I like the idea of a third option that takes truths from both takes on religion. I wonder if Duane will turn out to be anything more special than the son of a printer? Ash doesn't strike me as the kind of writer who would reveal that a main character was secretly the chosen one all along.

We know she's religious from previous chapters, at least to the extent that she'll pray to the gods for favour.

I tend to agree that is is unacceptably slow. As much as I love the material within I have little faith that a comic this slow can be ended in a satisfying way.

It's slow because you read it 3 pages a week with months long breaks

I'm not sure I'd want it to try and be any faster. There are already parts of it that feel a little rushed, but I like character development and mood-building. When Cope talks about all the shit she's chopped from the script for time it makes me sad.

The story has literally already resolved it's initial plot and is now heading in a different direction, not sure what your talking about.

I just mean I have a hard time believing that Cope will remain dedicated for the next 10 or whatever years it would take to end it properly, it's hard for any artist to remain interested in a project for that long

Unsounded changes forms a lot and has a lot of characters it bounces around between. I think it was designed that way. This current chapter is a great example. It's totally different from anything else and probably a good way for Cope to like, keep sane.

If we were still with Duane and Sette doing wacky hijinks out on a highway somewhere, you'd have more to worry about, but this shit's always changing.

I think we'll get a satisfying ending to this story.

Whether she does continued stories that are brand new in the setting like she said we would is anyone's guess, but she has been strictly scheduled all this years unlike pretty much any other webcomic, I don't think she'll leave us high and dry

Sette's care for Duane is adorable.

She lives and breathes this stuff. I think short of a tragic accident like a car crash or pregnancy our only real concern is that she finishes it before any of us die.
