MCU is going too far

I think the MCU is out of touch and ridiculous, the Marvel movies were simpler before that.
Nowadays... Anything and everything is made.
We forgotten what these films are really all about, that's my take.
What is your take on all these?

you're retarded and can't even phonepost right.

Ah well, guess someone on Yea Forums didn't like what I had to say.
*sigh*

What?

I think you can understand me, you're just deciding not to understand me.

I blame Winter Soldier

Ok user, enlighten us, what are MCU movies REALLY about? And I give you bonus points for tying it up with Mayday pic you posted.

I think I understand what you mean.
It has become too big and bloated for it's own good and every movie feels like just another movie instead of something worth it.
Not necessarily because they're worse now
>Implying they ever were good
But because they're too caught up in their in-universe bullshit they've grown detached from reality, kinda like the deal with spodermon being stark's bitch boy instead of some piss poor vigilante.

The problem is the movies are designed to be forgotten about after the first week of premiering.

If you don't understand that in the first place, what are you doing here?

Ah yes I miss the days of Howard the Duck and Lundgrens Punisher, truely kino films am I right?

What's worse, objectively horrible films, that however are chock-full with their directors fucked up vision that they had fun with putting to screen or objectively mediocre films, designed by focus group testing and online data analyzing?

This is what we're missing.

This is what we need more of.

I rather take movies that are made with passion and talent and are good at the same time, embracing weird and science fiction elements to its fullest and not being a fucking pussy like most of the pre mcu cbm flicks.

$0.49 have been added to your account!

To talk about comics, not movies.

nigger, I hate nu-wars and most nu-disney properties, also Shazam was fucking good so I serve no arbitrary company.

The fuck are you even trying to say? Is English your second language or are you just retarded?

Yes, good job mate, I'm proud of you.

How ever... I can't decide whether you're fucking with me, or you're really stupid.

My take is you should learn to speak English.

My take is that maybe you should read more books.

The MCU is many things, many of them not good, but
>out of touch
is not one of them.
>We forgotten what these films are really all about
The company producing them is a publicly traded company, and was publicly traded even when it was just marvel (albeit a smaller publicly traded company.) It is, and always has been about making money, and preserving enough marketing credibility to continue making money safely in the future, and absolutely nothing more. The fact that it became more bland, formulaic, and "blockbusterey" with repeated success, thereby turning from a wildly successful penny-stock to a blue-chip in the eyes of hollywood-suits should be no surprise to anybody.

Did you write that out of spite?

Towards who? Hollywood suits? Marvel? Disney? Getting mad at suits for behaving like suits or publicly traded companies for behaving like publicly traded companies is like getting mad at the wind for knocking something down: it's misplaced and completely ineffectual.

>Using an ellipsis
Cringe

Picky aren't we?
Should I use sprinkles?

I don't like your nonchalantness about this.

>Sprinkles
Bluepilled

Fool, everyone loves sprinkles.

Without examples of what you dislike and using extremely vague and undefined words, you're not really saying anything.

You're like the politicians who essentially say "I like good things! And you do too! So you should like me because we're so on the same page! Agree with me! (just don't ask questions)"

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you could get a clue.

If you can't explain why you hold an opinion, the opinion is bad.

Nice logic.

and I don't like OP feeding into the dillusion that many people have that Disney/MCU are somehow a better brand of corporate giant that actually cares about its consumers. They aren't, and you aren't actually one of their consumers. Their only true consumers are shareholders and potential sharebuyers.

What makes you say that?

There seems to be an implication that the MCU "lost its way" and could somehow "find it back" or something like that. That's not what happened at all. An experimental throw-away project [Iron Man] wound up over-performing way more than anyone expected, which spawned copycats in the same studio. Eventually, there was enough data to move from "trying new things" to "this is the formula." This is the natural cycle of anything this successful.

I'm not talking about the MCU, the MCU can suck one, I'm just talking Marvel movies in general.

Give examples

No, either you're a fan, or you're not.

Well, until the MCU stops being a bluechup, there aren't going to be any non-MCU Marvel movies.

Maybe they need someone competent in charge.

There is someone competent in charge, doing exactly what he is supposed to do, and extremely successfully at that. Your error was assuming that what "the person in charge" is supposed to do is create good movies. That's a tertiary concern at best. At this point, most of the time, it would be an irresponsible move and a downright betrayal of the stockholders to try and make good movies, given its status as a bluechip Hollywood investment.

Now you're just joshin' me.

OP, that sentence literally means nothing.

No, you just don't know English.

Because you're a fucking stroke victim, reading what you're saying is giving me a damn aneurysm

Another retard whining with nothing to actually say typical of Yea Forums at this point

Maybe you're just too stupid.

Maybe if you learn how to read, it'd make sense to you, where did you guys go to school anyways?

Just give me Black Knight in a film so he can be in a video game of another mini series, god damnit

God that would be so badass.

My take is that you want (You)s.

My take is that I hope you burn in hell.

Cringe

Die fucker.
