Same thing as with the comic. Volume 1 ends perfectly as a one off and I love it but hate the rest of the series. Same with the show and the first episode.
Went on for too long. Same thing that happens with most stories, unfortunately.
Making a pig the fucking hero.
Also the ludicrous idea of a single individual being the absolute boss in every context. No politics, no organization, no factions, no culture, no religion. Just simplistic nonsensical bullshit that would never happen in real life communities.
How would you end a series about a zombie apocalypse? Either you drag it out ad infinitum or kill everyone off at some point. We all know which option Kirkman went with.
What do you mean? This show is awesome.
how can they keep this show so fresh season after another?
Killing carl
"Killing" rick
Too much daryl
Is this real?
...what?
What in the actual fuck is happening here?
Instead of Rick getting shot with an infected arrow by Dwight and then coming out into a warzone to talk down Negan and then stab him in the neck in the show Eugene defeats Negan by making exploding bullets.
The show became an instant disappointment the second they didn't have the balls to shoot Lori in the baby. That was the moment when I knew TWD would never do anything cool or edgy or even faithful to the source material. I was ready to drop the show if Negan didn't graphically beat in Glen's skull, and even then the scene was censored compared to the comic.
Fuck TWD, long live Crossed
His original idea ending wasn't bad with the walkers winning, it made sense since death claims everyone in the end but he thought it was terrible. Now I'm wondering how long Image has before they are desperate enough to be saved by Marvel or DC.
Will there be a spinoff with The Western Alliance?
make the walkers finally rot away. After all they are rotting walking corpses.
I always thought YMS explained it the best way (it's fucking 4 parts but it's also amusing)
Holy shit that deer looks so fake
I personally enjoyed season one the most. The apocalypse felt fresh and the main characters had some sort of goal and purpose to their actions. Plus the finale at the CDC was top notch and was a nice way of dealing with a question a lot of people have considered when it comes to potential apocalypse-level events like nuclear war or pandemics: do you want to survive?
you think thats bad
even with tens of millions of corpses shambling around, and assuming they can migrate cross-country, it would still be possible to create humongous traps for the biggest herds, and burn them up
the idea that there's still dangerous stragglers running around in an area that's been occupied for years is implausible
and what's even more implausible is that endless civil war would continue between the humans under these circumstances
its practically pro-state propaganda
lmao, wtf happened to their budget
looks like one of those early 2000s disney channel shows where every background is done with a greenscreen
So basically Fear the Walking Dead?
Guaranteed it went right up Rick's actor's nose.
Follow different groups, once out of ideas for those its time to skip ahead to a time where either the world has been mostly run over by zombos or humans have managed to get a hold of sitsuation but people are struggling with things going to the way they were or being outright against it.
Fuck Crossed. It's got a handful of decent stories, but 90% of the franchise is edgy bullshit.
It's not even a budget thing, it's just laziness - making green screen shots like that look at least moderately convincing is as simple as matching the lighting, but it's midday with harsh sunlight in the background, and Rick looks like he's being lit with a fucking reading lamp.
AMC got pulled by Dish and a lot of people got lost after Season 1
Compared to what?
TWD where 90% of the franchise is bullshit bullshit?
TWD being crap doesn't make Crossed good by default.
Like I said, there are some genuinely good stories: Volume One is pretty solid, several of the Badlands arcs like The Fatal Englishman and American Quitters are quite good, and I'd even argue the webcomic Wish You Were Here was pretty decent... but the overwhelming majority of the franchise is just crap.
nah he's a furfag and nitpicks stuff he's wrong about most of the time
