>the best male disney movies (tarzan, hercules and tresure planet) were massive flops
>frozen 2 : lesbians in the ice massive success
The best male disney movies (tarzan, hercules and tresure planet) were massive flops
That's because girls will spend absurd amounts of money on dumb shit if they think other girls want it
Just look at the fashion industry
Because basic princess fairytale love story concept appeals to mass consumers with kids more than unconventional stories.
Tarzan was a flop?
Lion King and Aladdin were male led Disney movies that were big successes.
>OP liked Tarzan
>OP probably thinks there are good Phil Collins songs other than "In the Air Tonight" and "Easy Lover"
Disneys Hercules sucked balls
AND THEN ALONG CAME ZEUS
Anna is married to a man and Elsa is getting a boyfriend in Frozen 2.
Yeah but the narrative
ZEUS
THE BIG GUY
HE'S YOUR DADDY
AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA
MR. LIGHTNING BOLTS
>the best male Disney movies
Yeah, 101 Dalmations can just eat shit, right?
Has it been confirmed Elsa is getting a girlfriend?
Boy if you think those are flops, then you aren't aware of the real best male disney movie, emperor's new groove, flopping
The best male character from Disney was Aladdin and if I'm honest, Disney being a Girl Company has a horrible record of making male characters. They're always dopey, emasculated, stupid, incompetent, etc. Which is why Aladdin was such a surprise because if Aladdin was truly as stupid as your average Disney male? He would have lost his life years ago because being an incompetent thief means you're going to die, in fact look at Flynn from Tangled he's an incompetent thief and he DID die but Bad Writing revived him.
The only decent male I can think of besides Aladdin is Merlin from Sword in the Stone. And if we're generous because they're not human Basil and Robin Hood. But the rest of the time? Disney is very horrible at writing male characters because they're a Feminine Corporation. A Gynocentric company is only good at pleasing twats, so if you're a dude, Disney has nothing for you.
The prince from sleeping beauty was a badass, though
Was he? He was given his weapons by three old women and those three old women powered up his sword and ensured that when he threw it? That it hit Maleficent in the heart so she dies. The guy had a LOT of help from three women.

Yeah, but isn't the boyfriend black?
Damn dude...imagine how much money Disney could make if it didn’t hate half the population...
I cant remember many female protags portrayed as very smart themselves
If they’re not humiliated or killed onscreen, it’s a pro-women film.
OH ILL JUST SAY THE WOOOORD
SUS
SUSSUDIO
Do you guys ever think its ironic to worry so much about having good role models for little white boys, while also dismissing anyone that wants the same for different people?
You're a fucking zoomer faggot and are wrong.
Pre-renaissance, the only good female Disney movie was Alice in Wonderland.
Pinocchio, Dumbo, Bambi, Peter Pan, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, The Jungle Book, Robin Hood, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh were all fucking kino and blew the female movies out of the water.
During the renaissance, you conveniently forgot about THE MOTHERFUCKING LION KING, THE LITERAL FROZEN OF ITS TIME YOU RETARD.
Does his work with Genesis count?
HONEY YOU MEAN HUNK-ULES
Guys have vidya, comics, anime as well. There isn't only Disney.
Elsa is straight
I'm conflicted because I really like Phil Collins but the fact that you brought up the extremely underrated Easy Lover makes this post pretty based.
Tarzan was a big success, you pleb.
Emperor's New Groove had a mediocre result, but it became a cult classic. Treasure Planet was a massive flop though, easily WDFA's biggest one, together with The Black Cauldron.
how do crocodiles taste?
Chicken
t. Bay area
Yes it can.
"Illegal Alien" would have been awesome for Tarzan.
Also it was kind of weird they didn't get Peter Gabriel instead.
>hercules was a flop
What the fuck are you talking about? Just cause it didn't make a billion dollars doesn't make it a flop
Tarzan was a big success as an animated movie and hercules was also a modest success. The only colossal flop was treasure planet.
>Crunching that thing until it gushes like it's a fucking ketchup packet
metal
Treasure Planet and Atlantis were both pretty weak in their second halves, which I assume is what made them flop.
Like slightly sweeter chicken. It's great fried.
They didn’t see the movie in theaters because they found the second half they didn’t see was weak.
Bruh where are you going with this
So Aladdin and Lion King don't count because?
Word of mouth is the most effective advertising possible
It just wasn't interesting enough for the general public to go out and see. Word of mouth and glowing reviews would have helped but whatever they saw in the advertising and marketing was dull to them.
i.e some guy whose opinions are trash anyways.
Lion King has a pretty male narrative
What? Out of those, only Treasure Planet was a flop
It's basically a male coming of age story at its heart.
and if you take the Whole new world part of aladdin also counts. And assaid only one was a real flop, not making as much money as the others don't make them flops, Pocahontas was a bigger flop than the other 2
