Yea Forums why is Rick and Morty consistently referred to as a show for bluepilled cucks? I've never seen the show and I don't really want to invest time in watching it; but it seems like Rick and Morty is bundled with playing the Nintendo Switch, or driving a faggy car like a Smart car. Is this just a retarded meme or is there some substance from the show that backs that up?

It's a mediocre c- tier over hyped show that hipster druggies like. It's animation is mediocre and the only likable characters are rick, morty and jerry(mortys dad). Watch it, it's not flat out garbage except for season 3.
And to answer the bluepill question, it's cause rick is fanbase famous for saying a lot of atheist/nihilist things and liking and associating yourself with those kinds of values is pretty bluepilled and quite cringy.

I feel as though at least Yea Forums is more self aware than rebbit, or at least used to be. Rebbit is literal boomers and millennials, Yea Forums you at least feel a fresh flow from all the different facets of internet cultures and age. Whether or not the humor is still good is null, Yea Forums humor continues to be superior to rebbit by its self aware pathetic irony as Yea Forums never really takes itself too seriously. All the memes aside the reason the show is worth watching is the fact that, like the original simpsons it has a heart. It buries that under tons of layers of edgy "humor" but at the end of the day it does a good job of showing people deal with emotional fallout from their relationships.

The show desperately wants to be Futurama in this regard, but completely misses why that worked in Futurama. It makes the same mistake post-cancellation Futurama made, where they completely forgot why the tearjerker episodes worked and just assume that having a sappy final scene in the episode somehow makes it heartfelt.
