It's from a horror webcomic (Awful Hospital) but the cake was just a symbol used on one page to explain an entity that wants to reabsorb the universe. Years later we still don't know what it was but it was also implied that its true form is what we call cancer.

Where it's at now, though, my goal is to go straight into solid "puzzle solving" for the rest of the story arc, use all the items and resources and allies we've built up, and finally get to the endgame. I hope I can make people feel satisfied who have stuck with it.

HONEST question, I now know what you'd like less of but what would you like/would have liked more of? I try to give people what they seem to want but it's hard when I get almost no constructive criticism in the comments or otherwise any mix of opinions.

I mean, if anyone has read stuff from Nobilis, or Exalted, or Night Land, or even just weird fiction in general, then it shouldn't be much of a problem.

I mention browsing it fairly often, but I strictly use a username if I post. I'd really rather people not start threads about my stuff because they almost always turn into arguments. This is probably the most innocuous one I've ever seen go on for more than five posts.

There was one on /tg/ the other day that was going well (aside from one guy complaining about the Cake being an absolute kind of thing), but it got deleted.

I always thought of the comments as purely for story interaction rather than a place to review or give critique. From now on I’ll try to give critical feedback when I have something to say.
