I skip every chapter that has Alfie as a focus. I like Marco, Lydia and Vera but Alfie fucking sucks.

Ozge and Alfie's relationship feels rushed as fuck because it's almost entirely in montage with Alfie's narration assuring us that Ozge is the best. Prior to this date they never really hold a conversation just blushing with a few words. Feels lazy compared to the build up Vera and mountain man had, or Lydia and Marco. Not to mention they cutting alfie off from having sex with anyone else. I was kinda hoping whatever shit she has going with alduin would get lewd it will probably be her testing the strap on out on Ozge.

The way I see it, it's a result about her going through her sheltered life and finally having the freedom to explore the world and her sexuality and she doesn't know how to do it yet, constantly doubting herself and seeking only carnal pleasure. But I always saw this as just a phase and a set up for character development later on, where she'll learn to open up about her feelings and comunicate them easier, once she has it all figured out.
I thought it was pretty organic the way it was written and from a story writing perspective, I see no reason why you can't make your character unlikable for a short period of time for the sake of the story and later development.

Vera is trying to get alfie on her side of the plot. Aklfie is just kinda spinning wheels on the other side until Vera gets there. The only thing of note was Alfie getting info about Vera from Alduin but honestly with Alfie on a monogamy run the appeal is kind stripped from that.
