Yep. This wasn't the case in the 2000s but today US comics sell the best here. I think if we could somehow get piracy numbers though manga would be 10x more popular than US comics although American comics have only been easily available to pirate the way manga is for a couple years now.

They exist and have good sales but the consumers are mostly old men, the problem are not actual sales but the trend of worse sales almost every year. Marvel has the advantage of making movies and series but DC has just Bataman. Superman is in king Arthur, Robin Hood tier; everybody knows the character and the basics of his story but nobody give a fuck about his reimaginations and reboots.
