>"We are Heroes" K.O. struggles with his upgraded role as a member of the hero team. >"KO, Rad, and Enid!" i don't get this mentality at all, i think the show looks like shit but im not dedicating 100% of my free time waiting for threads of it to pop up so i can spam my same five images over and over again then i remember that this site also has cretins like barneyfag and it starts to make sense again
i think they'res copycat phantoms floating around but i couldn't tell you if its the same person, dedicated as he was i think some of the faggots on Yea Forums like that nutcase that still defends FFXV is still active though and they're just as nuts the amount of raving autists that come here is almost impressive, its like a wacky sitcom but its set in a mental institution
>fink teases ko for being a momma's boy >when she's attached to Venomous at the hip Well if that aint the pot calling the kettle black
Henry Wilson
Nor is he a three headed Space Monster
Caleb Rodriguez
Glad I'm not the only one who felt that 's background looked different. I love it, though. Looks clean, texturized, and saturated in a more balanced way.
>>"K.O. vs. Fink" >When Fink taunts K.O. for being a momma's boy, he grapples with newfound insecurity about it.
This coming from a daddy's girl?
Michael Garcia
I'm not ready, bros.
After years of waiting for this show spanning as far back as the pilot release in 2013, I really expected OK K.O.! to take over as CN's new flagship show since AT was well past its prime and SU only had so many more years left under its belt. This show is only two years old, and it still feels brand new. We've just barely scratched the surface of the limitless world of The Year 201X, yet we're already prepping to bid adieu to this fun cast of characters.
The CN originals that follow don't seem as unique or promising as OK K.O.!, but as long as Ian & Toby chose to end the series on their own terms with a third and final season, I'll accept it with a more peaceful mourning.
I await to see the rest of KO, Rad, and Enid's coming-of-age story.
Pretty sure their flagship show is Teen Titans GO and SU never was. Hell, SU only has three years of content stretched out over six, it's a failure disguised as a success.
It might be for the best if KO ends at season 3. The series has been a fun ride from the start and I'd like it to end in a fun way too. Adventure Time and Steven Universe used to be fun but then they just kept dragging their feet and pretended to be deeper than they actually were.
Alexander Allen
>Consistently ranks higher than most shows on the network >Still a media darling and not just for the LGBT content >B-but the only reason it's still around is due to artificial reasons C'mon son, you're smarter than that.
Austin Ramirez
1. It barely ranks higher (with something like 0,1 points) and only does so due to the fucked up schedule. 2. It basically is just the LGBT stuff, sorry but it's true. How many articles can you find that doesn't mainly touch on that stuff? 3. The content is stretched, you can just compare it to other shows. TTGO for example reached the same episode count as SU early in season 4.
The show isn't popular, it basically just exists because CN studios needs to make enough content to justify its existance and SU makes them look good.
Literally any basic episode review, and again you're using the cop-out response of "oh it's...it's on purpose...they stretch it out on purpose" to avoid giving SU the credit it deserves for toppling TTG of all fucking things.
William Robinson
Good I thought it was straight up canned, glad it's getting an ending.
Gavin Martinez
>the credit it deserves for toppling TTG of all fucking things. It hasn't really though. TTG has basically had better ratings for it's entire run and the last batch of SU barely did better than the TTG episodes released around the same time. Not that it really matters that much anyway, ratings below 1.0 are extremely pathetic and virtually no CN show have been able to pull it off since the first quarter of last year.
The best rated show on a practiaclly dead network is a hollow accomplishment.
Josiah Lee
I crack a little smile every time I see that silly gif, thanks
>amount of raving autists that come here is almost impressive, its like a wacky sitcom but its set in a mental institution And you are total normal and cool for sure
Zachary Harris
>Planet X Holy shit, I fucking called it. I had doubts about Ian reading this thread, but good on you, you absolute madman. K.O. vs. Fink should be lots of fun, too.
Jacob Jenkins
Same. Even if it did feel like the show hasn't reached its full potential with popularity and merch, I'll be happy that it ended on a short but high note.
I hear that even TTG's been slipping in ratings since late in 2017.
I do. His voice has a lot of charm to it.
Eli Barnes
>Saturday slot That's good. A step up from Sundays desu.
Aiden Roberts
The episode descriptions don't particularly wow me, but I'm just happy that we're getting more OK K.O. so soon after the end of the second season dropped.
Daniel Barnes
What are the chances of CN dropping the episodes tonight.
How do you know? Sorry to ask just curiosity don't wanna get my hopes up too high
Liam Phillips
this cartoon is fucking ugly
Jason Morgan
Not him, but it's because usually when a source announces there's a batch of episodes coming up (or even just Ian announcing), CN tends to randomly upload them on their app on the forthcoming Friday. It's stupid, but that's just how the show gets released.
Joseph Bennett
says you
Brody Carter
Forget what I said. The episodes are going up on the app next Friday.
Aren't they doing a Sonic crossover or was that just a prank?
Hudson Cook
Can we get another Dendy episode before the series is done? I'm especially curious if they'll keep her a POW level behind K.O. or she'll gain a level on her own merits.
Landon Martinez
Not even mad, 3 seasons is always the perfect length to develop and satisfyingly conclude character arcs.
This makes me wonder if people in the show all go by age-range demographics. Like Enid and Rad are just "16-22" AKA "young adult", they can drive and take community college classes, live with their parents, and we don't hear about them going to high school or not.
Justin Ross
>we don't hear about them going to high school or not Are the Lakewood Plaza Turbos a high school or college sports team?
he's possibly ko's father, and in later episodes it's revealed that he's conflicted about his motivations as a villain, the way this is solved is by introducing some of the best character dynamics the show has bar none
Asher Howard
they seem to be the primary source of power in this universe - boxman uses them to power his bots and give them sentience - when ingested by a person they seem to get a “power up”. they just make shit more powerful
Brayden Fisher
and all of rad's alien stuff is powered by them
Oliver Ortiz
It was a nice ride even if season three is the last. They've covered just about all they can without nosediving into ships the way Adventure Time did to get its later, shittier seasons. They just need to wrap a few continuous story arcs up with wacky standalone non-canon episodes as filler just like my blackenese animes.
Enid's the only one we haven't seen still being a were-animal, right?
Isaac Phillips
>muh endgame Why are you people trying to end the show so early? Did you not notice ? I'm getting tired of all the doomsaying.
Pretty much. Which makes sense, since there's probably a transformation jutsu for that.
Sebastian Davis
people are prepped for it to end and wouldn't mind it if it came down to having to end here, but yeah from a production angle the crew is still working.
Ryder Allen
Same here, I love how they’re stereotypical aliens with designs that parallel Homer and Marge. With Planet X being part of the lineup, we’ll likely see them again (with hopefully more lines).
Jack Jenkins
>pp

>Steven Universe >Apple & Onion >Craig of the Creek >Summer Camp Island >Victor and Valentino >Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart >Infinity Train >Tig n’ Seek
Also, some shows produced outside of CN Studios: >Teen Titans Go! >DC Super Hero Girls >ThunderCats Roar >Looney Tunes Cartoons (shorts) But that lineup of CN originals doesn’t sound the most exciting. Some of those shows may be pretty good, but it’s clear that Disney will take the lead with DuckTales, Amphibia, and The Owl House alone.
I'm behind on the show not having seen past All In The Villainy, but the episodes Red Action to the Future, Special Delivery, Soda Genie, CarolQuest, Super Black Friday, Plaza Alone, Monster Party, and basically all of the PointPrep/Enid-centric episodes varied from "meh" to "hard-to-watch"
I got to a point where if it was a Point Prep episode I'd just start skipping ahead until it ended, so I know there's something with Chip Damage being a robot, but I don't care. Monster Party has the same problem with being Enid-centric because it always just revolves around her being awkward because she's different than when she was younger. The episode could have been good like The Power Is Yours, but Enid bogged it down. Red Action to the Future and Soda Genie both had the problem of being an Idiot Plot, requiring each character be utterly retarded to keep the conflict from being resolved immediately, but that wouldn't really be an issue if it the characters were consistently dumb like in Fairly Odd Parents or if it at least embraced a similar style of humor, without that they were like watching a train wreck play out in super slow motion.
>not thinking that at least the first half of KO's Health Week was funny honestly (outside of the season finale, which was merely okay) most of post All in the Villainy eps are great, ESPECIALLY KO's health week and OK AU
Colton Moore
that's odd, I always felt season 2 overall was stronger than the 2nd half of season 1 (the 2nd half of season one is probably the stretch of the show with the most duds)
Like the only season 2 eps I would consider duds would be Red Action to the Future and Soda Genie (and Dark Plaza if you were to compare it to the standard set by TKO and You're In Control)
Matthew Walker
Wait what? Sorry, I must have been in Jordon when this was released, wat?
Elijah Bailey
>not thinking that at least the first half of KO's Health Week was funny I haven't seen it yet, as I said: >I'm behind on the show not having seen past All In The Villainy I haven't seen any of the episodes that came out after that one.
I have no idea what the fuck you're saying.
Alexander James
the KO's health week comment wasn't towards you, it was towards the other people I was replying to
Josiah Allen
I don't remember an episode with captain planet in it. There was a three week period of time last year when I was visiting my brother in Jordan, and didn't really see any TV show updates from the states. Now I've been on youtube and holy shit, this is weird.
Jeremiah Wood
I was asked which episodes I considered ok and unwatchable, so I replied.
Oh. Without any context I assumed Jordan was a guy.
>fucking a girl VA doing a boy's voice It's an abstract kind of feel.
Elijah Brooks
yeah while I feel like Mira/Geneva was the team with the weakest track record overall in the season, Super Black Friday was one of the funniest eps in the show (Rad's Alien Sickness was also top tier)
Matthew Jenkins
Yeah, those and Monster Party are the weakest ones of season 2 while Let's Not be Skeletons and the first few episodes of season 1 were weak as well, at least to me. The rest all range from good to amazing.
Grayson Scott
I'd say that Stevie/Ryann, Dave/Haewon, and Iggy/Danny have all been on their A game throughout most of the second season; it's been a tough choice to pick a favorite.
Ryan Adams
>>Elodie enlists K.O. to help figure out what to do about Chip Damage.

Everyone in her dojo takes turns. The four-arm girl is pretty upset that she only gets one turn but damn does she make it count.
Brandon Torres
DYEWTS? Rad is an alien from Planet X
Asher Hill
I was mostly questioning what it had to do with the threads, or more specifically, what Ian would have read from the board. That said, if Rad's home planet had been given a name, then it's true, I had completely forgotten about it until now.
Thomas Cox
As early as the "KO takes Rad's place" episode in the rap battle he shouts out to Planet X.
Xavier Russell
TREVOR PHILLIPS
Andrew Reyes
It honestly looks like you're forcing yourself to watch this and putting yourself in a mindset that makes watching cartoons a chore.
I know it’s but a pipe dream to hope that Season 3 explores the cast of villains introduced in “Villains Night Out,” but I’ll be content if we could get even one more episode with Cosma.
Parker and Ryan's styles in general were more on par with Ian's.
Angel Evans
Dude, that was a visual gag about how KO hadn’t gone through a timeskip and was exactly the same as we last saw him in Season 1. They did this by literally copy+pasting his model sheet design.
>muh ‘Reddit spacing!!’ Also, giving me quints won’t make my claim anymore wrong. Edits are shit, and the world would be a better place if people just drew original fanart.
Cooper Walker
wasted trips, besides. I'm sure you're the kind of person who gets spergy when people edit artists work. It's just a drawing, most people don't have the skill so they just edit because they're lazy, and I'm sure the people who make edits don't care if people think it's shitty or "disrespectful".
Logan Foster
>wasted trips I dont know user i think there's some ironic merit to having fake quints in an edit and then getting trips
Carter Cooper
Punzie’s mom is underrated af
Lucas Hall
it's a joke user, there was no actual value of fabricated quints; you should relax a little, it's not that deep.
Not yet. Most times when a show gets cancelled (or is in danger of getting cancelled) the crew behind it is forced to keep all of that under wraps until the network itself decides to officially announce the final season.
If OK K.O.! actually was cancelled rather than ended on its own terms, Ian & Toby won’t reveal that any time soon since they’re probably being held at gunpoint to keep their mouths shut.
>No sexy fanart of Enid in her Resistence outfit Why have you failed me, internet?
Asher Price
It has lot of gruesome action parts, and lots of bug-related trivia. Can't comment on the overall plot, because haven't checked it in years.
Jonathan Garcia
>rushed garbage This isn’t the show for you, user.
While many agree that “Dark Plaza” wasn’t as great as “T.K.O.” or “You’re in Control” since it tried juggling several different plot points rather than strictly focusing on KO/TKO, it was still a fun take on the “edgy dystopia résistance” trope. Plus, it was cool to see several of the Plazoids outside of KO, Rad, and Enid’s circle working together.
I’ve never been too invested in Carol’s “secret agent” plot, but her scenes with Gar were also touching.
Also, I’m a total slut for Stevie Borbolla’s boards.
She's cute in a geeky kind of way. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Nicholas Taylor
>"DUDE CAPTAIN PLANET CROSSOVER!!!" >"DUDE GHOUL SCHOOL CROSSOVER!!!" >"DUDE CROSSOVER WITH MY OLD WEBCOMIC PEOPLE BARELY REMEMBER!!!" >"You know, Ian, if you would put more focus into telling the audience why K.O. and his friends, your OWN creations, are so important; taking the time and effort to flesh out their personalities, their backstories, and their motivations in a meaningful way, then these crossovers would be much more impactful. Otherwise, they just feel empty and meaningless." >"........" >"DUDE LETS DO ALL THE CROSSOVERS AT ONCE!!! CALL SEGA SEE IF THEY WANNA DO A SONIC CROSSOVER. DUUUUUUUUUUDDE!!!" >"God dammit, this is why we're cancelled."
Ian is such an elite-level autist that it's almost mind-boggling.
>I’ve never been too invested in Carol’s “secret agent” plot, but her scenes with Gar were also touching. Also, I’m a total slut for Stevie Borbolla’s boards. My nigga. I love her exaggerated art style, and her standalone art is very vibrant too. On a side note, I always thought that a woman's touch made for better romance resolving plots.
Reminder not to reply to the troll. He always thinks he's winning.
Nathan Evans
Since Mira left before everyone else and Geneva got promoted to Supervising Director, do we know of any new board artists whose names we can expect to see in Season 3?
Mira didn't leave before everyone else. One person kept trying to push that "Mira left" but it wasn't true
Carson Baker
You sound like you're obsessed with him
Brody Davis
I dropped the show around season two, after Enid inscribed into P.O.I.N.T. Not because I didn't like the show, but because of laziness. Is it worth it to watch the entire season to catch up?
Carter Edwards
Numberjacks, old show for little kids.
Wyatt Morgan
Yeah, he's kinda hunky and I have a soft spot for that kind of characters, tough on the outside but soft on the inside, hiding their true interests. It's kinda cute in a fun way.
Justin Nelson
Most people on Yea Forums hate a person, place, or thing to the point of compelled obsession. 8-chan has an entire board dedicated to hating internet personalities for eternity
Julian Hall
So glad I'm not the only one.
Zachary Jones
I’m a little underwhelmed that it’s just a bumper rather than a full promo, but those outfits are still cool. Ten bucks says they’re temporary and only appear in maybe two episodes at most
aw man do they have new outfits because of their new missions now?i’m a huge slut for wardrobe changes. i hope they’re permanent. also, the colors seem different. are they changing it up a bit?
I would have loved to see an episode where both of them struggle for power over Boxmore.
Ian Smith
>whereas S1 had 51 episodes and two (2) half-hour specials, S2 only got 40 episodes and just one half-hour finale We were fucking robbed, bros. Was the POINT Prep arc the reason why CN wouldn't allow "Crossover Nexus" to be a full 22 minutes?
Just noticed that the updated background style matches up a lot to the screenshot from the rumored Sonic crossover from a while ago (the grain, the use of gradients and random blobs, etc)
>Probably safe to bet it's happening fellas no it isnt
Thomas Cooper
it was a fun thing and I would have liked another episode or two specifically about it, but darrell was boss for more than half the season, then when boxman came back he was ith venomous and fink. so at least we got a 3rd new status quo instead of a full walk-back
It just dawned on me that with the change in art director/background style we also get a change in color pallets; KO's hair is now a deep dark shade of purple
Gabriel Murphy
Crossover Nexus was came up with in the first place because CN heard about the Point Prep arc, suggested "hey maybe put various CN relevant characters as background extras in the part", and the OK KO crew decided "hey a big CN crossover sounds like a neat idea... but it should be it's own big thing"
>What the fuck is even the point of these? People who lack any actual talent at drawing can pretend they're being creative by editing something that already exists.
So how come Mr.Gar, whose secret mission was to protect the glorb tree, and his benefactor didn't factor in at all in Dark Plaza? You'd think even if he can't intervene himself the President of the Universe could have solved it in some way.
Leo Adams
>taking the time and effort to flesh out their personalities, their backstories, and their motivations in a meaningful way But... the show does just that.
At a convention 2 months ago, I was Rad. Gained 15lbs in 5 months. Funny thing is, the day before I cosplayed as Spider-Man, so many people wanted photos. But as Rad, only 2 people knew who I was. Like 4 others asked me who I was, at a Q&A panel for Sean Schemmel, I asked him a question and he was like >"Oh hey, blue alien dude"
One lady at the artist ally booth was surprised that anyone cosplayed as a character from that show
One kid came up to get a picture, and afterwards he said >"Thanks, Captain Planet" This show is so friggin niche it's not funny
Geneva's director now so probably not her; it *kinda* looks like her style but it's a bit off for it to actually be her style. Maybe it's the boarder they got to replace her?
Hey. I stopped watching this show around when season 2 started, and I came back to it now that the season's ended. I was reading the thread and checked out KO's Health Week because I saw a few people here and elsewhere saying it was an especially funny episode. And, well: It sucked. It was a chore to watch, probably one of my least favorite episodes. Do the people who worked on this episode not know what jokes are? And don't tell me "But the faces were funny!" because funny faces can't save these directionless jokes with no setup or pay-off.
Asher Peterson
I want to do awful things to Connie. Horrible, sinful things. Holding hands, chaste smooches on the cheek, and teaching her weapons that actually make sense for someone her size, holy shit. What is wrong with Pearl? You'd think she'd pick up on concepts like "reach" and "shields" or this fun little invention that flings a tiny metal projectile at great speed called a gun!
I know this is bait, but what didn't you like about it? The episode was much more than funny faces, it was satirizing those creepy and weird PSAs from the 90s.
Luis Gomez
He's definitely a zoomer that never saw one of those. Literal children think they can post here just because they're 18.
Camden Campbell
Why would fink possibly be an adult
I don't think they put adult babies who croon in their daddy's arms on screen either
Mao Mao's show threw all the potential it had in the trash immediately with the Care Bears parody being the main setting and not a one-off joke for the pilot.
Mason Thomas
I think Mao Mao might be exactly what people expected OK KO to be.
They both revel in 80s/90s cartoon nostalgia, but OK KO is more meta and zany.
Mao Mao is more restraint, but still wears the Toy Commercial/Carebares/Darkwing Duck influences on its sleeve.
Wyatt Evans
Are we looking at the same picture? Did you lose your eyeballs? Connie should not be rapidly changing height like that.
James Jones
What would you have in mind for them to do with that instead, then? Genuinely curious. I personally didn't even realize it resembled Care Bears at all until my brother pointed it out to me. It's not that big of a deal.
Nolan Sullivan
It's a coproduction of both CN Studios and Titmouse.
Bentley Carter
It can be there, it just shouldn't be the crux of the story. The wider world is much more engaging.
Wyatt Adams
I can imagine as the show goes on they'll eventually be able to go to further places, either that or more things will come to them! For now just give it time it just started, personally I like what I'm seeing so far
Jeremiah Brown
Does it fucking matter? Their heights didn’t affect the scene in question whatsoever. You guys just actively look for height inconsistencies to screencap and bitch about rather than just immersing yourselves in the show.
Here's a happy medium for you guys: -Steven Universe is, in general, a decent show -It has lots of flaws and its share of bad episodes (TOWNIES) -The art is board-driven and that allows for a lot of freedom of expression and fun animation -It also allows some bad/lazy/overworked boarders to make gigantic mistakes that look awful (like fucking up relative size constantly - the biggest most obvious one being Garnet:Steven in the pizza delivery montage)
OK K.O. is a better board-driven show.
Caleb Thompson
The nature of the boarding process does suit KO better I'll give you that. I'm not really bothered by size inconsistency if it's not like the example you gave, I prefer to judge the show by how it looks and pound for pound it has a lot more good look episodes than bad ones. SMIP is by far the superior studio though, I have no idea how Rough Draft lets so many errors through. It's not like there's zero communication with Rebecca or the others.
Ryder Gonzalez

Those images are minutes apart to be fair. It's a bit too chibi for its own good but at least it looks cute.

>Do you plan to cosplay as Rad again If I ever go to the main Comic Cons, like SDCC or NYCC. If I ever do that again, I would do spray body paint, manual body paint is a 4 hour nightmare
It’s CN who doesn’t care, you colossal retard. Their shitty scheduling and TTG/Total Dramarama spamming is all the proof you need. Who’s to say kids don’t watch it on the app or online?
>the biggest most obvious one being Garnet:Steven in the pizza delivery montage I haven’t rewatched any of the latest seasons. Which episode?
Nolan Allen
Who said anything about OK K.O.! being cancelled? Like said, we don’t know yet if it was Ian & Toby who chose to end it, or if it was CN that canned it.
>top pic Now I want to see Rad as Bob Ross. He has the afro for it.
Chase Miller
Pool Hopping, which is actually a great non-fusion Garnet episode with an unfortunately goofy super smol Steven.

Bentley Brown
>what is Gravity Falls >what is The Powerpuff Girls It’s a rare case, sure, but sometimes a network will actually respect its creator’s decision to end their own series, even if they just end up backstabbing him a decade later with a shitty reboot.
They were barely able to finish Gravity Falls because of Disney, what the fuck.
Oliver Young
But Disney still allowed Hirsch to end it sooner than they would’ve preferred. Not all shows get cancelled, user. Some are allowed to end on their own terms, which I hope is the case with OK K.O.!.
