It's a good one this week

It was a really good episode, but is it just me or have the past two episodes been really mean spirited for some reason? Like, everyone is just kinda being more of an asshole than usual, and I don't really get why.

They've always been like that for the most part. The only character who felt a bit OOC this episode was Ered because she's normally just a glorified prop who sits in the background being chill

Yeah, last episode might've genuinely been my least favorite of the series. It's beyond shit.
But they're not. Like, yeah, certain characters are always assholes, but the entire camp suddenly ganging up on Harrison seems weird, and Nikki shitting all over Max last episode was really fucking strange and OOC. Ered was noticeably bad this time around too, yeah.
Don't get me wrong-- this episode was great; the interactions between Harrison and QM were hilarious, and the ending where that fucking squid tells Harrison your brother says 'hi' were fantastic. I just feel like something was missing.

Yeah, which I never understood. Camp Weedonwantcha doesn't have any adults (except flashbacks to campers old lives), and these kids have been abandoned. Camp Camp has the occasional adult in almost every episode; along with the fact that most campers will get picked up by their guardians.

It´s the way of the show to remind us that these kids are assholes even if they´re no longer as awful as they used to be.
Also, in this episode, in particular, it was used for the message about kid´s insecurities. I think it was well handled.

Well his parents said he made his brother disappear so.. probably got him stuck in the dimension with octopus or something.

This is the first episode this season that gave me multiple out-loud laughs, so the new writer was pretty alright in my books. I don't even find QM that funny normally

I haven't played a Pokemon game since red/blue so I don't know what any of these 'mean'. But I recognize Misingno and the sprite for when you don't have that scope to identify ghost pokemon. Don't know what that circle with the question mark is supposed to be. I assume the theme here is "shit you're not supposed to have".

I've started to watch this show from the beginning and I made it till this episode. And I gotta ask you guys what the hell happened. This episode was pretty decent, but season 4 was pretty mediocre compared to seasons 1 to 3. Did something happened when they were making season 4?

Definitely, though to be fair it doesn't have much competition so far. I think next week is the one with David stargazing so that's probably going to be great too

The core writers/directors who were with the show since the beginning have started to drift away since the end of season 2. Both seasons 3 and 4 have a ton of episodes written by guest writers and they're generally pretty weak

My hopes for Nerris/Harrison episode was too high. I wanted as least Nerris to see some of Harrison actual power. Oh well, hopefully their fight at least won't be so one sided from now on. Hopefully. . .

Now that the Harrison episode is over, my most anticipated episode is the camp showdown between these three assholes.

Imagine a flower Scouts origin episode. Takes place the summer before Camp Camp. Stars Sasha, Erin, Tabbii and Nikki meeting for the first time.

Sasha is a beauty pageant girl told to join the flower Scouts for extracurricular. She's immediately against the idea, and force by her pageant mom.

Erin is actually a book worm who's eye colors made her anti social. Her parents force her to join scouts, to make friends.

Tabbii is going because of her sister stories about camp. We see Tabbii interact with her sister before she goes.

Nikki is going because she thinks she'll make friends and have adventures.

At first they all don't get along, but find a common ground hating Nikki. They team up to get Nikki kicked out. Adventure ensues, at the end Nikki saves the day. Just when you think she's going to stay, all three girls put the blame on Nikki which she says "wait, what?!" Cut to black and insert Richie Branson song.

I liked that scene where Max said he couldn't swim. It's a small moment that doesn't stop the episode and. Say "Look at poor Max, his parents don't pay attention to him." But it lets us the audience know Max isn't lying about his parents.

Space kid might not be getting attention either, but at his age I think it's less alarming. Still nice to see they gave them something in common. Besides the Voice actors being married IRL.

Harrison’s a great character I wasn’t shocked. He’s a good boy.

That explains some things about camp camps current writing.

Hopefully the last episode means this season finally gets a good direction and stops making okay-ish episodes.

Harrison's my favorite character and I'm glad his episode was so good. Seemed kind of shitty to bitch at Quartermaster after he saved the world from apocalypse though. No doubt a thankless and highly dangerous job that he's performed multiple times at this point too.

Efficiency, campers with capes got hung by their capes. Really one of the few occasions the capes came in handy.

This would conflict the hell out of Enda Mode.

Is that the reason? Or is simply coincidence that the two characters that Nerfs couldn't wedgie just happened to be the ones with capes? I know what I choose to believe. Besides, underwear would conflict with a medieval fantasy setting.

Still feel like we are barely scrapping the potential of Harrison. We got a hint of his brother, but we got more confirmation of his power. Nurf seems like he grew a little after the episode, hoping we see that in Harrison following episodes.
