Huh. Guess not everything got deleted from the Forger's attempts at overwriting things.

Thanks for the storytime Norrin.
Nice, we are now seeing the Young Animal ads

It is kinda hard to care about these “epic” pre-new-52 references when Scott Snyder himself admitted that Doomsday Clock is no longer canon.

Referencing shit like this is just pointless nostalgia Member Berry bait since nothing will really come out of this. Just like every other pre/post-Crisis reference DC has done.

Thanks for the storytime.

Snyder never said that Doomsday Clock was non-canon, and the article/interview that said that had to be rewritten to clear things up.

>**Nrama**: So does this tie in to Doomsday Clock at all? Because we’ve seen the seeds of the Justice Society returning in Doomsday Clock.

>**Snyder**: Not really. I mean, Doomsday Clock really is its own wonderful, incredible story. The kind of light connection between them is just that, what Geoff and I talked about was because Doomsday Clock is kind of running at its own pace and in its own kind of continuity, what I didn’t want to do was bring the JSA back before he had a chance to reintroduce them as a concept in issue #10.

>I think that’s similar with other characters that he’s going to be using in Doomsday Clock as well.

>So there’s a nod to each other in that regard. I wanted him to be able to have the JSA as an idea, and have that first appearance in Doomsday Clock.

>But in terms of the continuities linking up, Doomsday Clock is a very special and inspirational book. We’re all amazed, I think, at how good it is. **But its effects are relatively self-contained to itself.**

DOOMSDAY CLOCK IS 100% NON-CANON

You're reposting the stuff from the article that was rewritten whilst spouting the same bullshit that was spammed in threads after said article was made. I'm inclined to simply tell you to fuck off right now, but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt.

>and the article/interview that said that had to be rewritten to clear things up
It had to be rewritten because Snyder is a fucking retard and admitted in an interview that Doomsday Clock was not canon and literally everyone at DC was ignoring it (which is a huge douchebag move since the comic isn’t even done). And then someone at DC realized what a fucking idiot Snyder was and made the website rewrite the article.

Just because they tried to lie and damage control the situation doesn’t change the fact what Snyder said. Heck, it is already obvious he meant what he said since Snyder is bringing back the JSA and Bendis using the LoS and aging up Jon.

>The Offer is made
I think you mean offerS, if I recall correctly this month's issues are gonna be full of Lex making many many offers.

Emperor Palpatine?

>Bendis
>canon
Hahahahaha

More canon than Snyder.

Last week we had on screen martian birth. Comparable to that, this is all very blah.

where else can you go after martian birth

Looking at the solicits and the design sketches featured in the YotV one-shot, some of them seem nice, (Jericho getting the new lantern ring) and some of them seem awful (Red Hood having to train some rookies, Ra's Al Ghul apparently getting tools to make the new Outsiders join him)

>t. Bendisfag
Fuck off and go dicksuck elsewhere.

Martian UNbirthing.

Could that even happen in a big 2 comic?

God I hate Snyder's unending bullshit.

>child OC

I'm still surprised at how many times Orlando's series has shown weird alien fuckin' and not many people seem to care either way.

cute

I honestly think Snyder just said it wrong, he just did a interview with syfy yesterday and said he can't even use all the JSA characters because Geoff has plans for some of them

This decade old meta history is bullshit imo

Damage control. Him spilling the beans and admitting Doomsday Clock was non-canon could have hurt DClock’s sales (which would be bad because DClock is one of their biggest sellers) before the book was even finished. He is trying to say that John’s book is “totes important guyz! I couldn’t even use some of the characters because Johns he totally has plans for them! Don’t cancel your Doomsday Clock subscriptions please!” to lie and distract from his fuck up of revealing the truth.

How could he say it wrong? How is a writer not prepared for his own interview about a topic that he knows is going to be asked? I mean come on, user. How could Scott not realize that he would be asked about Doomsday Clock in an interview about him using the JSA? And how could he think saying that Doomsday Clock self-contained to itself to be a good idea? Is he legit retarded? Or did he actually believe that he and DC would be ignoring Doomsday Clock and not get the memo?

look I don't think doomsday clock matters that much either, but it's clear some things will get reflection, more than just writers ignoring it and that book being in it's own world, which is what Snyder said wrong and why he retracted his original answer.

I think you are right but still. You think Snyder would have properly planned out a smarter response beforehand. Unless he really didn’t give a shit about Johns and Doomsday Clock and didn’t care to throw them under the bus. It ain’t like he didn’t have time to prepare for an answer. It was an obvious question that he he knew was going to happen. And I doubt the interviewer secretly had a gun pointed at him on the spot. So either he is an idiot or an incentive jerk. Or DC gave him the wrong info.

>Nix Uotan, the Judge of All Evil, inheritor of the Monitor Watchstation, incarnation of a writer and partner to Stubbs the chmpanzee is a chunk of Anti-Monitor
nigga wat
>Fucking Mandrakk and Dax Novu are chunks of Anti-Monitor
nigga WAT
>We have seen, on-panel, two chunks of Anti-Monitor smooch each other
N I G G A W A T

Okay wait, I just realised I spooked myself by speedreading. But god damn is the alternative not that much better

>THE APEX PREDATOR

Meanwhile Kryptonians can straight up 1v1 knock down SUPAH Celestials by flying through a bunch of suns. I guess you don't technically qualify as a predator if you kill off the prey too quickly to maintain a stable ecosystem. That or Snyder will reveal via Kong Kenan that Superman has absorbed and mastered the ki of the humans and has ascended to becoming a Super Human Kryptonian Beyond Human.

I fapped to issue one

They've been dabbling with nipshit so it's not outside the real of possibility lol.

Super Sun-ian 1 Superman. Super Sun-ian God. Ect...

You're being autistic user. Self contained consequences =/= non canon. Specially since Bendis already admitted Doomsday clock has repercussions in his book. You keep posting that interview and nowhere does it say that it is non canon, thats just you making the worst interpretation possible and still wanting to be taken seriously.

Well, while Snyder's reducing Morrison ideas to the complexity of Dragon Ball Super battles I can't say I'd mind him bringing in Superman Prime as a final form for Clark to take on APEX Lex

Is he the fucking Time Trapper now

I would never thought we could get to see maritan sex let alone a live birth so I feel like anything is possible.

Thanks for the storytime, Norrin

>Meanwhile Kryptonians can straight up 1v1 knock down SUPAH Celestials by flying through a bunch of suns.

When did this happen? I'm up for anything involving powerlevel bullshit.

Two issues ago. Jimenez even confirmed that it was homage to DBZ.

wtf don't bully amazo

Nice book.

This shit is weird and I don't see why they had to use Luthor instead of the actual scientist, Dr. Erdel, who brought J'onnz here. He doesn't need to fluff Luthor and Superman up, MM has his own characters.

2 issues ago? Why do you fuckers even come into these threads if you aren’t following the title?

>I can give you me
gay

It's cool to see Amazo.

I like seeing the Monitor remembered but I hate how they can't seem to make his position and role stick to anything. Every writer changes it and follow no rules, there is always some bullshit lair on top of another, some bigger bigger bigger bad...

The monitor's function and power level changes with each and every event no matter what

the more they try and milk this romance/son plot for drama the dumber it seems

Well at least now we have full official confirmation that he's a separate entity from Dax Novu and Nix Uotan

But don't you just love all the chemistry they don't have together?

What worries me is if him showing up means Nix is effectively kill as a character, although given Shilo Norman and Scott Free are both still running around it wouldn't be the first time DC let 2 versions of a character coexist because reasons.

The comic pretty much tells you that all the other Monitors, ie Dax Novu and Nix Uotan, were all splits from the original Monitor, and that he managed to combine them all into him again. So they're dead.

Some people are still kinda expecting Doomsday Clock to end with some big new status quo shift, which should have been obvious from the get go that that wouldn't be the case. It's the sequel to Watchmen FFS, it can't really be too concerned with what Batman did last month as it needs a long shelf life.

I mean we don't want anyone but Grant using those characters anyway. And there's no way they're off limits to him because of a Tynion comic

"fuck me J'onn"

This is why I really want to write a book for DC call The Monitor and it's a series basically exploring all of this and the aspects of the multiverse. It makes it kind of hard when they change it every story, but I think giving them a good, solid, system and back and function and role would help.

Plus I really like Lyla/Harbinger and Pariah, it would be fun to bring them back more.

I love this run

Robo Amazo is back huh? Man if there’s one character who I wouldn’t mind seeing get a costume update it’s Amazo.

He’s literally referencing the events in this fucking book you idiot. That MAKES them canon.

Nix was seemingly around during the wild hunt. He and classic monitor have slightly different roles

Grant is retiring from capes soon. So he won't be using them at all at some point.

I'm hoping that just like in metal he gets at least a one shot, specially given the scope of year of the villain and Justice-Doom War. According to Snyder, Morrison came up with some concepts integral to the run, like the multiversal justice formation

Wouldn't be surprised dc reboots the multiverse again. Only exception is Earth zero.

Thetre already ending Hypertime.

Meet the new 32.

Attached: RCO004_1553068438 (1).jpg (1041x1600, 580K)

Literally the opposite. They've just recently brought back hypertime and are now expanding past the multiverse into an omniverse. All past continuity is now on the table.

Synder said he is collasping it. Cry some more.

Final crisis, Multiversity, and metal were all events where the multiverse collapsed and nothing was rebooted or erased, in fact more was added. If by collapsing hypertime you think he means rebooting again you're just being obtuse or retarded on purpose, specially if you've read the rest of the interview.

bump

Shut up.

Its gone forever..

That is not going to make Superman jealous and lusts after you. Come on Lex, step up your game!

Is Mandrakk aka Dax Novu only aspect of Mar Novu?
But, isn't he probe sent by Overvoid?
He has different origin from Mar Novu who is son of Perpetua.

>Grant is retiring from capes soon
Source or just a general feeling?

Dax Novu was the first Monitor created once the original one started splitting into 52 Monitors. He wasn't the original Monitor himself.

Kryptonains were always > Martians anyway.

>This is my apprentice, Darth J'onzz.

He's been saying that since 2005 or 06

He says that every time

When did he say that?
