As much as I love Aunt BAE, the original trilogy wins.
James Hall
the current Peter has had ZERO struggle
and for that reason, I'm out.
Austin Carter
>"the current Peter has had ZERO struggle"

I like MCU May more but we have yet to see MCU Ben
he's suffered and struggled plenty and to top things off the new movie ended with him getting his entire life fucked over and framed for global terrorism and a superhero murder
Christopher Reed
>gets everything handed to him
>never had to work a shitty job
>never had to support an ailing aunt may
Elijah Young
>framed for global terrorism and a superhero murder
I'm talking about the kind of struggle that everyday people go through that Spider-Man is known for
Jaxson Turner
OG Uncle Ben was an innocent victim of viole´nce, which was always the point.
Amazing Uncle Ben decided to tackle a gunman for no reason.
I feel the MCU made the right choice of not going over the whole thing a third time, but that still means it's slightly weaker.
OG trilogy wins.
Ryder Clark
The fuck you talking about. His uncle died literally the same way all the other Ben's died. He has the same origin story as the other's. Only thing is he didn't make himself a fancy suit before he met Tony, but he was still going around new york in his shitty suit. I forgot how long it was, but we know for a fact Peter was Spider-Manning around New york before he met Tony.

Correct answer
Carson Howard
I have issues with the OG Spidey films, but they nailed Aunt May and Uncle Ben. And JJJ, of course.
Brody Reyes
MCU Uncle Ben should be played by pic related and no one else
Luke Watson
Raimi Parkers are just unrivaled
James Rogers
What does your image have to do with anything?
Austin White
no, he should have been Mysterio
Camden Morales
He was swinging around New Yirk for six months.
Robert Stewart
OG Aunt May was an excellent, albeit older, character actress who did a good job with the role. Sally Field is an excellent actress who was just OK in the role, likewise Sheen as Uncle Ben.
Spider Twink's mom looks NOTHING at all like Holland and nothing at all like any comic canon version of Aunt May and Iron Manlet as anything other than a Sugar Daddy/Pedo to Holland is simply a fever dream fan fic fantasy of idiots and tween tumblrinas.
>Which one are you, OP?
Dylan Ward
Raimi Ben and MCU May
Aiden Gray
Wanting to fuck something because it's got a snatch is not the same thing as understanding whether or not she's any good.
Jayden Lee
Honestly it does look like one of those parodies of Hollywood cynicism in cartoons.
Y'know, when the average main characters get a movie made about them, and they all get played by generically attractive actors and any story depth get's removed in favour of mindless entertainment
Carter Johnson
Peter gets a nice, wet kiss from a bullet train after falling for Mysterio's tricks
Jordan Gutierrez
But we never get the impression that Ben left an impression on him beyond dying.
All of Peter's ideals and motivations seem to come from Tony Stark from what we're shown.
Liam Wilson
>But we never get the impression that Ben left an impression on him beyond dying.
And the other ones did? It wouldn’t surprise me that all the times Peter talks about “you ever seen that really old movie…” has to do with him watching movies with Ben.
Grayson Long
>It wouldn’t surprise me that all the times Peter talks about “you ever seen that really old movie…” has to do with him watching movies with Ben.
That's a nice headcanon you've got there.
Nathaniel Clark
I mean the whole climax of the first Spider-man is
>I had a father. His name was Ben Parker
And yeah, headcanons aren't filmaking user.
Lincoln James
dude's literally died, which is more than the others could say
sure, we didn't get ben's death onscreen, but we've seen it twice in the past 20 years, it was intentionally left out
Jason Nguyen
>sure, we didn't get ben's death onscreen, but we've seen it twice in the past 20 years, it was intentionally left out
I'm getting real tired of reading this shit.
Christopher Lee
>And the other ones did?
Yes? Raimi's Peter struggles with Ben's death in all three movies, and it's Peter's driving force in ASM1. Even in ASM2 when Peter's parents take center stage they still bring up Ben several times.
Jack Perry
MCU Uncle Ben has already been played by Robert Downey Jr.
Henry Bell
>yet
He's only sixteen wait till spiderman 4
Parker Rivera
>albeit older
even Marvel works crack jokes at how dogfuck old and ugly aunt may's supposed to be

>I'm talking about the kind of struggle that everyday people go through
That's literally what FFH was about.
Hell, every bad thing that happens in Homecoming is Peter's fault in some way
