It's a hell of a lot better than what I got.

This had some moments
the flip off back up was pretty good
I mean it is accurate to windwaker runs
Yugioh fan animations are seemingly always great
Thought of those specifically.
i actually laughed for the first time from a yt animation
i just wish they would parody something other than the original series. 5ds only gets remembered for the motorcycles and arc-v is ripe for parody.
youtube.com
Have we all been getting Yu-gi-oh related videos? Only Yu-gi-oh related thing I watch is Rata.
Get your game on Yea Forums!
Don't you mean get your lame on, Jaden Yuki
it's because yugioh makes people use their brains unlike shit like Fortnite
I'm lucky to casually play it at a local shop with fine individuals who shower in a daily basis.
I like when Link buttslaps Zelda,it was hot.
>parody animation has more unique frames than thu actual show
Pretty damn cool, must've been a lot of work. Which is why it pains me to say that the joke goes for way too long.

Pretty interesting Shady got into original animations given his origins as an abridger bandwagoner
One decent laugh. Rest was very, very predictable.
Animation for youtube was solid, but fuck me is the humor of parody cartoons stale and cliche.
>making abridged series is no longer a thing now
>teamfourstar mostly just does streams and reviews now
>people like littlekuriboh, antfish, and kaiserneko have all gotten legitimate voice acting jobs
younger me did not see this one coming
To give this credit they actually tried on this, generally parody cartoons get all their humor from being crude with no actual substance like
>I mean, have you been watching dragons fuck or what?
>No, no, no, I've been watching a DOCUMENTARY of dragons fucking, completely different!
mild chuckle
But TFS still does DBZA, they're just on break since they're probably changing to the same kind of production style LK has been doing; doing episodes in bulk instead of one at a time, so they'll probably be able to get through their final seasons within a more fashionable time instead of half a damn decade.
Definitely a good point, the EA video is utter trash. If you're gonna make a parody cartoon where the writing is trash, at least make it look appealing.
it's moreso that they're doing reviews and streams now on top of making dbz abridged that i didn't expect.
I won't lie, I thought it would just be one of those "Yugi tries to cheat at a different card game" videos but I got pretty hyped when they changed over to the holographic playing field
>Yugi didn't even cheat at poker, despite how easy it would be compared to Duel Monsters
I feel like the problem is that they don't focus enough on how lootbox/microtransaction shit screws over your wallet more so than anything, you get the one bit with Kaiba's credit draining, and then it's just him dropping buzzwords related to the stuff before whatever the hell the ending is with him getting stomped on.
So are wild cards an actual thing in poker? Where you can have it be any kind of card you need for your hand? Is it always a certain card?
Pretty sure it's a bit more specific than what is shown, but having things like wild cards is certainly a thing within games like poker.
aces wild, deuces wild, jacks wild, it's a common thing
>You....COCKSUCKERS!
>..What, too much?
Not exactly what I'd expect of the guy dressed as Kaiba, but still pretty funny. It is pretty refreshing that it doesn't just play out a bunch of in-jokes that only YGO and anime fans alone would get.
HAHAHA KIDS ANIME IS SILLY AND NOT LIKE REAL LIFE
>how dare someone make a parody that inserts an anime character into a mundane game like poker?
(You)
>Dude did you know...that pretend card games...aren't the same as real card games?!
>W-w-why are you guys being amused by this? I AM NOT AMUSED BY THIS! That means you guys can't be amused by this, either!
>can't justify something being funny
>W-WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING IT ANYWAY?
>it's not funny because I said so
>It's funny, even though I can't explain why
>explain humour to me
autism
>you have to explain why it's funny to me
No, not really kiddo.
Channel 4? Is this British?
cards is a game where you witness adults doing each other dirty ...Yu-gi-oh using a normal pack just meant the rules were intellugible and not some fantasy stuff with the life points
How did Yu-Gi Oh get memed so easily across the internet compared to Digimon?
4Kids and selling product
This was pretty cool

I was prepared to call you a faggot but this was good. Well played, OP, well played.

Dubs if you're interested
because digimon is for furries and furries are hella gay lmao
Post the better one by TerminalMontage
I actually like FF7 abridged more than DBZA. I just wished we could get more of that in between DBZA episodes.
Can someone make a gif of Yugi bouncing on chair about 0:40 in the video?
Just get yourself some ffmpeg, my friend.
Speaking of youtube "the average bioshock player" is nearing one million views

Teamfourstart stoped being funny around the cell arc anyway
Maybe if they start up again they can redeem themselves
YGO abridged
not just that it exists but it being one of the first and influencing the entire subgenre, with other abridgeds referencing it and MasakoX doing crossovers and convention stuff and putting in a lot of work to remain in the public consciousness of internet culture
Yugioh was a huge meme before abridged.
yeah but abridged kept it from any risk of fading into obscurity and coined or inspired many of the enduring memes still around
I rewatched it recently and it was almost exactly when Cell absorbed 17 and gained his second form.
Like it was genuinely jarring how abrupt the shift was. makes me think something happened behind the scenes
Some things just have higher meme potential.
With digimon, it was mostly furries latching onto stupid sexy renamon.
it was already doomed when they introduced bondage werewolf in 01
They claim they are going back to more humor for buu arc
They made the mistake of thinking they were an actual dub and started taking themselves seriously.
Who is the best?
I don't think Sawatari counts as rival like the other dudes in the pic
I wonder if after boo they will do og dragon ball or move on to super
The Konosuba jokes and the Kokomo joke didn't flow well, but otherwise I liked it.
Yugioh is memeable because the very act of playing card games the way they do in the show is hilarious and yet genuinely entertaining.
Different in what way, im more of a casual watcher of their stuff than a big fan.
Poker is small time.
Aster is a fucking faggot. Where's THE CHAZZ?
>youtu.be
Finding out about Dan Green's past in hentai is one of the greatest discoveries I've made.
Got this: youtube.com
Too bad, i couldn't understand shit.
>You have to sacrifice two monsters in order to summon the dark magician.
>Not in this season.
>one eye jacks are wild, that good with you Yugi?
>EXCELLENT.
Chazz was never a rival. He was just a huge joke.
Chazz was literally the best character in GX
Kaiba, obviously. Jack's cool too.
He looked cooler.
Unless you read the manga.
unwatchable
fuck you jaden
>Got a gambling addiction ad for this.
Ha
Boo arc will take them years
>are seemingly always great

Stick figure fights are a lost art from a forgotten age.
The problem is that no one watched them
i remember only watching the opening for her delicious tits
Well, I'll be damned. I'm picky, but that was fun.
Hopefully they're making both in batches so we don't have to wait ages between their breaks.
I think they just wanted to keep some of the seriousness of the scene. And to be fair, they kind of have done that with the other fights. While the battles with Vegeta and Freeza still had lots of jokes in their fights, they still mostly maintained some seriousness with the battle like with Goku being rather competent after transforming into a Super Saiyan instead of just tarding it up as usual, granted he does go back to being quite dumb when Freeza hits 100%. And it's not like Gohan's entire battle was dead serious, they had all kinds of gags like Cell being entirely uncaring about his kids dying, and Gohan's ominous statements being only somewhat more in context than Goku's during his early Super Saiyan transformations. With that said, they could have probably saved some time and sped up the proceedings.
obligatory shill

This might be more up your alley if you're looking for Konosuba jokes.
Maaaan, now I really wanna replay some of those old Yu-Gi-Oh games on the PC.
Good vid though. Thanks OP.
It was nice that they didn't mess with the girls too much beyond extending a few skirts and removing any overt fanservice moments. Though as I recall, the series was never quite as heavy with the fanservice as the Toei season 0 before it.
Kaiba, he revolutionized Holographic, Augmented reality and Space technology just to win a game of cards.
Zexal had a ton of fanservice.
Mostly just short skirts and legs/thighs from what I understood.
but that's the best kind.
>28 and just started collecting the cards last year
Someone explain SEGOC to me
How many you got nigga?
As far as g-rated fanservice goes, I agree.
Tiny skirts, sleeveless shirts.
You should get one finger death punch 2 while it's on sale
GX was prime yugioh times. E heroes and cyber dragons will always be my favorite Arch type.
The fuck is a E hero? a cyber dragon is a character archetype?
bought the kaiba boxset which has a starter deck and 6 boosters, and a couple dragon related decks. I'm trying to make a dragon based deck.
GX almost killed the franchise. Fucking Duel Masters got more popular than YGO because of GX. And E-Heroes were never good in the actual card game. Only good hero cards are D-hero and Masked
this reminds me of in this one gambling manga where the author left one chapter on a cliffhanger of a character suggesting that the protagonist and him play UNO
I got a bunch of new cards recently, I don't want to make a tryhard meta deck though so I'm mostly just picking things I really like that don't seem unusable.
yeah me neither I don't even have friends to shoot the shit with it. if I went to a tournament I probably wouldn't even know what's going on.
Sumatto and Speevil are fun to watch.
>50 shades of pegasus
kek
>And E-Heroes were never good in the actual card game.
Still better than Neo-Spacians.
Mashed actually made something good for once, crazy.
Anything is better than Neos. Jaden had the worst deck of all the main characters of the franchise.
I don't know, I might still put him above Syrus in that regard.
Are you ready to rumble, you slags?!
SAVE ME JESSE
I WOULD LOVE TO PUMBLE THAT LITTLE TOOTHPICK OF A MAN!
Kaiba and Kaito.
It's not difficult to explain. Incongruity can be a source of humour, especially familiar ideas reframed in unexpected contexts.
Used to play with actual cards, but now it's just Duel Links for me.
>the action speedline background falls off when dave says "cocksuckers"
it's the little things
also the supporting cast was fairly well characterised for a comedy short which makes a lot of difference
*Schmaden Shmuki
>fart of the wild
Manga Jaden is better.
>GX almost killed the franchise.
Like hell it did, GX is the most popular spin-off in Japan even to this day. I think you mean 5D's made people lose interest.
>GX is the most popular spin-off in Japan even to this day
That is Zexal
Short for elemental hero - really fun archetype based on superheros that the main character used. Has a lot of fusion mechanics, so it's really fun to watch.
Cyber dragon isn't a character archetype, - the cards are called monsters, even if they have humanish things on them, so it's a monster archetype. Just like Blue Eyes or Dark Magician. One of the major duelists in GX used it. It's a really modular archetype with a lot of options, and can go from 0-100 real fucking quick. It's also really entertaining.
Bullshit. Nobody cares about Zexal.
>being this delusional
The yugioh hype slowed down in the GX and this became popular.
It's was the show with the best rating of the franchise. The main girl was voiced by a IRL yugioh player idol. It was popular as fuck in Japan.
>E-Hero
>fun
Using most of your resources in a single turn and getting btfo by a single trap/Xyz/Synchro isn't fun at all.
To be fair, Yugioh hasn't been fun as a whole in years.
