (no dialogue, Audrey silhouetted instead of Katya), but we spotted it fairly late. Depends on whether Hagfish decides they want to redraw it or not.

I just want to make sure I get some verification this thread so I know if it's time to add them to the plus4chan thread and take the script off of the pastebin.

So what topics are currently up for discussion? I wanted to get a little used to this before I try suggesting something.

Right now Golden Girl is guaranteed replies.
There's also bug's new character she's work shopping (I think) for future Lovely Ladybug issues.
And there's also the new characters that have been posted this thread so far.

Or just suggest something else, either new or old and see if anyone's game to discuss it.

OK. Let's see if it can.

Bump I suppose.

Let's see if it'll last until tomorrow and if it'll pick up the pace then.

Golden Girl isn't the type of comic to see villains team up, right?
I'm having trouble picturing a script that could have multiple in it considering how short the stories are.

Well, I have an idea for a comic introducing the new look of IG after the entire Impostor Arc. Feedback is, of course, appreciated.

"New Iron Girl in Town"
Intro: Like in the Iron Impostor, GG is standing face to face with Iron Girl who is now wearing her own personal costume.

Panel 1
Golden Girl is standing next to the Mayor, who is handing GG the golden scissors. It is the grand opening of the new Platinum City Mint, there is a big ribbon on the main entrance. From the Top of the building a shadowy figure is looking down, holding a rope.
>GG (Narration): As Sarah was busy with an important mission with the SoS, I'm taking her place in the Opening Ceremony of the Platinum City Mint.
>Mayor: ...And now, our illustrious daughter, Golden Girl will cut the ribbon!

Panel 2
As GG is about to get the scissors, the figure swings down and grabs the scissors.
>GG: Golly gosh!

Panel 3
Iron Girl, in her new personal costume, is standing victorious with the scissors. Everyone is surprised.
>People in the crowd: Who is that?!
>Mayor: She looks like Golden Girl, but different!
>Small comment from the crowd: And her ears are smaller!
>IG: Insignificant Amerikans! Today your house of money vill suffer the vrath of I, Iron Girl!

Panel 4
GG fights IG.
>GG: So, you finally decided to make your own costume!
>IG: After my plan to frame you vas thwarted by ze Silver Queen, I vent for a direct approach to destroy you.

Panel 5
GG and IG stopped. GG is pointing at IG costume, IG seems a little embarassed, but happy.
GG: But, I must say, I love the breasplate, and the way you old the cape with rivets fits it perfectly.
IG: You zink so? I vasn't sure about ze rivets, but I said vhy no-
Mayor (OFF): *cough* Girls...

Panel 5 (edited)
GG and IG stopped. GG is pointing at IG costume, IG seems a little embarassed, but happy.
>GG: But, I must say, I love the breasplate, and the way you old the cape with rivets fits it perfectly.
>IG: You zink so? I vasn't sure about ze rivets, but I said vhy no-
>Mayor (OFF): *cough* Girls...

Panel 6
GG looks back, the mayor and the crowd are looking at them with an impatient look.
>Mayor: ...There is a building we need to inaugurate.

Panel 7
GG gets back to fight IG, who launches herself trying to stab GG with the scissors.
>IG: Fall Golden Girl!
>GG: It's you will-

Panel 8
GG dodges by turning her body while doing a side step, but didn't took into account her big breasts remain on the way of IG, who hits them with her face and falls back to the ground, dropping the scissors.
>GG: ...Fall?!

Panel 9
IG takes out a rope and escapes, while an embarassed GG picks up the scissors.
>IG: I vill get you next time!

Panel 10
An embarassed GG cuts the ribbon, and everyone celebrates.
>Mayor: I guess the city has to take extra measurements against this new villain everyday.
>GG (Narration): I wish new villains were the only extra "measurement" I have to take everyday.

I like the black pants better.
Maybe the back bodysuit with just the jacket for color. even.

Remember kids, don't let Russian double agents steal your freedoms or Granny Glory will never let you hear the end of it.

Attached: Muh Freedum Day.png (1333x770, 321K)

>That Iron Girl smile
Can I say how much I love it?

Alternative Ver.

>Can I say how much I love it?
Comrade vow to protect smile, yes?

Attached: Freedom Day Alt.png (1337x768, 359K)

>I guess the city has to take extra measures against new villains everyday.
I get that you're going for a play on words here but no one is gonna ,mix up "extra measures" with "extra measurements" unless it's some kind of freudian slip thing... which wouldn't happen here because the mayor can't perceive GG's bosoms so his mind can't be distracted by them enough to make that pun-- accidentally or otherwise.

That is what I was afraid of...
Any suggestions on a better wordplay? Or pun?

>Mayor: I guess the city has to take extra measures against new villains everyday.
>GG: I think I might need to take a few "extra measures" of my own when I get home.
Loses some of the "punchiness" of the original but I think it makes more sense grammatically? Might lose some of the humor, maybe. Offhand I can't say I have any other ways to tweak it.

What about using just the word "measure" instead of "measurement", also slightly changed the dialogue:

Panel 10
An embarassed GG cuts the ribbon, and everyone celebrates.
>Mayor: I guess the city will have to take extra measures against new villains everyday.
>GG (Narration): I wish it was only new villains I have to extra "measures" against everyday.

Thought on alternative dialogues:

Panel 10
An embarassed GG cuts the ribbon, and everyone celebrates.
>Mayor: Good thing we can always count on our beloved Golden Girl supporting the weight of fighting new villains.
>GG (Narration): I just wish new villains were the only "weight" I have to support.

>Mayor: Good thing our beloved Golden Girl is always there to stand in the way of new villains!
>GG (Narration): I just wish new villains were the only "thing" I have to "stand".

IG getting slapped in the face with GG's boobs again feels repetitive even though I know it's meant to mirror their first scuffle.

There should be other ways in which IG can be hit by them.

It's not exactly the same way, though I was not sure how to write it.

In their fist fight, GG loses balances and hits her with them when trying to recover, a mere accident.

Here GG steps asides when IG is charging at her, but her breasts sticks out remaining on IG's path, so IG clashes with them. In other words, it's not GG fault this time, but IG as she can't perceive them.

Don't know if now it is understood better? I also find an interesting recurring joke for IG to always be thwarted by GG's breasts, of course, it would be difficult to keep the idea fresh.

In panel 5 I would change it so that GG is praising how well made/effective the breastplate is. That seems more in line with the mechanical interests we've been giving her.

Maybe
>Mayor: It seems the city has to take [dramatic/extreme] measures to deal with these new villains
>Narration: I wish they weren't the only [dramatic/extreme] measures I had to take

Or perhaps
>Mayor: I'm always impressed by the measures you are willing to go to to protect our city
>Narration: Lately I've been impressed by the measures I've been taking in my own home

>praising how well made/effective the breastplate is.
I like this idea, but I'm not sure how to write it... but, how about this?

>GG: But, I must say, I love the breastplate, I thought of using one before my-. Anyway, it is a titanium alloy?
>IG: You noticed? Yes, it is. I vanted it to be bulletproof and thought it vould fi-
>Mayor (OFF): *cough* Girls...

I like the first proposal for the alternate take on the last joke. Specially with "extreme".

That measurement line alt seems even more contrived to me.

>The city will have to take extra measurements against new villains every day.
>Feels like I have to take new measurements every day already.

Can I get a link to the artist of this piece?

That could work, the my- cutoff might be a little subtle unless the panel is explicitly focusing on her chest.
Maybe
>I though of using one but could never get it to fit
as an alternative?
Or leave both as notes and let whoever is hypothetically drawing it pick.

Does hagfish even have a site?

>There's been a bunch of talk about further expanding on Audrey's mechanical inclinations.
How about something where Audrey breaks the fourth wall and just talks to the audience about some gadgets she's been working on. Maybe three or four with one panel to introduce the device and another for a gag.
For example
>obviously useful superhero gadget that keeps backfiring in a comical way
>obviously useless device which audrey is super enthusiastic about
>something super common in the modern world that audrey has written off as useless
>maybe something bra related

>How about something where Audrey breaks the fourth wall
This should only be done via narration like in Iris's intro. Audrey straight-up addressing the audience and fully acknowledging that she's in a comic feels TOO meta for this project.

I forgot the tumblr but it's probably dead/pruned by now

that's all from the top of my head, so it might be wrong.

I was thinking of something more non-cannon/non-diagetic, maybe framed as a bonus page in a published comic.
Alternatively she could be talking to silver queen, giving here an update on what she's been working on.

Like decoder rings and other popular trinkets.

Audrey narrating her own story ala "dear diary" is about the extent of it.
"Golden Girl's War Journal" so to speak.
No She-Hulk/Empowered style talking to the audience moments.

>This should only be done via narration like in Iris's intro. Audrey straight-up addressing the audience and fully acknowledging that she's in a comic feels TOO meta for this project.
>No She-Hulk/Empowered style talking to the audience moments.

Actually now that you guys mention it, is that something we could consider for Guardian era? She's supposed to be more like a She Hulk then and there's no Code. Also iirc there was talk about a greater /coc/ crossover where she learns the truth.

It's a good idea to keep abreast of these recent developments.

>It's a good idea to keep abreast of these recent developments.
you're hired.

>is that something we could consider for Guardian era?
I wouldn't be opposed to it. Could help to distinguish it's style of comedy from the Golden Girl era strips. Probably wouldn't be a good idea to make it the go-to way to write Guardian strips though.

In terms of GG fluff that lacks even a script, there's the other members of the SoS and The Crusaders.
Loads of character info with no application to scripts thus far.

I fear having that much character info available before there's even a script using practically any of them might make it almost as awkward and cumbersome as Audrey's balancing act.

Wait, is this a line for one of the panels?

could be

I can see it working in the form of aside comments and the like, rather than it being the main thrust of the humor.

Just the usual double entendre I'd say.

Unless Iris decides to start using boob one-liners in the comic.

Bump?

I could see Iris keeping a Diary/Typewriter detailing her examinations of Audrey and the world of GG, spun in such a way she starts casting Golden Girl in an antagonistic light.

Perhaps use said diaries to explore/layout the rules of "The Code" in-universe, with her potentially learning how to aid her own investigations.

Attached: IrisIdenImpro.png (977x772, 340K)

But yours might be the idea with legs. We're all brainstorming here, don't be so quick to throw yours away.

There's no reason there can't be a more light-hearted take on the concept

Should someone tell something about "no running!" As they start to fight with the scissors?

literally just female static shock

Iris at the end of the GG era gets her hands on some tech from the future.

She may or may not be an antagonist for a little while during Bullion, but by the time of GGu she's going by Foresight and is an ally after the whole Bullion thing.
She's been compared to Oracle.

Lefthand-black did post a new pic of Cassandra to the wiki a couple of weeks ago.

I assumed Iris' Heel Turn came at the end of the Golden Girl era, moving to Iris and Audrey as roommates in college and the former assisting her, eventually drafting the Foresight identity.

Can you share it? Hasn't been added to the booru.

I prefer that it comes as a result of them being roommates in college. Spending so much time in proximity leads to them genuinely getting to know each other.

Scroll down.
the-conservatory.fandom.com/wiki/Cassandra

When Iris goes full antagonist for a while is something that hasn't been discussed.

My thoughts are either
1. Machine enemy from the future goes back in time to kill GG to prevent GGu, possesses Iris as a proxy to avoid the code which by the end of it gives her enough understanding to use the tech she hid before it's over. May or may not finally just go with the whole super hero BS after being saved by Audrey enough times.
2. Salvaging tech from the future bad guy (without having been involved with the ordeal) to make new spy equipment and pretending to be friends while spying on Audrey before having to actually help her during Bullion.

Or a mix. Bullion has more of an over arching narrative, like a mini series, so it's not as limited in plot scope as GG, but that also means anything about it is much less likely to happen since heavy continuity = more work.

That's strange, can no longer register to the booru anymore.

been like this for me for afew years now. wont let me upload either

I like it.
I'll add it to the pastebin later.

I guess HF and the rest of those guys who made the IG comic are all busy this weekend.

I guess they were tired out from last thread.

Yeah, they, specially HF, deserved some rest

Seems like the thread is going to die. Before it does I also have an idea for a first appearance strip of Katya as an undercover student.
But I have troubles figuring out the surfer girl lingo.
Any references you could suggest? I may be able to have done by next week.

Tits could be bigger

They're the same size they are on Golden Girl. It's just that the rest of her has caught up.

There's already a script of that in the pastebin.

pastebin.com/JaMSQ8FJ

Fourth script in the Iron Girl saga.

I know, what is more: I wrote that one.

My idea is for the story right before that one. In other words: "the morning" Audrey is talking about.

But this time I want to perfect the surfer lingo, and maybe update that one too with it.

Oh, neat.

Sufer lingo was still a locals only thing during the 1950s since it was before Hollywood sunk their claws into it and popularized it as a cultural phenomenon.
So Katya is actually ahead of the popularity curve, meaning she herself could be very, VERY popular at school depending on what the beach scene is at Platinum City and how proficient her surfing skills are.

You think we can convince the LMAC guy to do some GG pages?

If he ever does another thread you could always just make a post in that thread with GG doing something and he'd draw it since he draws everything.

Yeah, but that's if he makes another thread.

>how proficient her surfing skills are
Wasn't she very good at surfing due to a similar more "hardcore" version of surfing she was a practitioner of? Like harpooning sharks on an ice board.

News to me.

I thought she only learned surfing as part of her cover story after arriving at a beach as her entry point when the submarine dropped her off in the ocean.
Then she observed, adopted, and integrated as best she could with the surfers before moving onto her main objective.

>Katya being very, VERY popular
This could be very interesting...

There was some discussion about that, personally I don't mind either. But I like the idea that because she first met those surfer guys and girls, for Katya the standard American student is a surfer dude.

I think it works out better if surfing is something she picked up after arriving in America. Gives her more character development.

Would her surfer "friends" be good people, bums, both?

>Would her surfer "friends" be good people, bums, both?
Both, they don't go to school, but still make a sort of living in the beach, like working at a shack (though, they mostly slack off), serve as lifeguards and/or trash cleaners.

Hmm, I can see a lot of potential with her spending time with them, but at the same time that would fall under making her look sympathetic/morally gray.

Not really sure how that sort of lifestyle would seem to someone like her. A rejection of capitalism since they do not pursue materialistic desires outside of sustaining themselves? I don't know.

What I do know is Katya would have access to some of the most happening party scenes in the city totally unintentionally.

Remember that as far as the Golden Age part of GG goes, Katya enjoying her time with them is all part of her ruse, and should be constantly reminded to the viewer. Either via Narration, or small panels of her showing her disdain.
However, I do like the idea of she thinking that, unlike the rest of the Amerikans, they still have a chance for redemption.

As the Code breaks, she would start to appreciate her surfer friends and actually start to care for them... like, she actually feels sad to leave them behind when she is called back to the URSS to begin her Assailant Training.

>Katya having access to the most happening party scenes in the city totally unintentionally
Oh yeah.

>Panel 10
>An embarassed GG cuts the ribbon, and everyone celebrates.
>>Mayor: I guess the city has to take extra measurements against this new villain everyday.
>>GG (Narration): I wish new villains were the only extra "measurement" I have to take everyday.

Mayor: I guess the city will have to escalate the magnitude of our response to this new threat.
GG (Narration): I wish new villains were the only thing that might escalate in magnitude.

Mayor: I guess the city will have to expand it's vistas in our response to this new threat.
GG (Narration): I wish new villains were the only vista that was expanding.

Mayor: I guess the city has measure up in response against this new villain every day.
GG (Narration): I wish new villains were the only thing I had to measure up every day.

>....
Whelp I'm spent, rather flaboobgasted as it were. I'd bust out a few more ideas but I'm a little flat right now on creativity.

I'm too tired to really think about how that could factor into her civilian persona, but given how she takes a liking to Audrey I imagine she'd also end up at some of those beach parties.

Does Katya dressed like Audrey or a similar attire like the one in this picture?
What would be the standard non-swinsuit attire for a Surfer Girl?

>unlike the rest of the Amerikans, they still have a chance for redemption.
This.
Katya would clearly spend her time with the beach bums extolling the virtues of socialism. She'd most likely view them as the most enlightened of Americans and worthy of both her respect but also her sympathies due to their non-materialistic lifestyle. She'd assume their living in Woody Wagons and lazing about on the beach is a result of the economic inequalities brought about by extreme capitalism.
During her time in the US she will think of them when engaging in her crusade against Golden Girl as the people she is saving the nation for.

>but at the same time that would fall under making her look sympathetic/morally gray.
Katya being too dense to see surfers as anything more than victims of capitalism, helping fuel her resolve to smash the US infrastructure from within through acts of terrorism and sabotage I think makes it pretty clear where her morals lie. So long as the writer doesn't state outright that what Katya is doing is the right thing and show that she is clearly villainous in her deeds and actions there should be no problem.

We're playing this for laughs, she's not a Captain America or Green Arrow character. Think more like Rocky and Bullwinkle's Boris and Natasha.

>What would be the standard non-swinsuit attire for a Surfer Girl?
The same as any other 50's teenager. She only needs a bikini for the beach.

(incidentally, bikinis are considered indecent by 50's standards.)
(interestingly though, only elite Euro upper class wore them at the time.)
(they're also popular in Socialist work camps-- maybe Katya helped boost the popularity?)

>Katya as an undercover student.
>Does Katya dressed like Audrey

Attached: Devil in a Blue Dress.png (541x858, 168K)

Maybe she asks for Audrey's tailor at one point, but I don't think she should make an effort to dress like her unless it's for a joke.

So she'd be popular in that rebellious teen way, but different than in the greaser way. Makes sense she and Roller Betty would be at odds. Betty would think of her as a rival, somehow.

Neat.

>Makes sense she and Roller Betty would be at odds.
It was established in a prior thread that Betty doesn't go to the same school as Audrey, Iris, Billy and Katya.
She meets Billy via her job at the burger drive-in.
She likely wouldn't know anything about Katya and would only have bad-guy familiarity with Iron Girl, at best.
She still wouldn't like her much. Outside of Billy, I'm not sure if Betty likes anybody.

I'm just trying to set the stage for any sort of new script ideas formulating. There's not much in terms of their non-caped lives, so the teenaged heroes and villains ending up at the same party in their civvies might lead to something entertaining.

Or not, I'm just spitballing while killing time in the early morning.

Can I say how much I love Katya's smiles?

>Devil in a Blue Dress
Love the idea of she wearing blue clothes to oppose the color of Red, as part of her bluff

>teenaged heroes and villains ending up at the same party in their civvies might lead to something entertaining.

I forget the name but there's a fast food clown mascot/villain in that has an Oktoberfest-themed Amusement Park in Platinum City. Maybe all the kids can have a wacky episode there?

You'd just need to workshop the whole 50's loosely-German Hot Dog franchise theme park... thing.

>Betty doesn't go to the same school as Billy
But I imagine she would be similar to Carol, aka Star Sapphire, in DC Super Hero Girls, essentially showing up at Audrey's school everyday to check on Billy.
It could even lead to a recurring joke of Audrey, Billy and Iris always telling her something among the lines:
>Shouldn't you be at your own school, right now?
>Don't you have classes to attend in your own school?

i now want to draw GG in a drindl
so

fucking

badly

yes to both.

The Clown King.
His amusement park might be around the beat or be on a pier.

>His amusement park might be around the beat or be on a pier.
Maybe it changes location and appearance every 100 customers served...

A bit outside of his power range unless he has some employees from the old OLD country.

but perhaps
it was not by his hand that he was once again given
fresh cuts of meat to make the glorious, tantalizing variety of sausages and roasts you crave and adore!

Ice Rink in Niffleheim.
Clown King's castle/base of operations is in Hel.
Muspelheim is the Food Court.

Jormungandr is the roller coaster that winds it's way through the entire park.

Cool and Worldbuildy. Nice Penni.

Well if he has a Norse theme for his park, feels like his regular enemy would be Kid Valor.

>Kid Valor is a Belmont
sure, okay.

That's some Boo Boo the Fool shit, Penni.
And the fool is you.

All of those kids need some character development/anything. It's as good a place as any to start with one of them.

Could be GG first meets KV while investigating the place.

Just FYI, communism is well and truly dead in Russia in any generation born after the 70's and unpopular in others. In part from westernization of values, in part from disillusionment, in part from the heavy anti-soviet state propaganda (all the wealth from natural resources is being siphoned by the corrupt elite and the state doesn't want a resurgence of certain communist economic values). The communist party very rarely gets anything over 10% in elections and that's considering most of the voluntary voters are old people with nothing to do (the rest are government workers or people employed by pro-regime oligarchy that are forced to vote for the ruling party). There is literally more socialist youth in the US nowadays. A modern Russian villain would be a money-grubbing authoritarian who wants to concentrate political power and wealth in a few hands and engage in warmongering and imperialism to distract the population with a foreign enemy while wringing them dry physically and economically for personal gain. So basically Putin.

I hear you and that's all fair but check this out, man.
It's a comic book,world man. She's not real.

Is her backstory getting hit by lightning while trying to siphon electricity from state powerlines with her favorite energy drink's metal can in her pocket attracting the bolt?

I'm not saying I'm against the character, I also realize GG is a retro universe where a communist Russian villain makes sense. I'm just pointing out that a modern Russian villain would be very different. Russian hero/villain = communism is as tired as black = electric powers.

In the more main /coc/ setting we do have a character who sort of matches up with your earlier comments, though his goals differ from consolidating power through money and war.
The sort of character where it's more trouble than it'd be worth to directly oppose him since getting rid of him would destabilize the region he's in so much that there's no way to avoid genocides breaking out.
And in the /coc/ setting the Cold War was fought with superheroes with superpowers instead of men in suits all threatening to use their end-the-world buttons.

At the end of it all, it's more worthwhile to just have IG be a funny Americanized stereotype of Russians and communism in general. Your points would need to be considered if the timeline ever got past the 80s though, which is why I don't think there should be any "modern day" GG stories.

this was addressed earlier >We're playing this for laughs, she's not a Captain America or Green Arrow character. Think more like Rocky and Bullwinkle's Boris and Natasha.

it taking time to redraw mine /COC/ don't die on me

are you having a stroke?

yes, send help.

OK.

So are you actually working on something?
Because I don't want to necrobump this thread for too long.

I think we're getting the Van Pelt special, y'all.

Are we the football or the piano?

the fiddle.

Wouldn't IA turned from communist to socialist at some point?

Footlab of Carnage?

Redraw what?
