Aquaman's already a brown guy, I see no reason they'd do any more forced diversity. Especially because Wan seems to have a general rule of casting attractive people regardless of their race.
Basically: Dolphin's race might get changed, but I guarantee that if it it she won't be ugly. Momoa is handsome and charming, I'd expect a racechanged Dolphin to be the same. It's not going to be like what's happening with the Little Mermaid remake, where the girl they cast to play Ariel is both a different race and also ugly.
