Was Sheep in the Big City a good show? I recall laughing my ass off when I watched it when I was 13 but I don't really remember anything about it.

I just remember General Specific and Private Public.

Yes
Like the Untalkative Bunny, it was funny on many levels so kids could enjoy it and adults too.

Only good if you watch in English. It’s one of those “lost in translation” kind of things.

The humour consisted of visual puns and word-play like as well as playful jabs at typical television tropes.
There was a minor character who was a robot called the Plot Device, who'd just show up to provide exposition.

Better than Cow and Chicken

>the ending finale
I feel like it jumped the shark a little.

it was really really good
me and my pals watch it from time to time and we still enjoy it

Early days of Cartoon Network was a breeding ground for some pretty incredible material and experimentation.

>Momma had a Chicken
>Momma had a Cow
>Dad was proud
>He didn't care how

I sill can't believe they got away with it

The scripts were pretty sharp. I loved the show for that.

There was plates involved and a soldier? I remeber liking it a lot too but i honestly can't remember even one single episode.

Jackson Publick was a storyboard artist for it, so I think that explains the Tick-like sensibilities

> First Cartoon Network show that is 22 minutes
Deserve more praise for that reason alon

The Swedish dub was great.

Trailer we all deserved.

GREAT SCOTT!

Nah, it's easily the worst Cartoon Cartoon

What the hell did they do for the ranting Swede?

I remember enjoying the mad scientist character and his weird emphasis on words

The world may never know.

that's not how you spell Mike Lu and Ogg

It's honestly among my favorite CN cartoons. Then again, I love stupid puns and sight gags.
Likely a ranting Dane.

It never got the credit it deserved, they were able to be more raunchy due to it not receiving that much viewership.

There was a sketch with a character named Penelope who had the most feminine voice I've ever heard.

How could it jump the shark when it ended?

This was absolute kino, meant to be and enjoyable for kids but easily as enjoyable for adults because of its witty writing.

Also heard Rocky and Bullwinkle was similar to this and checked it out and it was also kino. I wish there was a torchbearer for that kind of dialogue heavy witty humor on cartoons right now, but Phineas and Ferb was the closest

Rocky and Bullwinkle is trash.

It was alright.

I still call things clomes if they're a knock-off that misses the point of the original thing.

>Phineas and Ferb
pls die

>mad
>MAD
>FUCKING MAD

It's ANGRY! Angry scientist!

Johnny Bravo was worse. It was only good for one season out the four.

It obviously has its nostalgic fans, but it was pretty mediocre. Just light and cheesy.

I think I liked it back in the day? I remember the Oxymoron parts and the parts with the general and lackey in the sea base or whatever but that's it.

More like it was alright one season, actually funny the next two then dreadful in its last.

The main character just wasn't good and is as bland as he looks. Cow and Chicken was the worst, but this was in the bottom 3 alongside Robot Jones.

S2&3 > S1&4
eat my ass with a spoon you fucking vegan

I liked it.
Ranting Swede changed my life, I STILL get angry about answering machines.

This show is great and the joke pace is actually pretty fast for a kids show. I definitely liked it more watching it after I was older.

Baa-leted

Graham Falk is seriously underrated.
