Really? I find Savage has worse writing and worse art. The only thing it had going for it was Alex Ross covers which stopped with the fifth issue.

Whenever I read an issue of Marvel's current Conan stuff it just makes me go re-read some of Dark Horse's older material (Busiek/Truman stuff).

Conan in the present-day Marvel universe is always a dumb idea. The whole point of Conan is it provides fantasy locales. Putting him on a New York City sidewalk defeats the purpose, and the fish-out-of-water novelty doesn't last very long.

Technically he already was, in No Road Home. Shit was cashmoney af.

This doesn't seem to match with Marvel's Conan comics in the 90s. King Conan didn't have Conan or Zenobia dying iirc.

i doubt this red witch story will actually be King Conan's last story, we have yet to see what it is about.
