So, is it the lightning passing through Superman first before hitting Leslie the reason she got powers instead of dying?
So, is it the lightning passing through Superman first before hitting Leslie the reason she got powers instead of dying?
boobs
i thought it was cuz of magic
Does it really matter? It's almost the exact same way Electro got his powers. Just chalk it up as electricity kickstarting her metahuman genes or some shit
God i just want to fuck Livewire until she cums and kills me instantly
>Does it really matter?
Well, yeah. She should have been killed but the only explanation I see for her getting powers instead was that the lightning goes through Superman first. It's maybe a weird effect of his Kryptonian physiology and how it processes energy.
You don't fuck Livewire. Livewire fucks YOU.
Well Superman is a living solar battery after all. He arguably has more in common with flora than Earth fauna given how dependent he is on yellow solar radiation. But I suppose that's a good an explanation as any I guess.
Yes I’ve always thought that’s why she got powers.
>cuz of magic
Really?
So when does some one try this again but with fire or radiation and shit?
I also assume that's the reason why her electricity is able to hurt him.
No it’s because of weather wizards machine from the previous episode. Fun fact: This episode was written by Evan Dorkin
Is it me or does the YJ version of Livewire make her absolutely weak. Back here she was able to pull Freakazoid bullshit and download herself into electronic equipment in her “logia form.” Not to mention she was able to hurt Superman. In YJ, she was knocked out by fucking electricity and she can’t even turn herself into lightning.
For starters, lots of people survive lightning strikes, being struck by lightning has a fairly low mortality rate, ~10-20%. Secondly, the lightning strike activated her metagene.
>metagene
That was never a concept in the DCAU
Have there been any stories about a villain performing mad science with a tissue sample or something from Superman?
Seems like I haven't heard anything about the weird ways Kryptonian biology can be used, but you could get some stories out of that.
never a CONFIRMED concept.
Darlin’, you know what they say about Iron and Electricity, right?
That's cute but what if. . .
Seconding this question. The potential of the weird Kryptonian biology tends to be woefully underused.
It went through Superman, not Shazam.
Nah, it probably just activated her latent metagene. The lightning hitting Superman was just to establish that it hurts him.
A traumatic accident being the catalyst for a metagene developing powers is probably the same reason Rudy turned into Parasite instead of just melting, or how Volcana got her powers.
The Milk and Cheese guy? Cool!
I don't remember. But in DCAU comics she lost powers, if i remember correctly after lightning, and then was hitted by lightning again and became Livewire again.
Cast by who?
By Mxy!
It's definitely Superman-related SOMEHOW. Usually when people are killed they die.
Comics are only semi-canon
>metagene
This concept was never introduced in the DCAU. Ipersonally don't like it because it's a fucking lazy plot device, almost as bad as mutation in Marvel.
Sorry but Statick Shock?
I think in the Flashpoint universe, the government grafted Superman's DNA on a dude and he turned into an evil Goku parody.
Bang babies were mutations directly caused by a chemical accident, not a latent "metagene" being "triggered" by an outside stimulus.
Lightening does funny things at DC in general.
Only when filtered through something.
