No one talks about Old Man Quill

>No one talks about Old Man Quill

Because everyone gave up on Marvel a long time ago, slowpoke.

It's been rather boring. Waiting for it to end.

Seriously, I stopped reading this shit and DC almost a decade ago

I mean I really liked Old Man Hawkeye but Old Man Quill was unnecessary to begin with. At the same time we also have Dead Man Logan which also has something nice going on with it as well, and no one really cares about that one either.

So... they are all dead? good! the only bad thing in this comic was the synergy.

what's the twist?

>2019
>Reading Marvel

Why would I do that to myself?

this
not to mention old man quill is like 25 issues and a mini, ain't no one got time for a big extended version of this same old song and dance

It's revealed that all of the guardians were killed by the church except quill, who is revealed to have gone full schizophrenic and believed they were still alive

Is that Madam Masque?

Is this a real twist or yet another illusion?

I need to reread this then

It's good enough to merit a read but it is kind of dull

Quill has been hallucinating that he was accompanied by the (dead) GOTG for the last seven issues

see here boyo

Yeah, but that's a cliffhanger.

Lmao

It's kind of hard to care about the "old man" line of books.

Also, there was only ever one or two storytimes. Yea Forums won't care about a book without storytimes.

OMH was storytimed regularly but only got 5 non-OP replies

Huh, I only ever saw 3 storytimes.

I always like the old man line, I like stories that take place in hopeless worlds that just focus in on one protag making it more like a character study

Old man logan made one of the most interesting universes and I like whenever comics go back to it

I was one of them

i was there. justice like lightning!

For the record, I was going to storytime it because I did it for the first issues, but I also sorta forgot about it because it felt directionless. I might pick it up soon again and storytime it the way I used to, but I first need to re-read the previous issues.
Also the twist was interesting, but this is still following Bendis/Cates continuity so I'm not exactly too keen on it yet.
