"Homer, what's wrong?"
"Oh yeah, like you don't know. We're gonna have sex."
"Oh. Well, we don't have to."
"Yes we do. The cookie said so."
"Homer, desserts aren't always right."
"But they're so sweet and tasty."
"Homer, what's wrong?"

So did they or didn't they?
I don't think they really said on the DVD commentary one way or another.
They did, because the next scene had some incongruences regarding the position of the turkey that indicate a mirrored point of view, which is often associated with dreamlike scenarios.
Simply put, Homer imagined the whole sequence with Marge.
If they had, I think they would have eaten the chicken
The DVD commentary was useless anyway, it was mostly just Groening and Mirkin talking about how hot Michelle Pfeiffer was.
>episode aired December 9, 1993
Funny that, the #1 song on the Billboard that week was I'll Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That).
I guess it was left open to audience interpretation.
>homer has to sneak around to have an affair
>marge's crush gets to move in with them and live with them in their own house
>Marge almost kills Homer over one crummy picture of him with a belly dancer when she nearly cheated on him in the previous episode
>Marge raped Homer and never had any comeuppance
You can’t rape a spouse. All sex is consented to at the altar.
why didn't Homer just go for a threesome, he could've probably gotten Marge to agree
How's the internet in Saudi Arabia?
Gil?
>so many hot Simpsons women like Mindy
>90% of the fanart is just pedoshit of Lisa and Jessica Lovejoy or something
dude Im going to be honest, I came in here for lewds of simpsons chicks.
No but he did fuck the whore in vegas
now kys
On the DVD commentary, they said they had a lengthy debate about the scene where Homer and Flanders wake up in the hot tub and whether they should be naked or clothed. In the end it was decided to show them clothed so the audience would be left wondering "Did they or didn't they?"
Wasn't Homer's vegas wife a redhead too?
Seems like he's got a type.
Actually he was more into Neds Vegas wife.
This makes no sense, thematically. The episode is about how Homer met the perfect woman for him but he can't be with her because he's already a husband and a father. He's invested himself already and can't just drop it all. Options decrease as you make choices. This is a not a whine; after leaving Mindy behind he returns to Marge and is content.
Mindy would be a terrible match for Homer anyway since she shares many of his vices whereas Marge counterbalances them.
This. I want my hot adult redheads, please.
Early Smpsons is about the Simpsons being losers so it makes sense that their marriage is kind of rickety.
Redheads must be replaced by blacks of color. It's the rule now.
Homer walks all over Marge and leaves her to clean up his mess.
...
Artie was hardly her crush and he was squatting there for most of it. Unless you mean jack Crowley, which while ridiculous wasn't sexual.
There's also that episode where Artie offers Homer a million dollars just for a weekend with Marge, alone. They reluctantly agree to it because they could use the money to pay for Homer's snoring operation.
Earlier in the series they would've paid off their mortgage or put away money for college for their kids.
Not even about how they had to give Werner Klemperer an on-the-spot reminder of what Colonel Klink was like since he had forgotten the character?
Yeah but until the barflys roped him into thinking she would cheat he was pretty confident she wouldn't. Besides Homer was considering selling out her womb to a wealthy barron couple at one time. "It's uter-us, not uter-you."
Literally forgotten or just completely out of practice with the characterization, etc.?
After having squeezed out three kids, that puss is probably pretty blown out anyway.
She was furious at Homer for dancing with a stripper at a bachelor's party. Marge would have to be pretty drunk to agree to something like that.
Homer had forgotten her birthday and bought a heavily customized present for *himself* and embarrassed Marge in public. ...Again. Marge was determined to teach him a lesson, went bowling and got in over her head before she realized she wasn't going to break faith with Homer no matter how nice Jacques had treated her which was the primary reason she was tempted in the first place. She wanted someone around who cared about her.
On the other hand, Homer knew full well what the bachelor's party was going to entail, casually lied to Marge about it or at least downplayed the presence of strippers and thanks to Bart the entire town knew about it. He had no hesitation to just shake hips with a half naked lady.
Did the twinks give to homer when he went full drag queen to cheer up Marge?
came here to post this
>"Yes we do. The cookie said so."
Anyone else here been forced to have sex due to cookies? Cookie rape is a very real problem and I'm surprised it doesn't get more attention.
That's just the way the consent crumbles
