Their belief is that by being incredibly loud and openly doing everything they can to attach their identity (being a lesbian, woman, trans, or queer individual) to whatever is they're involved with or interested in.
An example of this would be something like Iceman, the second he was identified as gay they immediately did everything they could to "queer" his space, that's why suddenly everything he did was based around some aspect of being lgbtq.
Same with she-ra, everything in that series is based around some aspect of queering spaces.
It's for this reason any time a woman or ltq individual comes within a mile of anything you like it will suddenly swerve towards being weirdly gay or gender focused, transformers being another prime example.
Their goal is less anything in universe making sense or being handled well and more smearing their identity and queerness all over the property in a meta sense to further their goals of normalization.
