Make up your damn minds, do you want them to predictably follow the sources or to put tweests on them?
Skrulls are dindus as a reversal from the comics

Leave.
Yea Forums simply wants a realistic down-to-earth show that's completely off the wall and swarming with magic robots
jake gyllenhaal is handsome I wanna touch his hair
Skrulls are a metaphor for secret communists and hidden Muslims infiltrating our society, so twisting them into poor oppressed Palestinians metaphor goes against Yea Forums's preferred ideologies.
Mysterio being fake is so predictable and Jake Gyllenhaal is such a charismatic man that people wanted him to be a decent bloke.
Yea Forums isn't one person.
While you've deluded yourself into thinking you're talking to another individual because you lack a true social life, that's not the case. You're actually still completely alone.
Yea Forums may not be one person, but everyone sure seems to be desperate to fit in by shitposting the same opinion (which is usually the exact opposite of what everyone thinks is the mainstream opinion, because by thinking the opposite of the mainstream you're automatically very clever person)
That's exactly what you're doing and you don't even realize it
Except of course the constant whinging that everyone ELSE is the contrarian except themselves.
Regular show
Was there even that much complaining about MCU skrulls? I don't even remember anyone bringing up Palestine.
You sound like a typical MCU fanboy from the Marvel Studios subreddit. Everything is perfect and anyone says the contrary, is a contrarian/incel/racist/edgy/pol. The same buzzwords
Literally none of the five buzzwords you posted are in the post you're replying to. Here's a buzzword for you - rent free.
It was all folded in.
It's just that the kind of people who bitch about a WOMAN being CAPTAIN MARVEL (of all the nerve!) just happen to be the same people who think everything is jewish symbolism
I don't see much of a problem making the special effects guy now be a science guy.
Same overall concept he is just linked more to Tony.
Fucking no one complained that Captain Marvel was a woman, they complained about the fact that she was a bland, boring narcissistic miscast.
I'm reeeeing on how they made Mysterio into just another Power Armored Iron man foe dudesman who messes with Peter Parker's mind in a completely different way he is know to do in the comics but that's me.
--as a woman. Yes.
And a woman with small tits and no one-piece suit either. How dare they.
Ignoring everything else how would you rate Captain Marvel as a movie?
>power armored
He had no power armor, even his suit was VR.
No ass true, small tits is wrong though.
Brie is not a chestlet but an asslet desu
They can make shit and people will watch it for continuity purpose.
I hate their circlejerk on captain marvel . ITs mediocre and they act like its awesome movie ever.
Just got back from the movie.
>Mysterio 10/10
>Let's pretend everyone important to the cast blip 5/10
>Jokes 4/10 I felt every joke from a mile away. Really why I stopped watching MCU movies
>Spider-Man 8/10 better than last movie
>MJ 7/10 better than last movie. But really no reason why Peter liked her in this movie
Wait, who was actually expecting Mysterio MCU to not be a phony?
Metal Gear?
Skrulls can still be the villians later on. Like there could be a skrull faction that wants to take over.
This is the issue with the anonymity of Yea Forums. Everyone who just didn't like Captain Marvel is lumped in with /pol/
This, the moment he claimed this Earth was 616 it was a dead giveaway.
The problem with Mysterio is that he is another Iron Man villain angry at Tony.
If he was just some asshole that wanted fame, money, and power that would be one thing. But also tying it to revenge to Tony weaken him and takes away from him as a Spider-Man villain.
This. If he was just some fame-seeking fag trying to capitalize on Tony's death, that would've sufficed.
The thing is the Skrulls can be written around. They can just say the main empire is still at war. My problem is that Skrulls look like garbage. Where's the green skin(their skin looks garbage), purple jumpsuit and the red eyes? The one from the concept art was perfect. They looked intimidating there.
Yeah no shit, whatever they did worked perfectly.
Psycho Mantis?
You know what was really shitty? I knew mysterio was a bad guy going in to the film. But I really, REALLY wanted him to be a good guy for peter in this one, simply because of how they handled him for the first part of the film. But having him turn out to be just absolutely batshit was also pretty fun.
>Mysterio is a fraud just like the comics
I liked that but could they just have not him related to Stark in anyway?
No they arent you god damn retard you dont actually carw about anything stop shoving politics down peoples throats
>really no reason why Peter liked her in this movie
She's quirky! Its ......different. Some people like different.
Fooly Cooly.
All skrulls must die
Who's complaining about Mysterio? Even people who hated the movie said he was the best thing about it, well him and that cameo appearance but still.
I barely keep up to date with this board's opinion of Spiderman movies, but I have seen more positivity about Mysterio on here than anything else.
Maybe Yea Forums just wants good adaptations of good comics.
Actually it's bullshit they made a Captain Marvel movie about her and not Mar-Vell.
>char
Yeah, if anybody else played him i'd be mad at even a concept of him being a hero but that look he gave to pete after he said he's mysterio now was so cute i just wanted him to be good
T. straight male
The MCU already butchered Peter horribly, so many were expecting Mysterio to be butchered, too.
You can also add Uncle Ben being alive
>>I wanted to know why Watts was so reticent about Uncle Ben the first time around and so assured this time, so I asked if anything had changed between Homecoming and Far From Home.
>“We knew we weren’t going to tell an origin story, so we just avoided talking about that in too much detail,” Watts explained. “I didn’t want to reveal too much. It was a lot more sensitive of an issue to not be doing an origin story when we were talking about Homecoming ... back then, people were saying ‘Why are you making another Spider-Man movie?’ The focus was on showing people things that they had never seen before, not retelling that origin.”
>So Uncle Ben definitely existed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But Watts was quick to add a little unsolicited ambiguity into the equation. When I noted that he is now willing to say “Yes, Uncle Ben did exist in the MCU,” he replied “Yeah. I mean, we don’t know,” and then he took a long pause before adding “We never specifically say anything about him. So whether or not he’s around or not.”
>My response to that comment was probably best described as stunned silence. I didn’t ask a follow-up so much as I let out a confused “Huhhhhhh” as I pondered the possibility that Watts seemed to be implying: That Uncle Ben might not be dead in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At that point, Watts added “Yeah. Everything’s on the table, is how I like to say it.”
Yea Forums just wants some reason to complain about something popular and isn't afraid to reach to do it. It's been like this all the ten years I've been here, you learn to tune it out and it becomes like white noise in the background.
Wait, I thought everybody was glad Mysterio was played straight?
Rick and Morty.
That is not realistic and down to earth in the slightest
>who messes with Peter Parker's mind in a completely different way he is know to do in the comics
Dude, that scene where Mysterio fucks with Peter using his illusions is exactly the sort of shit that comic Mysterio would pull. Did you even watch the movie?
>made Mysterio into just another Power Armored Iron man foe dudesman
Oh you didn't. Thanks for the confirmation.
If you're going to shitpost, please actually see the movie
Anyone who doesn’t like popular things is a contrarian!
a fellow 4channer, i see. keep up the good work!
>revenge
He didn't want revenge. He wasn't even trying to sully Tony's legacy. He was trying to claim it as his own because he and his buddies thought Tony owed them more.
Because it also butchered all other elements that made Peter Parker in general, like his villains, setting, feelings on justice and abilities, right?
To be completely fair, the only thing that Sony fucked up was MJ, who's little by little getting better if FFH is any indication and Flash, but then again, I suppose the thing is how would you expect to see Agent Venom if Venom is supposed to be in its own contained universe in the first place?
And obviously also the deal with Sugar Daddy Stark, too.
The illusion fights against mysterio were great.
The first big one is imagery straight out of a comic book which doesn't make much sense but looked cool.
Final fight was just straight out Peter being badass and dodging infinite amount of bullets in a way only he can. Good stuff.
NEVER TRUST A SKRULL. these idiots aren't going to learn to hate skrulls until its too late
That would be too retarded, even for Marvel.
The jackasses who unironically wanted hero Mysterio were casuals and Reddit users obsessed with subversion of expectations
futurama?
