That and I found his constant Kissing His Cat to be way too unappealing. Now I know what you're thinking, "Cat girls are hot" but this cat girl is very damn near feral looking and this behavior is very gross. It's one thing to fantasize about animal girls, but seeing it in an actual cartoon just feels gross. I hope this element is removed from the final version.
Honestly I don't have high hopes for this cartoon, the main human protagonist is very annoying. Being made younger doesn't really eliminate how annoying he can be. I prefer watching Mao over this seemingly annoying cartoon. And it's all because of how annoying the main lead is.
I'm just waiting for the false rape accusation to happen since the guy seems to be an actual weirdo given the content in the pilot.

I will always be in awe of Dan & Swampy's perseverance and determination to get this idea picked up. Sure, it's pretty common for the pitching process to take a while before a show is actually greenlit, but it took these guys SIXTEEN YEARS before their idea was given a chance.
Phineas and Ferb's original 3-story format might've been a major reason why most networks rejected it, but the fact that the final show ended up rivaling SpongeBob at one point proves that Dan & Swampy's pitch was well worth a shot.

If you ever have access to watch your favorite show on a legit site/app, do it to help support it. Sometimes episodes are even “unlocked” on random holidays for people with no cable subscription.
With TV networks depending more on online streaming, now us regular, non-Nielsen folks can actually have an effect on a show’s measure of success.

Tig n’ Seek could be fun. Don’t take it down a peg just because it’s another cartoon with a happy-go-lucky protagonist. That’s been a staple of children’s cartoons for decades and has only continued becoming the norm for most networks after SpongeBob’s global success.

While I generally enjoyed Uncle Grandpa, it usually lacked the well-paced comedic timing and more clever jokes that made other modern slapstick cartoons like Gumball, Wander Over Yonder, the new Mickey Mouse Shorts, or even Teen Titans Go! far more entertaining. UG almost always went for easy jokes that subsequently fell flat or were executed in ways that kept them from being truly funny. Ever notice how nearly every UG alum seems to be incapable of nailing surreal slapstick comedy and actually making it consistently FUNNY?

I know some of you actually liked the Tiggle Winks pilot, but I’d still count it as a weak surrealist toon.
That being said, "Ballroom" is by far one of the funniest 11-minute cartoons of the past decade and I recommend everybody to check it out if they were to watch just one episode of this show. David Gemmill is just that good.

Pete Browngardt seems to have gotten better at making these types of cartoons, if the new Looney Tunes Cartoons are any indication. This gives me hope that Myke Chilian also improved his comedic chops since his time on Uncle Grandpa. His episodes on that show were fine, but I want Tig n’ Seek to be even better now that the guy has more experience. Plus, he’s collaborated with Justin Roiland in the past, and that dude is a master of surrealist comedy.
