A bit of trivia. Bees are eusocial insects, meaning that a single main female takes the central reproductive role, while the non-reproductive females take on the role of labor, pollen collection, and caring of young. The extremely few male drones basically only exist to mate with the queen. The same structure applies to ants. Just though that might be interesting.
