The end. I hope you’ve enjoyed very impromptu JJJ storytime.

It’s such a shame a pretty good solo JJJ story was crammed between werewolf shenanigans.

That was great. Thanks OP

No problem. I got this comic thinking it would be fun shenanigans, but it turns out it’s just a pretty good JJJ story. Wouldn’t know it from that awful cover!

I came into the thread just to say the cover is fantastic, and here I find OP calling it shit.
What terrible taste for someone storytiming such a good book.

Thanks for the storytime

Man this was great, I've always loved JJJ because deep down he really acres about truth and news, also that "real heroes don't operate in the sunlight" speech could explain why he distrusts superheroes (well.. spidey at least) so much.

the cover is pretty silly but enjoyable, I especially liked that corner with spider man's face on top of his.

I like the book. Just not too big a fan of the cover. Otherwise why would I storytime it?

I feel like someone just played with photoshop on one picture of JJJ. Why not different wild expressions, or something a bit less “I don’t have an idea for this cover.”

Thanks Op.
Spider-man really does have the best side-cast.

I really want a older aimed tv serial just mostly straightforwardly adapting from the begining and through the years. Adapting the best Spider-man adventures but also exploring the wider cast of friends and foes.

Damn heavy stuff. And good too.

Does he not have neighbors? Or are they just used to him screaming?

>HRRRUMPH
N-Nixon?

He might live up in a penthouse apartment, so the likelihood of neighbors being there might be lessened. Also, this is a city overrun with criminals, not only super villains but regular gangsters. They might be afraid.

Penthouse apartments have downstairs neighbors. But I guess considering this is a crooked cop story it justifies them not calling the cops.

The Lobo Brothers Gang War is one of the most underrated Spidey stories ever though. The entire thing (of which the Chameleon/JJJ stuff is part of) is great... mostly. The stuff with MJ's bulimic niece is kind of eh. Given that Glory was one of the main supporting characters I'm surprised the '90s cartoon never tried to adapt it. Web of Spider-Man #55 (where the entire thing comes to its conclusion) is damn good.

Fuck if I had the issues I'd try and storytime the entire story some time.
