Is it good?

jsut tell me the gay stuff, is tom sexy as hell?

what was the song before the first end credits scene?

Very, started off not being sure but it really picks up

There's only one shirtless Tom scene if I'm remembering correctly but MJ is peeping on him while it happens

To be my boyfriend, or something to that effect. Forget the exact name

good to know
I hope I have at least fun with it
thanks user

did Osborn appear?

Best Marvel movie yet and best Spiderman movie probably ever

Were there any other villains

no

Just the 'elementals' and Mysterio

Elementals, they were holograms right? How long did mysterio wear his helmet?

Does Uncle ben get mentioned?
How much Tony stark wank is in the film?

You know you guys don't have to ask him anything right? You can just watch it for your*AIR RAID SIREN* ONE WAY, ONE LOVE *AIR RAID SIREN*

Attached: 1561951436531.jpg (1280x544, 56K)

Does anyone have pics or a gif of that skeleton iron man scene?

Attached: 1561845665311.webm (360x203, 551K)

Holograms and drones, wore his helmet for all of three minutes

Ben was not mentioned. The plot revolves around Tony wanking

spoopy

There's a suitcase with his initials and literally all of it

I said a pic or gif not a webm
>wore his helmet for all of three minutes
Hard pass, thanks for the warning user

That niggas lying lmao he has it on in most of his scenes

Was Mysterio really from another dimension or was that just a lie?

poster looks like an XXX gay flick

Not even close

Attached: Spider-Man-Gay-Porn-Parody-XXX-Men-dot-Com.jpg (700x982, 147K)

lie

barely

Hearing it's good after the sort of mixed lead up to it is gratifying. Did you like it more or less than Homecoming OP?

More. It's funny because it really comes across as more of an Iron Man story whereas Homecoming was, to me, very Spidey thematically and morally but everything about FFH was presented so well

Does the new suit have mechanical spider legs too? I’m curious if this is going to be a regular thing or just something the iron suit has. Is there wiggle room for Mysterio’s return?

It does not

>Is there wiggle room for Mysterio’s return?
hard no on that one

Really? Because it’s kind of his thing, master of illusion and all

It's pretty explicitly stated that he won't return. I can go further into spoilers but I highly doubt it

What's Mysterio's reason for doing all this?

Go ahead.

Pretty big spoiler
He worked for Tony Stark and invented the hologram tech before being fired, he and a bunch of co-workers were buttblasted about Stark Industries and want revenge

The central plot device is the pair of glasses that Tony gives Peter which has all kinds of functions like controlling drones in space and shit like that, at the end of the movie Peter gets them back from Mysterio and he dies, the glasses read his vitals and confirm

They're trying to build to a Sinister Six movie and want it real bad. I can't see them introducing a Spidey villain and killing him off when they need as many as they can to get their Six.

Just throwing it out there, but Beck has access to those glasses beforehand and planned you know what far in advance so excuse me for remaining skeptical

Go see for yourself, of course they could always be pulling a fast one but I really, really doubt it.

Peter also disengages every protocol, so he would have seen if it was somebody else's body

Remember when MCU got got Spider-Man and everyone made jokes about Tony Stark being Uncle Ben as if it was so out of this world retarded that it could never happen?

>They're trying to build to a Sinister Six movie

No, they aren't.

Thanks , i really need this.

He means the S6 in a future Spider-Man movie, not sony’s stupid standalone idea

if they're going to push spidey as the new iron man then they have more than enough time to build up a S6

They already introduced Vulture, Shocker and Mysterio, set up Scorpion, and teased Green Goblin by at least establishing the existence of Oscorp. So who is the sixth member gonna be?

God, fuck the MCU. If the MUH STARK shit worked it would be one thing but it doesn't, it just ruined Spider-Man and now two of his rogues.

Doctor Octopus is the most obvious one desu.
He's basically in every S6 run that Spider-Man has had

>wore his helmet for all of three minutes
>stark daddy
It really got to a point were the doomsayers got it right but now the franchise is immune to criticism and you can't point it out without sounding bitter. The Mysterio outfit actually looked great, but it's a pass from me. Maybe if they go Sinister 6 in the next one

Presumably not Sandman or Hydro-Man bc this movie sort of uses them (in a very different way).

Electro, Lizard and Rhino are a no since they were in the previous movies (TASM 1 and 2).

Honestly Kraven is the safe bet.

You just don't like it because they made MJ black, racist incel.

Remember when Based Marvel got the rights back, put out the two best Spiderman movies ever, and Yea Forums retards wouldn't stop bitching about it because it wasn't the exact same fucking origin story for the 187 millionth fucking time?

>Honestly Kraven is the safe bet.
Holland did say he wanted Kraven in a movie

Does Tom have any shirtless scenes?

Read the thread. He has one. He also has a pantless scene.

>we could get a Chameleon and Kraven movie
>they'll just fuck it up like Mysterio

Attached: bomberman fuck.jpg (980x654, 59K)

I mean like a description of his shirtless scene.

What is the post credit scene

He's getting changed into his stealth suit in front of MJ, she turns around as he takes off his pants but slowly turns back around towards him

>they'll just fuck it up like Mysterio
user the illusions were really good
youtube.com/watch?v=ZjgmrYLTk6c

You could get away with Rhino given how wrong and nothing he was

No, I don't and neither do you

MAJOR spoilers

mid-credit is Peter webbing around with MJ before news breaks that Mysterio had recorded a video framing Spider-Man for the destruction and also publically. Jonah is back and is play by JK Simmons

Second is a reveal that Fury during the movie was actually Talos and that the real Fury is up on a Skrull spaceship, in some sort of leadership position

might be Prowler since he was in Homecoming

Didn't they mention pulling Venom in from that other movie? That seems like a decent way to shove him into the MCU
Kingpin could be interesting too
The illusions are good as fuck and I expected as much given how Dr Strange was, but user was probably referring to him being changed to starkfagging

Only one of them has been related to Stark. Vulture stole from him but it was the Avengers as a whole he was pissed at.

>Didn't they mention pulling Venom in from that other movie? That seems like a decent way to shove him into the MCU

I doubt Disney wants to incorporate anything in the MCU from a film series they don't have any creative control over.

>if MUH STARK shit worked

Whatever they did with Strak, even the best possible solution would be shit regardless, because you have already decided that. Now fuck off.

No it was mainly Stark. It was because he was rich and almost ran him out of business

It's really kino. It left a delightful cliffhanger for phase 4 of MCU.

Why the fuck didn't they give him a wig? I should be happy but this is just wrong.

Attached: kekFFZ7.jpg (1023x767, 152K)

How many niggers fuck aunt May in the ass?

Does it set the stage for Phase 4 in any way or does it just act as an endcap to the MCU as a whole so far?

until the end credits it's completely an endcap

MCU is now focused on small arcs. So no Kang, Doom, etc

Sony is making a standalone Kraven movie in the Venom-verse.

Is it true that Spider-Man reveals his secret identity to the public?

he doesn't but Mysterio does

spider-man didn't reveal
Mysterio revealed it in public

That's the best way to do it after such a big one just ended.

>wore his helmet for all of three minutes
I fucking knew it.

Kraven never really worked with the rest of the superpowered Six since he's just a regular dude. And I wouldn't want them to do anything gay like what the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon did and make him a lion-mutant or some garbage. He can't run with the rest of the Six, so just leave him out.

>Kraven never really worked with the rest of the superpowered Six since he's just a regular dude.
You're saying this when Mysterio was a part of the team and the motherfucker has no powers, Kraven can wrestle with lions and shit.

Rhino is the quintessential BIG GUY. Kraven can fill that spot

>Kingpin
Would they use the guy from Daredevil?

Makes more sense, but still feels like a terrible decision for the franchise.

Mysterio has powers via his tech, though. Kraven is just "peak human athleticism and senses" and that ain't shit against someone with spidey speed, spidey strength and spidey sense. That was kind of the whole point of Last Hunt; he was only a threat to Spider-Man during like the first year of his existence when he was a 15 year-old kid with no experience. Kraven became a mort once Spidey had fought guys like Doc Ock and Green Goblin a few dozen times.

And when was the last time Mysterio was a threat?
I understand the point you're making but once you get past Mysterio's bullshit he's nothing.

For a while his robo-avatar was kicking ass through the ultimate universe. Even made his debut by tossing Wilson Fisk out his office window

Are the MCU references as bad as in Homecoming? Like, shoehorning fanservice and shoutouts in every single scene for the sake of it (Peter playacting as Thor, the Avengers ATM robbers, the principal being a grandson of a Howling Commando etc.), that kind of thing.

Not as bad, still exist though

kys fag

But none of that was bad

What was wrong the ATM robbers in Avengers masks? He's a marvel character in a marvel world

boo on that second spoiler. why the fuck all the character moments between them is for nothing.

How many countries did Peter and MJ fuck in?

>some people think of D'Onofrio as "that guy from Daredevil"
That's pretty sad

The real reason Kraven doesn't work on the S6 is color schemes.

Is mysterio not a villain? Is the multiverse stuffs real?

Maybe user means Michael Clarke Duncan

You forgot the part where the real Fury is vacationing on some Holodeck.

They really fucking recast jk simmons wow

No you fucking dumbass

Make him look different than the Raimi trilogy I guess.

>jk simmons is a conspiracy theories news
Fucking really

God damn it. What am I supposed to be hyped about for the next decade then? Fucking DC?

youtu.be/4eIq1b5vvk0

DailyBugle is now InfoWars because the director thought it would be a funny joke.

MCU always hated secret disguises

You're right you should probably just kill yourself so you don't have to watch great movies that don't lead to anything just yet

Fucking dumbass

It’s a rhetorical question retard.

Meh

This reminds me of a smaller scale version of the Star Wars sequel movies.

It bothers me more that the audience makes noises like idiots.

so same thing with the PS4 Spider-Man

On youtube there are testimonies of even worst incivility.

it smells Miles Morales "miles" away. they will introduce him in the next film and thanks to him Peter will be able to save his identity. In the ps4 he will be an alternative protagonist.

MCU can't into secret identities going back to the first Iron Man. Frankly, I'm surprised that they kept it up this long and didn't immediately make Peter a public hero in Homecoming.
Eh. It's cute I suppose but this really rules out Peter ever having a job there.

This is what bothered me from trailers. Spiderman will never show his face to even many of his team mates. But he kept removing his mask in MCU and introducing himself as peter parker.

Except JJ’s show in the Insomniac universe was still considered credible

Because in the MCU it's a bit stupid to do it when no one has a secret identity. Furthermore Peter tries to protect his identity in Civil War and apart from Tony and Happy no one knows his name. In Mysterio's case, he was probably naive, but it's Nick Fury himself who introduces him as a hero from another world and he trusted him. He's Nick muddafukka Fury after all.

In fact, all this mess is the responsibility of Skrull Fury that worked pretty badly. The one of the Ultimate comic would have already made JJ disappear
.

He opened his mask against star lord. whom he was battling just seconds ago. WHen he entered battlefield in End game. First thing he did was removing mask.

The entire movie is on 123movies, presumably what ever other pirate site people frequent, horrible Chinese copy tho

He did it in front of some aliens during a space quest. Not exactly the same thing as doing it in a bar in Venice, that I agree it was retarded there.

Found the movie underwhelming

why?

How sexy does Jake whatever-the-fuck-the-spelling-is look in this movie?

Attached: no homo.png (956x817, 450K)

OsCorp?
When?

Spiderman should not even show his face to even his team mates until they earned his trust.

What's Mysterios motivation?

Be a fake hero, be bigger than Iron Man

Hurr durr Stark called my holodeck technology barf, Imma grab some other disgruntled ex-employees and have my revenge. I'm not unstable, arghhhh! Here's that one guy from IM1 who gets that meme phrase about the scraps yelled at him.

Disgruntled and wants the fame and recognition he feels he deserves. The usual Mysterio stuff just with some Tony Stark sprinkled in.

Mysterio releases a video saying "Spider-man is Peter Parker" but doesn't include a picture or anything. It's still pretty obvious since Spidey appeared on Europe at the same time Peter was on vacation but I can still see him denying it next film claiming he's not the only Peter Parker in the world, doing some stuff like Matt Murdock's "I'm not Daredevil" sweater and then disproving it with the typical having someone else wear the suit right next to him.

>The usual Mysterio stuff just with some Tony Stark sprinkled in.
Nice joke.

Stop comparing him to 616.
In 616, at first only the FF are friendly to him, all the others heroes underestimate him or treat him badly. This is why he prefers to be a loner. At some point he try to become an Avengers, but he is rejected and then accepted only as a reserve. He ends up becoming part of Marvel Knights because they are all B tier heroes, like "him".

In the MCu Peter is sixteen year old and Tony Stark himself tell him that he needs his help. Peter enters the world of Super heroes and loves it, madly.

Not just 616. He is like that in every other iteration.
They could have made peter show his identity only to stark and main avengers. He dont need to do that to everyone he see.

You know it's bad when the MCU Peter Parker is a poor man's Miles Morales.

>Stop comparing him to his most famous counterpart and the most liked version of the character

Attached: 1557715355190.png (300x300, 120K)

How much influence/weight did Endgame events have in this movie? Did the characters talk about recovering from the Snap, Tony’s sacrifice, etc?

Exactly my problem with Daredevil in defenders, he looked so stupid with Danny, Jessica and Luke who were public and didn't even wear costumes

Yet he was the best part of that show

>flat lifeless camera work
>hammy sitcom acting
>unnecessary CGI
>YOU RECOGNIZE THIS (never mind we're destroying it lol)
>autistic fanbase

Why can't the MCU just burn down?

Find Talos and he could save Peter.

>stop comparing him to the source material

Attached: 1538894252822.jpg (480x362, 40K)

Because normalfags waste billions to be a part of "nerd culture"

I guarantee you that at least one asshole is going to say that he's based off Ultimate Spider-Man.

I hate when people try to pull this. He's not even like Ultimate Pete. Miles is the closest thing to Spider-Man MCU Pete will ever be

>”The chemicals in the water that turn the friggin' spiders gay”

He's deliberately a different thing. The other movie are not so old. And it makes sense to try something new rather than tell Ben's death three times.

The second game would be cool with two Spider-Men. Have Miles take over the stealth stuff since his shock thing is basically MJ's taser.

Why do you faggots always fall back on the "you just wanted them to show Ben dying again" argument? Spiderverse didn't do it and it was better received on Yea Forums at least.

hope we can play in coop. Would be cool

Was the JK Simmons mid credits scene good?

>just replace Ben with Tony
It’s kinda crazy how they’re “trying to make him different” by making Spider-Man into something that doesn’t even really resemble Spider-Man.

Normies always do

Except they've stripped the character of his core traits. You don't need to have his origin to make the character similar

>Spiderverse didn't do it

Well. except that Peter dies in Miles arms, that symbolically it's waht drives Miles towards the Spider legacy. Narratively it has the same meaning to spur the hero.

Maybe wait until he's in an actual movie before you cry about it like a woman.

I wasn't talking about symbolism, I asked why you faggots go to the Uncle Ben dying argument when it's clear that showing him dying is not the issue with the movies?

He was in Civil War, Homecoming, Infinity War and Endgame. How many more do you need before it gets good?

>Next movie features tech-based Chameleon
>at the end Spider-man agrees to a live interview with Jameson
>Takes of the mask on live
>It's a random black man

You’d figure Nick Fury, being the super spy, would’ve known the truth about Mysterio

I remember reading these things also for Captain America the First Avenger. Only after Winter Solider, magically, everyone started to say that even the first movie was Kino and Evans was cool.

In Avengers 1 people repeated that Cap was the most ridiculous of the crew and his constume didn't help him to be credible.

Cap was still Cap in FA his character didn't change the movie was just better.

>Civil War, Infinity War, and Endgame
All were 10 minute appearances at best.

The Nick Fury in Spider-Man is not the real Nick Fury.

He was in half of Civil War and Infinity War
Rewatch those films MCUck

Worked great in the PS4 game

He had more screen time than Cap in Infiniti War and has already had his own movie. So how many hours in until it gets good

For you, probably never.
For me, I have doubts about Homecoming, but in Civil war and IW he was great.

So what the fuck was this post about?

Believe it or not, I didn't write it, but I agree with him that you are a faggot.

>you can't make judgment until he's been a movie
>he was barely in IW and CW
>I liked him in IW and CW
Can't even keep your argument straight

>I agree that he hasn't been in a movie even though I liked him in those movies

Oh wait, there was a picture

So you're agreeing with a post that contradicts yours.

yeah, becuase they fucked up the characterization for Luke and Danny and no one cares about Jessica Jones

>Mysterio is a villain

This is honestly really fucking gay. Everybody and their mother knows Quentin is a villain and could see this coming from a mile off if they're even slightly aware of Spider-Man as a franchise. Imagine the fucking hype if he actually became a good guy in the MCU. Fuck you, Marvel.

Attached: 1557649773299.jpg (288x252, 24K)

The First Avenger is paced like shit, that has nothing to do with how faithful it is

The design is fine IMO, I like the stache.

the fuck is that crap second spoiler

No, that would be fucking stupid and would contradict everything about the character.

We've literally had a comic strip where Quentin became a superhero.

Also he's right, it's an incredibly boring and limp dick choice to suddenly maintain the status quo when the MCU has changed up several other origins and major plot threads.

Well no shit hes the leader of the team

Fuck off, Kraven is part of the original team

That's not what a rhetorical question is you fucking idiot
Underage is a bannable offense

>We've literally had a comic strip where Quentin became a superhero.
It was a fucking sham! Jesus Christ

We're not talking about his origin story, read more than the basics.

Dumb faggot. He's not a Flash Rogue for fuck sake

shill

user, literally EVERYBODY going into this movie is expecting Mysterio to be a fucking villain. It's not going to surprise anybody but clueless normies which are becoming a minority for Marvel movies. Everybody is clued up about these characters, and maintaining the status quo for this specific character IS boring.

Everybody on the other hand would have got a real shocker if Quentin was actually a hero and stayed like that. I'd walk away surprised, because Marvel actually did something unique for the first time in years that was good.

Mysterio: Master of Illusion, that's it. He is a villain that deceives people thru illusions and other tricks. Is it that hard to get?
Even my mom knows who he is and she only knows him from the cartoons from her time.

There's only a small minority of dumbasses like yourself who wanted "HEY HES A REAL HERO!" bullshit. Comic fans wanted, surprise, FUCKING MYSTERIO, and it's nice that we got him.
Yeah thanks captain obvious for telling me things I already know. Yell at the other user for being a subversion obsessed fucknut

Were there any big guys?

Attached: Bill_Wilson-0.jpg (716x768, 79K)

>Comic fans wanted, surprise, FUCKING MYSTERIO
haven't met a person who wanted the same "lol mysterio was secretly a bad guy all along" story for the millionth time. kind of like how nobody wanted the uncle ben plot thread retreaded for the millionth time and thankfully marvel skipped over it in homecoming.

Now you're just shiposting.

I'm agreeing with you because if I talk to that fucknut I'm wasting my time. Betcha he loved Captain Marvel.

Aw look at the casual not getting the point, as usual. We've told you MULTIPLE times; We didn't need to see Ben Parker die, we just needed him to be important. That's it. He's the driving force behind Peter's actions. As for Mysterio, imagine, people actually wanting the damn character? WOW!

Take your (You), you cheap whore.

No, I didn't. So well done on the retarded assumption.

How can ANYBODY sit there and say the most obvious fucking "twist" Marvel could shit out is good? What nigger wasn't expecting Quentin to backstab Parker as soon as the first trailer happened?

You know what WAS a good twist? Adrian Toomes being Liz's dad.

is it better than spider verse? is it boring like home comming?

>c-casual
No, I've been reading comics since before you were likely even fucking born. It's a tired plot thread and one that's paper fucking thin too. It's so obvious at this point that you could poke your finger through it.

if she weren't a nigger, probably yeah

I think what the wiki reader fails to understand here is that it's not even a twist, it's just what you fucking expect from Mysterio. You want to see him fool Spider-Man, and witness all the crazy illusions.

What are you, fucking M Night Shyamalan? God you're dumb and miss the point of nearly everything.

I guess that expecting the characters to be themselves is too much for some people.

Does the glasses read his powerlevel too?

kek

That's what makes the twist work.

Not really, I can't see Michael Keaton fucking a sheboon.

Wasn't the song Vacation? Or was that later?

This Mysterio isn't coming back, but he was working with a few friends. It's possible one of them could replace him.

So, putting Mysterio aside, IS there a multiverse?

Hasn't the MCU already been referenced as part of the multiverse in the comics? Other than that, no, there's no indication in the movies themselves that a multiverse exists.

Then again, JK Simmons is Jameson. Maybe he crossed over from the Raimiverse.

everyone seems really bummed that Tony Stark is dead but I dunno, I don't think we were that depressed when Steve Jobs died. Iron Man didn't even do all that much to protect world peace besides fixing the shit he broke himself, and the past five years he has been completely retired too, to raise his daughter

And then he sacrificed himself to save the universe. That's kind of a big deal.

Hulk brought everyone back. Tony just killed Thanos(after they were already winning anyway.)

Has the dinduing of the Skrulls gone too far?

>skrulls are good guys
>reeeeeee
>Mysterio is bad guy
>reeeeeee
Make up your minds, do you want them to follow comics or tweest the comics?

>He's not a Flash Rogue for fuck sake

You know what? He should be. Flash and Spider-Man are surprisingly interchangeable in terms of characterization, tone and villains.

Attached: Red Quipsters.jpg (1200x600, 166K)

>The movie begins with a shitty powerpoint honoring the dead heroes from Endgame (Cap, Stark, Black Widow and Vision) made by Peter's classmates, to the sound of "I Will Always Love You".
>The school year at Midtown is basically reset due to half the student body being de-snapped.
>One of the character is a ugly kid who was Peter and MJ's junior but wasn't snapped and grew into a handsome chad who is now in their class and trying to cuck Peter.
>There are talks about people scrambling to renovate expired drivers' licenses, update their IDs, taxes, etc.
>There are Iron Man murals everyone and everyone is wondering who will replace him as Earth's prime Avenger.

Does anybody seem bothered that Steve Rogers supersoldier disappeared and is replaced by some air force jockey who is visually absolutely not Steve Rogers?

Different people have different opinions.

>Raimi movies remain faithful to source material of Ultimate Comics and Ditko arcs (plus the 90's symbiote arc) but are entirely insular
>Webb movies go for their own thing with inspiration from Ultimate and are terrible
>MCU movies lift source material from Miles Morales and otherwise write Holland's Peter to replace RDJ after his contract is up
It is an absolute fucking shame that this was the one shot we'll have for possibly our entire lives at an expanded universe in cinema for Marvel characters and Spider-Man ended up being interesting and fine but not at all in the spirit of the actual comic book character. The Raimi films have their quirks and faults, but at least they're actually based on Spider-Man.

There's no mention of Captain Falcon.

That PowerPoint was hilarious. Best part of the movie. I loved the low-resolution images and cheap transition effects.

Nearly forgot
>Assuming Sony re-ups their contract with Marvel, the source material for Peter they're actually going to use is fucking Slott's Parker Industries and a post-Civil War secret identityless Peter, literally two of the three worst periods of Spider-Man comic history
End me now

>Trailers all around claim ''DUDE, THIS IS WHERE THE MCU JUMPS INTO PARALEL UNIVERSES''
>It's just another guy who is mad at Stark, who also made his technologies from Stark, that dislikes Peter for liking Stark
>Stark this, Stark that, Stark Stark Stark
>Anything that Nick Fury and Peter might have developed as characters is completely irrelevant because surprise surprise, it wasn't the real Fury
>You didn't think he was going to say that, did you?

It's not even ''subversion of expectations'' at this point. It's fucking clickbait, and Marvel will get away with it and they will finally be able to brag about having ''the most sold movie ever''.

Speaking of, is it possible for James Cameron to re-release Avatar again, after all these years? I'd watch that any other day over this shit

Attached: 1561512192979.jpg (492x449, 48K)

This is the deepest marvel movie amd even post modern.

If Stanley was alive, where'd they put him?

>The Mysterio outfit
I thought that was a joke of mixing Thor,Strange, and Ironman's costume.

It's not, it's the regular Mysterio costume with a gold chestplate, some scenes he's just in the green jumpsuit alone

>13 things to check before you date a guy named Peter Parker

There has not been an Oscorp reference in the MCU to date. Including in Far From Home.

>>One of the character is a ugly kid who was Peter and MJ's junior but wasn't snapped and grew into a handsome chad who is now in their class and trying to cuck Peter.
Wasn't that Flash's job?
I guess that MCU Flash doesn't even get to do that.

I think that guy is being a little overly critical of how little he wears the helmet in the film. He has it on for almost the entirety of the action sequences and there is even a bonkers illusion sequence later on that uses it a lot and re-creates some classic comic images. Now in between missions when he is talking to Peter and chilling with Shield he doesn’t wear the helmet. Whenever Mysterio is flying around in action though he has it on.

It's not even the best Iron Man movie.

At first I hated it, but it’s starting to grow on me. Maybe getting his identity revealed is finally the kick in the balls Tom Holland needed to become a more mature Spiderman.

Flash vs Sinister Six and Spidey vs the Rogues would be quite fun. Spidey vs Thawne could be an interesting "fight" as well.

Oh shit, where's Matt when you need him?

>his identity is revealed
and I guess i'm officially done with the MCU.
I like spider-man and all, but like after Thanos I was wondering how they were gonna top it.
Making Spider-Man literally just Tony Stark feels like a kick in the balls, and I don't really wanna be apart of that ride. So see ya'll when the MCU gets reset.

Night Monkey 2 Distant from Domicile is good funny book picture.

Movie has "maybe" Chameleon in it.

>Second is a reveal that Fury during the movie was actually Talos and that the real Fury is up on a Skrull spaceship, in some sort of leadership position
For what fucking purpose

I could see them using one phase for each of the more important villains, especially for characters like Galactus which absolutely do not need 22 fucking movies for his own big event.

Spider-verse very significantly did show Uncle Ben and mention "great power comes great responcibility".
It was two tiny moments but that's it. That's all anyone wants is to see is that Ben is the primary influence of Peter's values and motivation.

And Spider-verse wasn't even about Peter.
All Iron-boy could give us is initials on a suitcase and some very vague alluding to that he's dead.

What does he do?

Jesus Christ what happened to him?

Nah there's literally a picture of him on Madison square garden in front of everyone

Is there a Stan Lee cameo?

That phrase was so jarring that for a moment I forgot falcon became captain America in endgame, fucking
Captain Falcon

Charlie Cox returns as Peter's lawyer when?

Imagine watching this shit and thinking it's good
Those who do are either shills or just retards that will eat any shit Disney plops on their plate, like it and ask for seconds

>So see ya'll when the MCU gets reset.

Yes, user. You are so believable.
You will pretend to be another Anonymous and you will still be here complaining next week.
And of course you'll see some other Mcu films, in the meantime.

Were the highschool scenes just as bad as they were in Homecoming?

Last time, Keaton as Vulture practically carried the whole thing, and this time it sounds about the same for Jake as Mysterio. End credits cliffhanger is a nice touch though and I've been waiting for JJJ and the mass media to heavily factor into Spidey films again.

>I have not seen the movie, but I have already decided that it sucks, because my narrative is the only thing that matters.

Keep imagining.

I read the spoilers retard. Try your damage control bullshit elsewhere

Did Mysterio dieded?

>Reading spoilers is just like watching a movie
>so I can say what I want

My God you're so right. I'm sorry to be faggot.

I read it on Wikipedia, it's shit
How is actually watching it going to make it less shit and not make MCU Spider-Man into Tony's little bitch boy? Sorry you don't get my shekels, shill

>I read it on Wikipedia.

Yeah user. Go ahead. Is there anything else you want to tell us?

Shekels denied, seethe more faggot
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-Man:_Far_From_Home

I like the Mysterio scenes, they are similar to the Doctor Strange visuals.

I don't care if you fucks think it's good or if you have a phobia for Jews but I just want an answer to this question

He's pretty dead

Jesus you weren't kidding, I can barely make out what they're saying

What's your dick smell like?

to make the Peter-Fury relationship useless

It's vacation by the GoGo's

I am disappointed that Peter is exposed as spiderman. Even for him that's way too soon. plus him getting all this tech and shit isnt making him becomes his own hero.

The characters from homecoming were more likeable but expect some cringe when forced misunderstandings happen when shield and nick fury get involved.

I mean the characters that were in homecoming become more likeable not that homecoming was better in that regard.

Fuck off, quit trying to force Miles into fucking everything.

Worst part is that this is the spiderman the new generation will grow up with.

Eat shit, I loved First Avenger. One of my favourite MCU films.

>No, that would be fucking stupid and would contradict everything about the character.
Like Peter not actually caring that much about Uncle Ben?

>Comic fans wanted, surprise, FUCKING MYSTERIO, and it's nice that we got him
Shame about the whole "spider-man" thing

>I guess that MCU Flash doesn't even get to do that.
I mean, have you seen what the MCU Flash looks like? Wouldn't be believable.

JJ was also clearly a good guy in it, Spider-Man is just his mental achilles' heel. Jury's still out to see if an MCU film will have that grace, but we know what a Hollywood flick wants you to think of InfoWars. I mean, InfoWars deserves a lot of it but that's beside the point

No. Endgame is his last cameo.

>"New gay reveal SOON"
No new gay reveal
>"Please we're really trying to look progressive but we don't want actual gays in our movies, please understand!"

I didn't care enough for this film to comment before now like other people did. But if I had to guess, the Skrulls being criticised is because they were clearly villains from the setup, and upon watching, them being good guys makes earlier parts of the writing suspect. But with Mysterio, he's a known villain yet is introduced as a good guy. The obvious move to make is for him to be a twist villain. A twist so predictable that you don't want it to actually happen.
Then again, with how they wrote Far From Home, there's no easy rewrite to fill the main antagonist role, so it's not as easy a fix as the Skrulls at all

Attached: surprised_spiderman.gif (224x168, 981K)

Does Peter actually fight or throw a punch this time? Does Spidey's mask stay on? Please user

Attached: weeeeeee.webm (620x334, 1011K)

I feel like the people that genuinely wanted Mysterio to be a hero are people that were never a fan of the character to begin with. Personally he is one of my favourite VILLAINS and I would have been really disappointed if he had been a hero (especially since that would mean the real villains of the film was the boring elementals). Yes I saw it coming that he was a villain but I also went into Infinity War knowing Thanos was a villain and it didn’t spoil that film for me. I mean the first confrontation between Peter and Mysterio with all the crazy messed up illusions is the best part of the entire film and we wouldn’t have gotten that if he was a hero. Predictability isn’t necessarily a bad thing if the execution is good.

Don't ask questions you already know the answer to

They were talking about Black Widow you stupid fuck

What the fuck I just want to see a Spider-Man movie. Guess I will stick with Sony

Attached: 3a0.gif (250x250, 262K)

"Mysterio is villain" is not the real twist because all know his background from comics/tv series. The twists are from mid-credits and post-credits.

Is anyone else not at all excited to watch this?

Nope literally just you

So was Fury with S.W.O.R.D. at the end? Is that what they're implying?

Did the movie give tribute to Ditko since he also died last year?

I will watch it pretty soon.

I remember seeing his name in the animated credits at the end but I can’t remember what it said. It was a midnight screening so I was pretty tired and only half paying attention when the credits were playing. I can’t remember if it was a memorial or just a “based on the Amazing Spider-Man comics created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko” sort of thing but his name was definetly in the credits somewhere.

Homecoming also had Tinkerer in it, but he's not gonna make the Sinister Six cut even though he's already been established. Chameleon is Tinkerer tier.

I wasn't that hyped until I saw it, you won't regret it

did jessica drew aka spider woman show up heard she had a small cameo

When did Mysterio pretend to be a hero? He's always messin around, but saying this is his usual scam is bull, wikifag

In his first appearance he framed Spider-Man as a bank robber and then came out and tried to beat the “criminal” spider-man for good publicity. This story was also adapted for the 90s animated series so that’s where most people probably know it from.

When Vincent D'Onofrio returns as the Kingpin first.

there was a memorium at the end to both

how sexy is jake gyllenhaal in this film? no homo haha

i would have rather had JB Smoove JJJ than this

marisa tomei hot i would bang the shit outta her

No, The Eternals, and rumours say it's gonna be a gay Hercules

So there's no fuckery with E.D.I.T.H, right? The guy at the computer wasn't automating her voice?

It's interesting that the name can fit both Tony and Mysterio.

This isn't as bad as you think because Fury acts like a retarded asshole the entire movie and I honestly thought either he was completely a Mysterio illusion or that the writers and Sam Jackson just gave up on the character

They're turning the spiders gay

Skrulls being good is setup for characters like Hulkling.

I'm not seeing the resemblance.

>just came back from the theater
god damn that was epic

Attached: far-from-home.jpg (681x383, 83K)

Why doesn’t MJ have red hair in these movies? It would be such an easy thing to do and would go a long way in making her feel more like the character we know without compromising the new personality they have given her. I get that they wanted the surprise element in the first one (which is stupid imo they should have just called her Mary Jane instead of doing the whole “it’s Micheal Jones” thing but whatever) with this one though they could have had her dye her hair before the trip or something. I know it’s only a small detail but it just annoys me.

Attached: F0A3DC51-B1D6-46E1-BC78-75447E35691E.jpg (3000x3000, 1.92M)

Because she's not Mary Jane, just like Flash isn't Flash, or Ned, Liz, Betty, etc.

She will in the next movie, they have yet to even call her by her first name

> I know it’s only a small detail but it just annoys me.
What should annoy you is the fact that they swapped a hot white redhead model perfection of a woman for a negro for no good reason.

there's a scene of him shirtless, another with in boxers, and also his ass looks great in the new suit

what was the after credits scene if there is one?

what were they?

Fury and Hill are driving, they turn into Talos and some other Skrull in the car. Talos gets a phone call from real Fury who's on a hologram beach vacation. He terminates the hologram and walks out onto a spaceship full of other skrulls telling them to get back to work and asking where are his shoes.

That Mysterio sequence was the highlight of the film for sure.

>they kill off my boy JG
That’s sucks

I feel the movie tried to do too much and most of it felt half-assed.

Why did people expect this movie to follow the source material when it's been established as a completely different entity since Civil War?

>computer man's vendetta against stark was just because stane yelled at him
Literally not even Tony's fault lul.

He was great, but you know they'd only ever be able to get him for the one film.

At the opera

He punches Mysterio in the face and breaks his helmet

They did the same thing in the comics for a while. Did you just forget about JJJ's stint running the Fact Channel?

it's a good way to modernise him since print media is dead

Please read a comic. JJJ literally did this in the comics, too.

Attached: e225a55e6ceae5de542e50b5d06595c0.jpg (652x1024, 174K)

>Spiderman will never show his face to even many of his team mates.

You should probably try actually reading a comic sometime.

Attached: RCO016.jpg (1041x1600, 458K)

>Slott

Calling Bendis Avengers a comic is a bit of a stretch

it didnt bother me.
im not racist tho.

He accidentally punches Flash at one point

Who was Nick hanging out with (in space) in the post credits?

Watch the post credits. Those were those shapeshifter aliens acting as proxies for Fury. Fury is busy on another project (building something in space).

I liked it a lot, the only scene that didn't sit right with me was Mysterio revealing the ruse to his colleagues. I have never seen such a blatant exposition dump in a film in fucking EONS. Aside from that the movie was pretty entertaining. The Iron Man wank was a bit annoying but it didn't detract from my overall enjoyment.

Agreed. That scene seemed really forced but the 360 was used to good effect though.

Is Mysterrio a Villian

also is he treated like a joke villian like some other incarnations of Mysterio

Mysterio is a villain, and a pretty threatening and competent one once you get past the fact that he's basically a high-strung director.

>FFH poster looks gayer than the actual Gay porn parody

Oh yeah, the leadup to it was fucking fantastic. It reminded me of the Truman Show where they're all fucking estatic they got the performance they wanted even though they just blatantly emotionally manipulated a vulnerable individual. Good shit. It's the long-ass speech right after that soils it. Why the hell did the writers feel so compelled to dump ALL of Mysterio's exposition in that one scene? It doesn't even make sense, especially since all his colleagues know this shit about him anyway.

They really should STFU about that, they made a huge deal about a gay character in Endgame and it just ended being one of the Russos having a small cameo where he talks about his boyfriend.

Also the whole thing with LeFou in Beauty and the Beast, people need to realize that Disney will never deliver.

Yeah, that bit was kind of gratuitous, and it just kept going.

excellent. thank you for the info heir user

The Skrulls.

Just because it's deliberate doesn't mean it's not pants on head retard, retard.

probably just garbage they wanted to get out of the way. spend too much time on it and people will read into it too much and screw up pacing

>The Skrulls
any idea what this is a hint towards?

Maybe kill yourself?

I liked that it had another /ss/ bait scene with peter.

The moment that happened I knew Yea Forums would be all over it

Because they're mindless shills who defend any shit Disney throws at the wall. These drones don't give a fuck about remaining true to the source material. As long as their god is making money they're happy.

I honestly couldn't believe it.

>highschooler
>shota
pick one

SWORD.

There’s going to be a scene like that in every movie with peter, calling it now.

>wore his helmet for all of three minutes
lol what he had it on for a majority of his scenes. especially when he's "fighting" the elementals.

Best MCU villain since Thanos, prove me wrong.

Attached: Mysterio-700x500.png (700x500, 184K)

His mask is on for quite some time actually

oh my god grow the fuck up you literal man child

He was fucking great, Gyllenhaal oozing sappy melodrama for the first part of the film was awesome. He did equally great as a spoiled, preppy dude after that.

So was the stark at tony’s Funeral a skrull as well?

I got so giddy when he started using the illusions on Peter. It felt right out of the comics.

the illusions were everything i hoped for and more.

Attached: 1540185408979s.jpg (250x250, 8K)

The first illusion scene was fucking fantastic, it honestly felt straight out of a Raimi film if he ever took on Mysterio as a character. Even zombie Stark (For all the Iron wank MCU Spidey entails) fit into that comic-horror vibe Raimi did super well, I loved it.

I hope they can somhow make his death an illusion. they need to find a way to bring him back

>Earth’s prime Avenger
You mean Cap?
Or maybe if we consider who was leading the avengers for 5 years when the world was in disarray and everyone including stark gave up, Black Widow?

cool. tie ins for guardians ft Thor and new Captain Marvel

yeah seriously. That pissed me off so much. Like, you keep Vulture alive, who's already redeemed and not really evil anymore, but kill off Beck? Guess they're not doing Sinister 6 afterall I guess, otherwise that was a big mistake

The asian chad was really hot

I liked that Mysterio's mo-cap suit still kinda had a fishbowl on it

t. NPC who has no restraint and is driven by sunk cost fallacy

Does JJJ reveal Peter's identity?

Yes.

How exactly does Mysterio die? I've heard conflicting reports.

The glasses which he HAD AND MODIFIED said there was no illusions. I Guess he dead then

I loved him as a high-strung movie director after the reveal. And the fucking illusion sequence was amazing. I wanted more.

Any notable deleted/altered scenes other than the restaurant fight?

Well they did have his guy take a hard drive and, while that may have just been to blow Peter's identity, it's feasible that they'll just make a new Mysterio.

gets shot by his own drone and succumbs to the wound

Jake was fucking phenomenal as him, though. Wouldn't be the same.
I saw it today, and honestly it happened so fast I couldn't tell, either. I think he shot himself while trying to shoot Peter I could be wrong though, it didn't seem like Peter did

He gets shot in the crossfire by one of his own drones while fighting, then dies pitifully after trying one more illusion to kill Peter. Peter sees through it and lives (by catching a cloaked bullet) because of spidey senses.

I'm near positive Mysterio's death was a jape. If he really wanted to win the battle on the bridge, he would have made whatever security protocols Edith had super tight so Peter could never access it. But instead he just logs back in no problem. Mysterio was already intimately familiar with Edith's protocols and commands, especially after integrating it into his suit. So much so, in fact, that it's literally what him (Or his team) uses to frame Peter after his supposed death. Assuming the public eats up the story (Despite whatever they're informed of because le Alex Jones fake news or whatever), what better way for him to come back than as a martyr risen from the dead despite all odds? The ultimate ruse.
And that's ignoring the previous S6 buildup in Homecoming. I'd be more surprised if Mysterio DIDN'T come back if anything.

Attached: 15406836691252.jpg (122x115, 5K)

There were quite a few really big guys, but they were holograms the whole time

>spidey senses
*Peter Tingle

I think you mean Peter Tingle

>a double fakeout death

I could see Beck doing that but I doubt they'll actually do that. Jake probably didn't want to come back again.

US and Europe have a different cut. The US version doesnt show his face it just cuts to Pete going WHAT THE F..

Jake's too much of a legitimate "passion project" actor to be tied down to a Marvel contract, so I'm guessing that's probably why they had to waste him.

I'm hoping it's as said, though, and he's kekking it up at exposing Peter's identity in a safehouse somewhere.

Yeah, surprised nobody picked up on it!

Raimi JJJ coming back for this was so dope

shes literally michelle jones. Thats her name through the first film

That's what I thought, but none of the normies and fake nerds in my theatre got it. Most of them were too busy talking about how JK Simmons was in the original trilogy or how Mary Jane is a redhead in the comics to try and impress their friends using their wikipedia knowledge.

>MCU JJJ Not Terry Crews
Sad IMO

Attached: ChlaQCRXEAAGNC_.jpg (381x509, 33K)

Literally just saw it. Pete fights all the drones with his eyes shut. He webs one of the last drones and slams it against the wall. during this the drone is firing and a couple bullets hit Beck.

I mean this is objectively true considering Thanos was the villain in the movie prior to this one.

I thought that was the hologram Beck? he got shot by the handgun, not the drone

What's with all the regards going OHHHHHHH in this video? Do Americans really act like this at the cinema? Jesus fucking Christ

Both had the shot wounds in the same places across the gut.

>implying majority of normies know jack shit about comics outside of what they see in the movies

So after he gets shot across the Gut is when he cloaks and puts a holo in his place. Hence when he shoots Pete he has the shot wounds.

Some fucking normie sat near me was complaining during the credits that they fucked up Mysterio as he wasnt a sorcerer like in the comics.

I don't know what version you saw but the one I watched in New Jersey today showed his face.

reaction was specifically to J. K. Simmons reprising his role as JJ Jamison

The illusion bits were really amazing. Like, they just went batshit insane. Spidey orgy, Stark zombie, fakeouts everywhere. Really loved how Beck had a fishbowl helmet on even in the mocap suit.

There was a leaked one a couple days back that I watched and it had no shot of Pete at all! was probably a asian country rather than US sorry

I have no doubt he would have done great. But even in an Alex Jones-lite shell, Simmons was a perfect Jameson. I hope we see more.
A personal favorite of the illusion scene was when Peter was trapped in a snowglobe that turned out to be Mysterio's helmet. Tight as fuck transition.

The fishbowl edith mod was cool!

I fucking lol’d in the theater. I actually didn’t realize it was the same actor at first. Maybe because he’s old and bald now.

As good as it is to have J.K. Simmons back, I cringed. I'm sick of the one-sided culture war.

It really is that bad. I've stopped going to the movies because of it, plus you can watch the movie better at home, pause for bathroom breaks or whatever when you want anyway.

does anyone have a webm of mysterio using his illusios on spiderman in the first round

....they literally mentioned zero things relating to real life culture. It was a subtle reference, he was inspired by Jones, not exactly like him. Take a chill pill, not everything is political.

the webm of zombie stark posted earlier in the thread

i meant the whole scene but thank you

if someone has webm of spiderman in mysterio's snowglobe of emotions, that would be cool

I’m a fake fan, are there any Spider-Man stories from the comics I should really check out? I like comics but there’s a lot out there.

Ultimate Spider-Man is good

>Can't even remember the Skrulls' names
Fuck's sake.

I feel like it would be great if they actually keep it ambiguous if he really faked his death, or his team is just using him as an illusory figurehead, but that would be hard to pull off for very long.

Do we get to see any of Aunt May's fine ass?

Yes, it was very prominent in one scene.

There's one thing that was confusing to me. For the first three "Elementals" what was Mysterio and his team using? Like did they have access to some of Stark's drones already and just wanted more, did they have their own more primitive custom models? I feel like we never got a chance to see them.

yep, she wears a nice pair of tight jeans when she picks up peter at the airport (end of the movie)

This movie kind of sucked.
Mysterio was cool.
There was a lot of filler, it really didn't need to be over 2 hours long.

>parker breaking down on the plane
So fucking good, too bad it leads directly into muh stark. I really, really wanted to see some PTSD Parker, slightly traumatized from the fighting in Infinity War. Dude is a teenager, surrounded by different people and aliens fighting other aliens to the death, has to turn on kill mode, still gets swamped and is literally cowering while everything around him is getting bombed. I wanted to see how that all affected him but it was all muh stark

the bald guy with the glasses designed the drones in the first place so they had enough for small scale illusions (size of san marco square in venice for example). they just used edith's drones to increase the scale of mysterio's illusions to make city wide illusions

peter canonically masturbates

Mounted projectors, like the one MJ found. The drones increased the scope and flexibility of the holograms.

616 version has sucked shit for decades.

I'm afraid they'll mutate Kraven like the cartoons did.

He is a man with the powers of a spider, driven by a sense of responsibility

Yeah, all those mysterio fans who love seeing his character completely changed would be hyped, you fucking dunce

I loved how Mysterio spent plenty of time with the fishbowl on, and then the rest in a fucking mocap suit

Attached: 1524972554280.jpg (319x294, 19K)

Crap, I know there was some version that did have him as a sorcerer and I can't remember it.

t. havent read shit at all. MCU so-yboys are fucking braindead

I fucking loved Mysterio's theme. It transitioned from heroic to sinister so seamlessly, even had some Strange influence. It was great. Elfman's score for the Raimi films will always be more iconic but all things considered I thought Giacchino did a great job with the film.

Attached: 1557753273400.png (800x450, 383K)

No, he's kinda right. Slott Spidey did suck 90% of the time.

Ultimate Mysterio seemed like he was a sorcerer but then it turned out to be 616 Mysterio using a sophisticated robot dummy.

Kinda wish he donned the old fishbowl outfit for the final fight against Peter, though, desu.

>t. havent read shit at all
Not that user but this board has been complaining about the direction of Spider-man comics since The Other.
Off site people have been bitching about the direction of Spider-man comics since Clone Saga.

The mocap suit still has a neckpiece which forms a holographic fishbowl heads up display.

the death in this movie is an open-ended one. If Jake wants to come back, then they will say it was an illusion. If he doesn't, Mysterio's story ended here.

Now I want to see old set leaks that are JG in what we assumed would be CGed out clothes but nope

So shield back or is fury leading a new organization?

Just came back from watching it. So Beck died from that one drone that accidentally shot him? I didn't quite catch how he died.

SWORD

>S. W. O. R. D is now a thing in the MCU
Where will this lead to?

more movies set in space

What kind of underwear does Peter Parker wear in this movie

I read that Jake actually insisted on wearing the real costume as often as possible.
Like there were a bunch of scenes were he could have worn normal civvies, but he went with the costume.

How much longer til we get /ss/ art of the blonde chick telling Peter to strip.
>Two blonde older ladies between two films back to back
It’s like Disney found out about it

Or better yet art of Aunt May talking about how stiff he is and his Peter tingle

Attached: 6B35F28C-E6CC-4A55-821D-53C5A8458645.jpg (192x263, 6K)

Mysterio's glasses tell him "the drones near you aren't firing because they're too close and might accidentally hit you", Mysterio screams "HAVE THEM FIRE ANYWAY", one of them hits him.

Just came back from watching it here in LA. They showed his face.

Just saw it. Holy FUCK can we talk about the Mysterio illusion scene. It is literally everything you could ever want from a Mysterio scene.

Attached: 1531922082012.png (869x925, 2.14M)

Alex Jones is balding so to make his caricature completely balding on the crown makes him look more ridiculous. Remember, bald = funni among cinema tropes.

Say what you want about MCU's portrayal of Spider-Man, but they're 2 for 2 when it comes to his villains. Kinda excited for how will they handle Scorpion(or other villains if there are others) in the 3rd one.

>there's no indication in the movies themselves that a multiverse exists
Except the very nature of time-travel in Endgame means the multiverse has to exist, because they kept making alternate timelines.

A stark-made super computer confirms that he is absolutely, 100% dead. But then, this is Mysterio, MASTER OF ILLUSIONS, we're talking about so I'd take that with a grain of salt.

Alternate time line but same universe

Think dragon ball z/super

He is wearing a dome for most of the second half of the movie.

OK, but within the context of Marvel, "alternate timelines" are themselves their own universes. They get their own Earth-##### designation. It'd be silly to think that that wouldn't be the case for the MCU when they've already shown that time travel works in the movie universe the same way it does in the comics.

So who uploaded Beck's recording then?

The computer guy (I think he's the one who couldn't BUILD A SUIT IN A CAVE. WITH A PILE OF SCRAPS), you see him pull out a flash drive right after Mysterio kicks it

> it's gonna be a gay Hercules
Its isn't him, its gona be Eros.

Close to nothing, working for SHIELD and escorting.

it was fun

Both Hercules/Gilgamesh and Eros should logically be bisexual.

CG artists were clearly having a lot of fun with that too. If not perfect it was damn close to it.

>you're just a kid in a onesie

what a great scene

Better that Spiderman 2????

weird that the iron spider in new york scene was purely for the trailers

user, this is Spider-Man 2

They cut it.

that part where the marching band got unblipped in the middle of the basketball game was great

with all that iron spider CGI. that's an expensive scene to cut

>Peter Tingle
I feel like them calling it this even during climatic scenes is the perfect demonstration of how little respect for the source material there is in these movies.

Attached: 1493698027890.jpg (1252x843, 254K)

Have you been keeping up with the comics? because holy shit.

>when Mysterio gets shot by the drone he ends up in the same position as the fake hologram Mysterio
>Mysterio then stands up perfectly fine when he tries to shoot Peter
>somehow he recorded that message during the hallway fight even though it doesn't seem possible, in the footage on the news there's no fight sound effects, and nothing behind Mysterio when you can see the hallway in one shot meaning he likely recorded it after he 'died'
Did anyone else notice this?

he's been bald for over 20 years

>Florida Man Corrects Internet Dumbass
You're fucking blind.

It's also something that Mysterio had unlimited access to for days and that he never gave confirmation to give back administrator control to Peter.

Entire restaurant trailer scene with cops not in the movie

You don’t have to retell Uncle Bens death, just have it referenced in dialogue or something like that he lost 3 father figures his Dad, Ben and Tony and just show that Ben was the reason Peter wanted to be a hero and got in contact with Tony

There should've been more gravestones, I guess Uncle Ben doesn't exist.

goddamn it they did turn iron man into uncle ben. Fucking hell.

Alpha Flight

Attached: carol 3.png (368x368, 192K)

Neither was the scene where Peter Parker Picks up his Passport.
They skimmed right past NYC after explaining the blip.

Gerry Conway run is aaahhreal good.

so did they explain why iron spider is out? his new suit is called the "upgraded" suit but it doesn't seem like it can match up to nanotech

Yeah, it's trivial but bothers me. Not even once did Peter say "Spider-Sense", not even "It's called Spider-Sense, Aunt May".

Wait.. the fuck?

Just got out

Its enjoyable but it didn't feel like Spider-man, hell it didn't feel like a Marvel movie either. Comparatively its quite different in tone and pacing. They must have gone with completely different scriptwriters and directors. What bothered me most was how cavalier Peter is about opsec. He's far too casual with his facemask, talks about missions in public places where he is easily overheard (like in a busy bar) and fiddles with new tech on a bus he is sharing with his classmates. Its mindboggling that no one heard him talking about he is Spider-man only 2 feet away. They really should just have this Peter be public about his identity.

I'm also not a fat of MJ. She really, really doesn't sound like a real person. She talks like a cartoon character or anime tsundere girl. Its hard to tell why Peter likes her.

There is a suitcase labbed BFP.

>ACDC's Back in Black played in both the first and last movie of MCU's Infinity saga
>Both first and last movie of Infinity saga ended with respective heroes' identity being revealed to the public
>Both movies' post credits scene involve Fury
POTTERY

>Avatar
Two shits don't make a diamond, user.

I really hope they don't turn Alpha Flight into Carol's supporting cast in the movies. Let them stay the Canadian team.

Abagail Brand, Secret Invasion, etc.

Man the post-credit scene was fucking weak. Other than JJJ coming back everything else was weak

Peter copying Captain America wielding Mjolnir was a nice touch.

The MCU post credit scenes have gotten weaker and weaker. I don't know why they keep disregarding or outright abandoning perfectly good marketing/hype time.

Because after FFH they want a pause. So they can't hype movies that are not even in real progress

Oh cmon you guys forget shit so easy. Back in the day when we had Xmen land we couldn't even get them to acknowledge the material. It had to be oh so serious. Seriously X1 spends so much of the movie telling comics to eat ass while using it to sell seats.

Are you surprised? A good chunk of this movie is referencing Pete taking the missing Avengers places
