Yes that was the point.

Great movie

yeah I was thinking about that!
I like this idea of the MCU breaking that mold and ending a movie with the villain winning.

Also, I must say that I'm kinda mad about it, but it fits totally with mysterio that he had that back up plan in case of being "defeated"

also, that after credits scene was a surprised.
I was already spoiled that the skrulls made a small cameo during the movie, but oh boy if they were part of the story.

>>said team still has access to edith
didn't pete take back the glasses at the end?

yes but mysterio still owns the right for it, peter told edith that the new owner/tony will now be mysterio
peter was able to use edith in the end because tony programmed that no matter who owns edith now peter can still use it

Also, I'm like 95% sure he's not dead

You need to verbally give access to the person if you're giving it to someone else.
Beck did not do that.

I hope so. As far as I can tell Spider-Man killed Mysterio by breaking his wrist. That doesn't make any sense. Not only that, but if he's dead then the movie was a waste in setting up the Sinister Six.

he got shot by one of his drones
