Spongebob is the best thing to ever happen to Tom Kenny. God knows he wouldn't have made it doing stand-up

I've forgotten how old all these guys are. And yet their voices are still impecable after all these years of doing them

youtube.com/watch?v=3p9Ayu-5zYY this is better

I love how at 0:22 Bill was so careful to not break the phone

Spongebob wasn't his first voice acting gig, was it?

No. Johnny Bravo(I think carl showed up before the millennium) and PPG both predate it.

Rocko's Modern Life was his first real gig.

Kenny is in about as many things as Strong

I love how everyone looked exactly as I imagine Spongebob voice actors would look like.

Spongebob has been going for 20 years and most of these guys weren't exactly young when they signed on. I think Tom Kenny was the youngest of them and he was in his 30s when he got cast. Hell Clancy had a successful film and television career for almost 20 years by the time he even started Spongebob.

One of Rodger Bumpass' first VA gigs was playing Hannover Fiste in Heavy Metal.

He was Heffer on Rocko's Modern Life (his first big role) and also Dog on CatDog.

Or the jar .

That's kinda what voice acting was prior to the internet. It was a fallback thing for people like Rob Paulsen, Maurice Lamarche, and Frank Welker who didn't make it as either on-camera actors or comedians.

> Implying people care about Spongebob these days
Kamp Koral was the final straw, fans and people like Paul Tibbitt and Rob Renzetti hates this idea and it proves Nick are greedy scumbags who waited for Hillenburg to die to milk the franchise more.

What a bunch of hacks,

Not relevant to the topic at hand but when and why did they change the Spongebob logo?

I don't pretend to know a lot about what happens behind-the-scenes, but is it true Katie Rice is somehow related to Kamp Koral's creation? Aren't they just retooling an idea she pitched to them and giving it a Spongebob skin?

Elaborate, sounds interresting

I'm going to give 98% odds of this rumor having absolutely no basis to it.

He's been in hundreds of successful stuff beyond and before Spongebob. Not to mention association with alternative comedians like Bob Odenkirk and David Cross

Yeah I heard it from Yea Forums but the poster didn't elaborate much, they just said that Katie pitched Camp Weedontwancha as a series to Nick and for whatever reason they denied it but still ran with the "camp" theme and ended up making this.

they look dead inside
