Most Importantly, BUMP THIS THREAD TO KEEP IT GOING!
I've been recording for a children's show for a bit now, but they requested a new character for me to play, in which i gotta do a high pitched squeaky voice. The thing is, it needs my throat to be clean and a little dry. But after a few minutes of recording, a lot of saliva and stuff alike starts to accumulate, distorting the voice and making it sound dirty.
tl;dr Any tips for not building up saliva on the throat?

Before I record, I shake around some water in my mouth to get rid of excess saliva a few times. I also learned that drying your mouth afterwards is not a good idea.
