Justice League: Lois Lane: The Green Lantern:
Nice.
Thanks for the storytime.
>QR code opens to Brendan Fraser's imdb
Neat gag
I thought this book was cancelled
More normal that when they where the X-Men before the X-Men?
>94
Is that the proper legacy number?
>Sphere god
Shit, is this guy gonna have something to do with the inflation force from Milk Wars?
>galactic middleman
And I swear the Doom Patrol didn't use to fight so many cosmic corporate scam artists
>a-hole
So now they can't even say ass in a Mature Readers book? Fuck you, DC.
Here we go again.
No, they just took a hiatus so Way could stockpile a bunch of issue scripts with new co-writer Jeremy Lambert. They always said it was coming back
and more boring
Good first issue back, amazing art. Excited to see where it goes next.
To me, Wonder Twins is more strange and funny.
So what PR did Flex just set for himself there?
Was that 4 plates, 5?
I really, really like this art, I just wish It was easier to tell what was going on
OOF
Way is a hack
I absolutely love the new design of the negative spirit
You know they keep trying to sell me on how "weird" this series is but besides the art, they're not really doing anything that out-there.
People say that all the time you moron. There’s better things to complain about without being nitpicking like that.
Love this page
So does Way just have an inflation fetish
Thanks for storytiming.
>Way
And that's a no from me.
Dayum look at that kuudere waifu HNNNGG
>awesome cover
>actual art looks like your typical zoomer tumblr stuff
WHY
>Mikey Way
Any relation?
No. Someone dun goofed.
Your ass must be kidding. They LITERALLY had this artist on the previous volume.
Grant Morrrison seemed to have a problem with dada and absurdism, and Way seems to have a problem with corporations and pyramid schemes. It's just a different set of themes.
Brothers, former band mates in My Chemical Romance
Bumping as I read it.
Do I gotta read Milk Wars before going into this one?
Yeah, it's pretty much a direct continuation
>russel
Hmm decent re-entry. Harvey is hit or miss for me but he definitely brings a certain flavor to the story. Wonder if the format will continue as mostly self-contained adventures with some ongoing narratives as the B-plot?
>Fugg is Fugg
And that's okay.
What a bitch.
>giant orb God imprisoned so a crazy classic rock fan can bodyshame said god's orb people into distorting their natural forms so he can effectively harvest them in order to produce the stereo he needs to listen to his music
>not out-there
Come on now.
I can't believe cliff is fucking dead
Glad we're getting more Rita, I've missed her. It was nice seeing her in the show too.
He'll be fine.
Is this a reference to something specific I'm not catching?
I find it plenty weird but I sort of get this reaction. The original Doom Patrol had weirdness on a more...personal level? Like, it was grounded in the tragedy of how fucked up these folks' lives were instead of just throwing the Candlemaker and the fuckghosts at them without context. There was buildup to that kind of interaction, instead of this series where it's just THE GANG GO TO A WEIRD DREAM PLACE AND FLOORY CUSTARD NUMBERS SMELL LIKE GREEN. There was a whole arc where the gang tried to live in normality, I too.
I think that's what's missing about this new series, even though I like the visuals. Robot going off the cliff is a step in the right direction.
Wonder if we'll see Niles again
Don't worry, he always finds a way.
Damn it. I wish he stayed human a bit longer.
I love James Harvey
hopes he does more comics
(its odd that he barely mentions this on his Instagram)
Bump
