I wished he would train other younger animals besides just same looking pandas.

I guess they made them pandas to further flesh out the whole concept of pandas being inherently good at chi, but yeah. They could've just gone with younger versions of the original Constellations.

I mean, the chi ended up having the sole purpose of sealing a single villain. The show essentially explained why pandas can do that and also rendered it relatively useless afterwards.

it's gonna be pretty hard for whatever villain is next to follow up after Jindiao's performance desu.

3 did feel pretty hollow. Oh well, one and two are masterpieces so 2/3 ain't bad.

They're the four constellations of Chinese folklore (Blue Dragon, White Tiger, Red Phoenix and Black Turtle)

it's a play on chinese astrology blue dragon, black tortoise, white tiger and red phoenix, basically there the kids predecessors.

The animation looks a little better than Legends of Awesomess, but still nowhere near the actual movie and let's say Storm Hawks which did 2D-3D animation pretty decently, so did Poet Anderson.

Oh but the graphics improved tremendously, especially the effects.

It's a new series. Beyond a small reference to LoA you can easily miss, you can watch it without watching the old series.

Weirdly enough most CGI cartoons do animation pretty well, like Trollhunters. It's only Dreamworks and baby-tier shows which never bother paying for their animators.

It's good, we get cute pandas instead of diversity4. We're also pushing more pandas into cartoons. There aren't enough pandas in cartoons.
