Somewhat of a dumb question Yea Forums but I’ve been wondering, when Banner snapped everyone who was killed by Thanos back into reality would they reappear where they were pre Snap or would they just be placed on the ground safely?

If pregnant mothers were snapped, were their unborn children also gone? Only living things were snapped, so when are they fully living things? Does the snap provide the benchmark at which babies have souls? Did Thanos settle the abortion debate?

The directors answered this. They were all returned to a safe location. The intent of Hulk's snap was to bring everyone back safely, having them materializing into thin air would defeat the purpose

People don't ask this kind of question when they revive people with the Dragon Balls, because it's obvious that they wish for them to return safely

I distinctly remember someone who died in Dragon Ball digging themselves out of there grave after they where wished back in a montage of people being revived.

vegeta but his grave was very shallow

That happened back when there was a rule to keep the body intact.

The rule in Dragonball is if your corpse is still salvagable you'll get rezzed there, but if not the Dragon can just make you a new body. They didn't know this initially as they went out of their way to preserve the bodies of everyone who died the first time they planned to make that wish. But that's how it works.

Vegeta had been dead like an hour so he just revived in his grave.

if you keep your body in the afterlife, your halo just vanishes and you gotta head back to the mortal realm on your own.

I hate how underpowered they made the gauntlet in the mcu. Its not like a wish granting thing like a genie or the dragonballs. With the actual infinity gauntlet hulk could stop time, astral project, and place every single person where he wanted like hes playing garrys mod.

the real question is what happened to all the people who died because of other people getting snapped. Passengers of vehicles with dusted pilots, babies with dusted parents, surgery patients with dusted surgeons, people who killed themselves after all their loved ones got yeeted, etc. Did they just get fucked, or did Hulk think of them too?

The Infinity Gauntlet and Gems are basically the Dragon Balls of Marvel if you think about it. They should be played more on that note, in case Marvel fucks up just gather the gems and snap, crackle or pop your way out of it. Make Spider-Man married again, erase some event you don't like, bring back any character.

Infinity War 2 should be everyone fighting over who to bring back from the dead or something.

Spider-Man FFH shows a school band playing in a gymnasium during the snap only to reappear fiver years later during an active basketball game in their exact same positions.

Not to mention other stuff that happened during those 5 years.

A kid could loose his parents, get adopted, live with his new family for 5 years, then old parents comes back...

A boy and a girl were 15-17 and dating, he got dusted. Reappeared 5 years later only to find that his girlfriend moved on is happily married and pregnant.

Or what if someone got snapped during his/her wedding.

Or when a baby in 8th month of pregnancy got dusted.

So many personal dramas could happen because of it. You could make a whole TV series around it.

During the snap

The movies were terrible.

I'm going to assume in womb babies counted as part of the mothers and if mothers got dusted so did feetuses and in womb babies.
Babies became their own thing after birth.

They return in the exact position they were when they got snapped unless that position would kill them. In Spider-Man FFH, they showed people got snapped in the school gym during a game and then got 'blipped' back in the exact same spots but I would assume if someone was on an airplane, for example, they wouldn't get blipped back 50,000 ft in the air

But they're biologically alive and since its Hollywood and marvel comics theres no such thing as religion only space magic

Thanos snapped 50% of all life so it shouldn't apply to fetuses in the same way that it didn't cause people to randomly lose eyeballs or limbs.

Eyeballs and limbs aren't genetically distinct from the rest of the body

Actually the dust would go out from her bottom.

they probably went with their mothers, since the alternative is them dying immediately as they hit the floor

and there weren't gut bacteria and tapeworms all over the floor, what's your point

What about eggs?

yeah I can't post that gif in this board

Yes they do. Bulma built capsules for Roshi and Krilin so their bodies wouldn't rot and a wish was used to bring Krilins soul to Earth's station before the wish to revive him so he wouldn't be brought back in the space here Namek used to be

Eggs are separate from the mother so they are treated as individuals.

Don't think of the gauntlet as under powered, but rather, the people an materials used to house it are. Even Thanos, Mad Titan and individual who's clearly been shown to be able to harness the infinity stones easily without the gauntlet helping him, is visibly injured from using just the Snap, and the gauntlet, something made specifically to house the stones gets beaten up by the action.

Clearly MCU characters are not nearly as robust as their comic or cartoon counterparts.

Far from home showed us that some were returned where they were snapped away
