So where do we go from here?

So what happens next? How could the Osbornes tie into this? Harry and Peter's relationship is non existent, so thats out of the question, I could see it go 3 ways.

1. Power vacuum is created after Stark's death and someone will have to fill in to Stark's threat prevention role in the world, and this is where Osborne ties in, he buys the Avengers towers and becomes a figure like Tony Stark but is corrupted more and more, and creates a serum to combat people like Spider-man

2. Kraven the Hunter is let loose and hunts Spider-man for the biggest game yet.

3. Symbiote story-line, Spider-man on the run could give Peter enough motivation to go darker, basically saying "fuck it"

Why would he be on the run. Peter is friends with Skrulls who can easily shapeshift into him and make it appear Spider-man and Peter Parker are in the same room together. That is the only reason why they would be in the film.

There's no way they're doing a symbiote story without tying it to Sony's Venom and there's no way they can incorporate that in the MCU.
The movie dove pretty hard on the lovers angle for Eddie and the symbiote, how would you even separate the two and make the black suit plot work?

Back in 2014-16 we all argued how incomplete Civil War is gonna be without Spider-man, but here we are.

isn't sony actually making a solo kraven movie?
if that does well (reception-wise, not just financially), a spider-man movie with kraven could be great

Scorpion set up in the first film, Jameson set up in the second film. Scorpion in the suit is gonna be the bad guy in the third film, count it. Sony and Marvel will strike up a deal where Marvel can keep using Spider-Man as long as there's a Spider-Man/Venom teamup movie in the future.

There's a safe bet that Mac Gargan will become The Scorpion, bankrolled by JJ Jameson, and advertised as "The hero we deserve" who will bring Spider-Man to justice. Though I highly doubt we're through with Beck either. Studios want The Sinister Six, and as of now Mysterio is Peter's archenemy of this universe

Spider-Man’s identity being outed is a lot less of an issue when he has a government agency with shapeshifting aliens to back him up. SHIELD could cover this whole thing up in a week and get the Daily Bugle shut down

I doubt that JJJ will fund Scorpions origin in MCU as it would mean he has the money to fund the project (hes just a talk show host), I could however see Oscorp using deathrow inmates for human testing

Probably do Scorpion as an Oscorp creation using a knock off of the and JJJ as the hypeman. Drives Mac insane and into a public menace. Norman snaps because the formula isn't "Good enough" and tests himself. Creates the Green Goblin. Meanwhile Eddie Brock is tracking down a lead on the location of Spider-Man who is dividing NY between Menace and Hero in order to get a scoop. Gets caught in the crossfire and Venom happens. End of film builds to Sinister Six.

Why wouldn't he have the money? JJ is a published author, has a successful show, and probably has other investments. Since he and Peter have never met in this universe, this would at least give him a reason to have a connection to Parker. Wouldn't you like to see JJ realize his mistake, and maybe even help Peter fight Scorpion with a Spider-Slayer?

AoS revived it, but it's not adressed in the movies.

It's the last movie in the Sony/Marvel deal right?
So I would think whatever it is would be some kind of open ended conclusion, hoping to make a better another deal or better deal.

My guess is the next movie ends with Dr Strange erasing Peter from every ones mind. Villains target his friends and family He tries using Stark shit to guard them but it backfires he pulls through by the skin of his teeth. Maybe he loses someone in the process (Probably Happy). Villain says something along the lines of he won't be the last one, other will come. Then so desperate and hurt he goes to Strange for help. And erases all traces of Peters existence from the earth. Leaves it open for movies if another deal is made because technically he's still around. Also works as a finally Pete making a huge sacrifice to take care of the people he loves but also removes him from the MCU if there is no deal made.

From my understanding the current Spidey deal specifies Disney can still use the character so long as he appears within a certain time frame. If Peter doesn't, SONY gets full creative control again. But I'm uncertain if this is accurate, because I thought the deal was based upon a set amount of appearances that would lead to a renegotiation

That's close to what I heard and I thought it was a three picture deal. Like 3 Spider-Man solo's with appearances in other movies.

The deal was 6 movies (3 team ups and a trilogy) but since they're setting him up as the next main hero of the mcu, it's probably been renewed and we don't know, they'll probably tell everyone at sdcc later this month

Disney got a 6 movie deal. Civil War, Avengers 3 and 4, then three Spider-Man solo movies. They've got one more solo movie, then they'll need to re-negotiate.
As it stands, Sony gets to make a bunch of money and all they have to do is pitch in a little to advertise and do no other work, so it'd be incredibly silly for them to decline a renewal.

The only issue here is greed and SONY Pictures stupidity. They're high off the success of Venom, Spider-Verse, and the PS4 game, so I wouldn't be surprised if they started playing hardball with Disney. SONY knows Marvel Studios needs Spidey moving forward post Endgame.

Last I saw Pascal was verbally felating feige in public and saying they wanted another deal, not to mention this deal from my understanding was originally between Japanese Sony and Disney with Sony pictures cut out of the talks

SONY Pictures is like the annoying stupid little brother of SONY HQ in Japan. The only reason why the deal happened, besides the leaked emails, was because SONY Japan was livid that their American film division was being run so incompetently, unable to turn a profit from fucking Spider-Man of all things. So as a result HQ stepped in and forced their underlings to take the fucking check after they offended Marvel Studios with an offer worth more than what Disney paid for Star Wars. Pascal is a fucking idiot, and Japan knows it. Hell this is the same company that tainted the Ghostbusters brand.

Kraven-Old friend of Stark who bought weapons for hunting

Hopefully Ironman.Jr will defeat every enemy of Ironman.

What about Mister Negative? You could easily say The Spot is a former disgruntled Stark employee who found Darkforce stuff and became the way he is rather than have him work for The Kingpin. It would be neat if they tried to do American Son

We have the build up from all the other marvel movies, introduce the Beyonder in the near future. Maybe some Madame Web shenanigans who knows..
Secret wars = symbiot suit (because we all know a good 70% of the fans want that)

But my main ideas are something like

Other than that I want Norman to be the green meanie, Ned to go full on villain/jealous mode on Peter and go full hobgoblin and just get more goblins.
Preferably have that be the start of a goblin war trilogy.

Maybe introduce Otto so we can also get a superior spider-man line of movies..

They may as well introduce Jackal if High Evolutionary is going to be the main villain in Guardians 3. Jackal could be the main villain of Can't Go Home while Scorpion is secondary.

Don't think we'll get Green Goblin for a looong time yet.

If they do use Norman it'll probably be for Dark Reign. And if they do chances are they'll have him be his Head of Hammer self (possibly Iron Patriot) before he goes full costumed supervillain.
