I think that there’s a “you can’t revive those killed through use of the gauntlet” thing. That’s why they couldn’t heal Hulk either. Just head canon tho

based, I was pissed with that lame as mechanic. They already introduced feasible fantasy time travel through the Time Stone, and then just threw it in the garbage and were like 'Here! Magic Time Juice cannisters!!'

I really wanted Thanos to take on all 5 Avengers from the remaining line up. Power him up with magic if necessary. Hulk barely got to do something and I really wanted Hawkeye to show that his arsenal isn't just exploding arrows. It would have made Tony's sacrifice more acceptable when it shows that Thanos can still take them on.
This movie and IW really suffers from really amateurish pandering. The girl moments in both has a subtlety of a sledgehammer. The character moments in the battle at the end of End Game also suffers from a lack of urgency because of all the slow character moments. Thor and some of the character's mythology getting obliterated by the need of a "season finale" still stings. I now sorta hope they pull the Asgardian reincarnation cycle the comics sorta introduced just so they can explore more of Thor's mythology.

I would have loved if the final battle ended with everybody down apart from Thanos and the six OG Avengers. No ships and fleets left, everybody is out for the count or barely crawling, and it’s just Thanos vs the OG6. Maybe they split the gauntlet and take a stone each, somebody stole Nat from another timeline where Clint died with quantum and there’s a showcase of team combos and love before everybody almost gets killed and Tony snaps his fingers.

To me, MCU Stark killing Thanos was perfect as they were direct foils: both fathers, keikaku men, super fucked in the head, obsessed with saving their worlds from existential threats etc, but what they would sacrifice to do so was inherently different and made one a hero and one a tyrant. So Tony finishing him made the most sense. Just wish it had been more of an ‘intimate’ battle at the end, if that makes sense.

Thanos vs. Big Three should have been longer. At least have Iron Man and Thor do a little bit more in that battle.

I walked out of the theater grinning like a mad fool for the next several hours. It was everything I could possibly have asked for.
Not as good a movie overall as Infinity War but the climax blows all others out of the water.

I feel the same way. IW was better but EG had more fanservice.

Avatar was kept in theatres far longer and had much less competition over all, especially in foreign markets. It had a lot more space as well and benefited from it at the time. People make a big deal out of China without understanding it now relative to then as well. Either way, Avatar has had multiple re-releases on top of that. EndGame will probably still pass it though. I could care less. Why does anyone? They both belong to Disney and have/will continue to make all the fucking money for them so it’s irrelevant.

Exactly. Dummies don’t see they’re looking for the same bump in the market revenue Black Panther and Captain Marvel got. When EndGame and Far From Home are in theatres at the same time it’ll boost EndGame over that hump.
