>Seamlessly transforms from an enjoyable comedy to an emotionally provoking drama over its 3 season run. >Makes fun not about religion itself for the most part, but how people use it and the consequences of lacking moderation with it. >Had an ending that, while a bit rushed, wraps up Orel's arc concisely and gives him the fate he deserved despite what he had to go through. >Had 2 and a half more planned seasons that would've resolved the other characters' plotlines in Moralton. >Adult Swim Execs only cancelled the show after viewing the episode "Alone" and were genuinely shocked at how dark and down to earth the show can truly be.
I know this is a shitty troll post but has anyone else noticed more shitposts around these lines? Why is the whole jew conspiracy coming up more and more?
Samuel Lopez
It's a pity that there won't be any more. Now I want a dvd set
Isaiah Ward
>Had 2 and a half more planned seasons that would've resolved the other characters' plotlines in Moralton Where they ever planning on giving Stephanie a girlfriend? Maybe that other divorce housewife living with the fat one? I dunno what other woman in Moralton would be a good fit for her?

I think new users assume this entire site is /pol/. That's all the outside world ever talks about when discussing Yea Forums. One of these boards needs another "Boom" moment. For /x/ it was SCP, for Yea Forums it was Cal Arts, for /pol/ it was trump, for Yea Forums it was Habro Hotel, for Yea Forums it was Katawa Shoujo, and for Yea Forums it was Gamer gate. No one knows when the next Boom will happen but it better happen fast of /pol/ is going to overrun Yea Forums.

It's summer.

Adult Swim: we want it darker! Dino: okay, here's "Alone" Adult Swim: WTF, you're cancelled!
Fuck Adult Swim forever.

i still don't understand grounded. What did moral find out and is that what heaven is like for anybody who dies.
also wtf was that heaven and was that god and EXPLAIN TO ME
Joseph Hernandez
The point is his absence from church ironically gave him a religious experience which the others are too dim to accept even though it's what they hope for their whole lives.
Jeremiah Cooper
how tho. He died and ended up in a void of nothing
Colton Smith
Orel experienced an "afterlife" that is contrary to the dogma the citizens of Moralton accept and rely on. The real lesson Orel learned in this episode is that he didn't need to physically be in a church because he had what felt like a religious experience to him without one ("I AM CHURCH!"). Interesting you point out God though because during Orel's last near death experience we see a montage of clips that chronologically come after the episode (particularly the nature episode) with an appropriate quote from Rev. Putty "You think God can't see into the future?!". This clip however comes from the next episode so during a blind watch you wouldn't have known where this quote comes from. I think Dino was toying with the idea of the viewer being God to Orel's world, something hinted at in the opening when he smiles and waves at us.
Jeremiah Taylor
It's not an anti-Christian show. t. Christian
James Fisher
>Orel experienced an "afterlife y-you think it was a good afterlife
Owen Myers
I don't think it was an afterlife at all, I think it was the stress Orel was putting on his body and mind after thinking God would abandon him which is why he initially saw Heaven as a dark chasm. But the near death experiences did help him understand a building wasn't needed to have faith or believe. The biggest tragedy is that Clay beat this epiphany out of him because the mayor can't have his oldest son spouting off visions contradictory to the town's religion. Much like how when Orel learned to meditate as an alternative to prayer, Clay refuses to let Orel find his own spiritual path.

>Where they ever planning on giving Stephanie a girlfriend? Why?

This show has an episodes that actually satirizes racism rather than just saying "racism is bad, mmkay?"
Easton Gray
I love the focus episode for her where it blows out simplistic lgbt++ smuggery at the end (and without being mean).
Asher Walker
She's clearly lonely. At the end of "closeface" her dad ask to sing the song so they can both get lucky. Also her highschool crush went into her shop and rubbed her marriage in her face, so that's got to sting.
Shipping aside Stephanie is a good girl. She deserves someone who isn't a twelve year old boy or her dad.
Ryan Gray
At least Puddy and Orel care about her unlike the rest of morelton
Daniel Sanchez
Townie seasons would have been kino, but I'm perfectly happy with what we got in the end. Show literally ends with Orel happy and in a loving family because he stayed devoutly Christian.
The only appreciation I have for this show is having a collection of waifu from this show. So help this kollector by posting waifu
Jaxon Hughes
The episode with the Jesus wound still makes my fucking skin crawl, why did they think that was necessary?
Easton Cox
I was expecting a more satisfying episode throwing Stephanie a bone, maybe Dino had one planned.
Angel Perry
>wiggurellis fucking sweeping the streets happily heh
Elijah Brooks
Shows how religious people are indifferent to suffering if it's convenient for them.
Brandon Reyes
What is it with Adult Swim with fucking with shows and cancelling them for petty shit anyway?
Jackson Ramirez
Standards and Practices was already up their ass with the first season in Orel's case, them wanting to drop it is reasonable. With the other two largest examples it's Brendan Small not knowing how to play nice with executive demands and an old standby getting triggered at the new guy's politics. Both regrettable but reasonable actions from a business standpoint. Reasonable of course =/= right because fuck Heidecker but.
Blake James
Fuck off
Camden Adams
Yeah I fully understood the message but even in claymation the wound looked fucking nasty
