I really hope it's worth reading. Vampirella has been written by everyone from Alan Moore to Grant Morrison to Warren Ellis to James Robinson (back when he could write) and has a surprising number of quality comics for what amounts to a schlock character. What Dynamite has done with her has been an absolute fucking shame and the character really deserves better. If Priest can get Vampirella back on track and return her to her old school style with all the T&A and violence that comes with that then great.

He said he is going in an entirely new direction than what everyone has done before. Which usually works for Vampi cause many of those names you mentioned did something brand new with her. But he has said he will probably end up pissing off some of the fans. But he said he is keeping the costume and keeping her sexy. So here is hoping for the best

Honestly I think they don't even know themselves. They're putting out some great, subversive stuff lately (Mars Attacks mini, Lone Ranger, the Atari line) but nobody's really paying attention because they're still seen as the pulp/smut guys (which is still their bread and butter, so you can't blame them). Bond seems to do well for them. John Wick could've been fucking HUGE if it wasn't subject to endless delays and an artist change. It easily could've been their breakout hit

Priest was attacked online for an interview he gave where he expressed moderate to right leaning views on topics such as gender and censorship. The interviewer contacted Priest a second time after the interview was over and basically said to him 'your ideas are wrongthink. Would you like a chance to 'correct' what you said and capitulate to the extreme left?'
Priest told him to get fucked and by refusing to bow to SJWs won the adoration of CG.
CG, and a bunch of normal, centrist people turned up to pre-order Vampirella en masse in response.

Dynamite released a series of paperbacks called "Vampirella: Masters Series" that reprinted fan favorites from the Harris years. If you want it narrowed down even further, they also did "The Best of The Masters Series Omnibus" which that cherry-picked the best of the best stories from the individual Masters Series paperbacks and collected then into one book.
