Neil Gaiman writing a novel doesn’t make it Yea Forums

Does he uses his retarding rays in the movie?

Attached: retarding rays.jpg (1017x282, 142K)

For real?

And is not that back then I didn't know the DC character, but for some reason I didn't associate the movie with the character so I never thought on it as an adaptation

Attached: 220px-Steelposter.jpg (220x329, 21K)

it was an illustrated story published by Vertigo, you tard

Attached: Stardust_SC_GN.jpg (400x600, 85K)

It was a novel first, dumbass

> Initially it was released in 1997 in what is known in the medium of comics as a prestige format four-issue mini-series.
>Gaiman retains the copyright to the text and in 1999 decided, encouraged by publisher Avon, to publish Stardust as a conventional novel in hardback without illustrations

i genuinely thought that hollywood had the creativity to mash these two ip's together.

Attached: images.jpg (202x250, 13K)

And you didn't even hear of the several video games prior?

Yes. It was part of the Robert Smigel TV Funhouse shorts on SNL back in the 90s. Literally just Milton and Lumberg were from those skits. Every other character in the movie were Mike Judge's OCs.

yeah, i've heard of the 1999 pc game, but i never bothered to make the connection when the movie came out. i didn't play a lot of games at that time.

I thought it was just another talking animal movie

This one always surprised me.

Also not directly Yea Forums but I didn't know until Dark Horse published it that Oldboy was a comic book film. Technically the second or third comic book film to get an award at Cannes too.

Attached: monkeybone.jpg (318x445, 33K)

Attached: RCO005_1476417738.jpg (1041x1600, 452K)

It was fucking published by a comic book company, illustrated by a comic book artist. it's as Yea Forums as it gets.

I hate that movie.

So by that logic the very hungry Caterpillar is also a comic book

*I didn't know

The auxiliary verb (did) is marked for the past tense, the main verb is not. It is in its base form. When there is an auxiliary verb, the main verb does not need to be marked for tense, the tense is shown in the auxiliary.

Everything about you is terrible.

Beakman >>> Bill Nye

Damn straight. Bill Nye is unknown with Latin America, but the Portuguese and the Spanish version inspired many kids to become doctors and scientists.

Peak Van Damme.

Considering how often Monster at the End of This Book gets storytimed, I'd say storybooks count.

The comic was much better than action film for AARP

Comic book companies publish novels too every once in a while. Mignola's the Baltimore was an illustrated novel before it became a comic book for instance.

Such a good movie

Short of, you know, being an actual comic.

If you didn't know this was Yea Forums then you're legitimately an autist and not a real Yea Forums-fag. You need to get >>/out/

It's a nine year old movie, they could have been nine years old when it came out and still be okay to post here.

This is poorly written. Look at the length of that fucking sentence!

Oh shit really?

Attached: 3q28_8267.jpg (300x425, 35K)

Is this movie any good?

Not really.

In "Atlas Shrugged" is the second word a verb or an adjective

>mfw Shrek stole that song

Paul Zaloom went to my college and he was treated like a Rockstar, search Beakman UNAM

Same. Apparently the comic is darker than the films too.

here if you're lazy

I knew this was based on a comic because the comic author did Infinity: Outrage and Infinity people wouldn't shut up about it.

Yeah, but the plotline is changed a lot, and the book ending is way more depressing

I took a skim through that comic.
The sex scenes in the comic had hairy pussies while in the movie they're shaved.

Also the blue-haired dyke gets finger-banged at the end of the comic and has a heart attack and dies. And the other lesbian gets insulted by the hospital staff.
pretty funny stuff

And Alex Ross comics are really just picture books, this is a very grey area, user.

Ah yes, Mads Mikkelsen stars in "Quick, what IP do we have that's nearest to John Wick?".
