I'll admit part of it is it came out right after Infinity War, which was a modern Empire Strikes Back.

AMatW is harmless fun, but it's nothing special. The character stuff is all good, but everything else ranges from mediocre to outright bad.

It's like the most generic Marvel movie ever. Or at least it was, until Captain Marvel came out. If Ant-Man and the Wasp wasn't funny, it'd be literally nothing. Which is what Captain Marvel is.

> The film has zero emotional weight after Odin's death. The Guardians films get away with their humor because before Infinity War they had the most emotional impact of the entire Mcu. This had none of that balance. The entire time I was watching Ragnarok I was saying to myself "Gunn could have done this so much better".

Not even baiting, how does anyone like Black Panther? The character itself is just painfully bland and the movie was atrocious. Feel like I'm living in bizarro world when people heap praise on it.

I thought he was pretty good in Civil War but the movie was a total dud. Even the structure felt weird, like it was missing a middle and skipped straight to the conclusion.

I liked T'challa as a protagonist. Felt refreshing to have an MCU hero who wasn't trying to replicate the RDJ magic.

Performances were solid but the story stopped having literally any stakes after his meme sister built him a suit that literally works like the magic forcefield that one cunt kid came up with on the playground back in the day.

The CGI on Sam Jackson was excellent, I actually liked the Skrull twist, and the part where she spares Jude Law was pretty clever. Soundtrack was decent even though it was just the first search results for "popular 90s music". But aside from that it's far and away the worst MCU movie. Literally the only superhero movie that had me checking my watch to see when it'd be over.

I can see that Breakfast Club poster fused with the Spiderman Homecoming poster. Don't think you can try to hide it.

If anything, I feel like people on here hate on BP because 'MUH WOKENESS, MUH BLACKS' when it was definitely one of the best MCU movies. You'd think the movie was legitimately terrible or one of the worst movies ever made according to people on here. It was great actually.
