Man, I really wanted to like this show, but the stories are the same, cliche, overdone plots in every cartoon.

The world is great but they don't really do anything with it.Just plots like "Sprig wants to run the arm, but he learns it might be more difficult than it looks!" and "Anne wants to make Polly more girly, but she learns she shouldn't try to change people!"

Yeah, I feel similarly (except I like Polly; I think she's mostly not overused).

I feel like they're playing it too safe or not pushing things far enough or something. I don't even mean it should be edgier or fully plot-driven, but that I feel this setting and these characters could lead to weirder or more unique stories than they're doing.

I have a feeling they are just getting on solid ground before they start pushing things. You need to have a mold before you can break it. I think the stories have helped audiences get attached to the characters as opposed to lolrandom and shock value.

I am pretty entertained by it as it is. It's not groundbreaking, but I'm having some laughs.
