Zendaya a cute, the other ones are too old, even at the time of their release. She's not really Mary Jane to me, but i don't care about these movies anyway.
If Zendaya was still as edgy as she was in Homecoming I'd still have her pretty low but she was made cute and flawed and admitting she was kind of a fuckup so she managed to work for me so I'm more okay with it now
Peter and Gwen were arguably the only good things about those movies
I enjoy the way they did the relationship with Peter and Mary Jane however, Mary Jane's actress was awful and it is really annoying how every movie boiled down to a "she gets kidnapped and Spidey has to save her" ending. I mean, come on people give Zendaya shit for her MJ portrayal but Kirsten Dunst Mary Jane is apparently the version we wanted to see on screen? When we've got two cartoons, an animated movie and a video game that does her so much better?

Zendaya was a lot better in FFH and I honestly liked her scenes with Peter, but they really borrowed heavily from the ASM Peter/Gwen dynamic.

This, I love the Raimi trilogy but they had no chemistry. On the flipside, the ASM movies were awful but Garfield and Stone had great chemistry.
I think I prefer MCU Spidey most over all in this respect, it hits a nice balance.

It's funny because Tobey and Kirsten were also dating/hooking up at the time, or at the very least during the first two films but their chemistry was not there at all. Even though like said, the kiss is legit one of the most iconic cape scenes of all time.
