WHAT WAS CW'S BIGGEST LETDOWN

Pic related for me. They were actually pretty fun, but barely relevant in the grand scheme of things, considering how they were the S1 cliffhanger.

Stupid Iris. All love interests really

This oh so much. So much wasted potential

Pretty much any attempt at expanding the universe beyond the main casts of their respective series. The JSA, Earth-2 and the Multiverse in general, Suicide Squad, ect.

Black Canary

Amaya is just so fucking hot, holy shit.

Insider-user wrote about plans for JSA (Or just Hourman in modern days) and Suicide Squad shows. That plans are died anyway.

All of Supergirl. Most of Black Lightning. 3 seasons of Arrow. 1 season of Legends. 1 season of Flash.

The many many hints and teases at Ted Kord with no payoff. The same issue with Hal Jordan and, more recently, Batman. Fuck embargoes.

For me it was the reveal of who Zoom and Savitar were, especially Savitar. I also don't really like what was done with Elongated Man and Mister Terrific.

They ruined a lot of characters.

Jane the Virgin season 5

Legends of Tomorrow never really doing team-ups with any other DC character outside of Hex

...

They just kind of stopped with the major references to the wider DCU once the show got sillier.

In Riverdale when they hyped up Josie and the Pussycats being black then proceeded to do fuck all with them then just write out the Pussycats in the start of S2 and eventually Josie towards the ass end of S3

I love Riverdale, it may be one of the worst shows I've watched in a while, every season is some bullshit
>First season is a mediocre murder mystery
>Second season starts with a serial killer and Archie joining the fucking mafia
>Third season starts with Archie in prison participating in an underground fight club while there's also a killer tabeltop game and cult sublpot
>mfw Nancy Drew is getting a shitty teen drama adaption on the CW too

Flashpoint was pretty disappointing. I know that they couldn't do things to the scale of the comic event for lack of a budget and the scope of characters available to them, but the milquetoast resolved-in-a-single-episode story we got barely meets the standards of even the weakest crossover episodes.

The handling of the Hawks was underwhelming.

This () among other Easter eggs for characters that would never appear, like Green Lantern. Additionally, Booster Gold not appearing or having any mention, despite Legends of Tomorrow having the perfect setup to introduce him.

Most of this is due to creative limitations - not having permission to use certain characters sticks out the most - but when it comes down to things that the showrunners had control over, like (bad) writing, it stings even more.

The one thing I'd give Legends flak for is that thanks to cast members wanting out and stuff not working basically every season cliffhanger was almost instantly ignored or otherwise resolved immediately by the first episode and the rest of the season proceeded to ignore it.

Haven't watched CW since the end of Flash season 1. Isn't Jonah Hex in one of these shows though? How was he? Any other decently obscure non-cape characters in these shows?

He was cool for an episode and then they really dragged him out, same with Constantine

she's going to be in the Katy Keene musical spinoff

Most of the villains. Anarky and Savitar are the worst of the lot.

That's just more insult to injury imo. Josie & The Pussycats should have been the obvious spin off.

The biggest would probably be anything that was affected by the stupid ass embargo rules. Especially the casting of Brandon Routh as Ray instead of Ted Kord when he was clearly meant to be Ted. As well as them not being able to use Booster Gold in LEGENDS for similar reasons.

Suicide Squad/Deathstroke being dropped out of nowhere due to the movie.

No proper Rogues team-up in THE FLASH. As well as Captain Cold turning anti-hero way too fast.

Firestorm gradually fucking off as a character all together as each actor bails/is written off.

The aforementioned lack of team-ups with other DC characters in LEGENDS.

Any time they try to make a cute little nod to a character that they are clearly never going to be able to use. Namely Ted Kord and Hal Jordan.

Oh for real? They bringing The Pussycats back too or are they just in limbo?

>Robbery on the cornor of Perez and Wolfman
>Its next to Jim Lee Boulevard
>wink

While I like Ray I really don't like the budget Iron Man suit.

A common problem for these shows in regards to characters is a lot characters feel like a different version of something else instead of the character they're adapting or were actually supposed to be someone else initially

Does Stargirl have braces in this show?

They had to rewrite S2 of Legends on the fly because the supposed main JSA character (Rex Tyler), who was already cast, got other plans. It's surprised the season still ended up so good.

I can't tell who anybody except Stargirl is supposed to be. The shitty costuming on these shows killed it for me, show some bright colors goddammit.

That transformer super >heroine, it's pretty much an oxymoron.

Everything about Vixen

Which is sad, because he's only been in two episodes so far.

It still doesn't excuse killing off the majority of the team and then not even trying to include the greater DCU anymore.

At least we're getting a decent Stargirl/JSA series soon, right?

It would be the first decent Stargirl anything if it was.

So many.
>Doomsday
>Smallville Season 11 as a comic and not live action
>Green Arrow both in Arrow and Smallville
>Huntress
>Deathstroke
>Suicide Squad
>Checkmate/ Argus
>Killing Dinah Lance and making OC Science girl the Mrs. Queen.
>Speedy
>Arsenal
>Every. Single. Flash Rogue (except Reverse Flash and Capt. Cold).
>Flashpoint
>Kid Flash
>Every Season of Legends of Tommorow isn't rotating the cast for a different set of d or c list characters
>Constantine
>Supergirl
>Superman in Supergirl
>Martian Manhunter
>Doomsday pt 2
>Crises on Infinite Earths
>Black Lightning being too racial
>Batwoman being too Feminist
>Every one of these is a copy of Batman down to having it's own Alfred/ Lucious Fox

I forgot about Riverdale but you get the jist

>Green Arrow both in Arrow and Smallville
>Deathstroke
>Suicide Squad
>Speedy
>Arsenal
>Every. Single. Flash Rogue (except Reverse Flash and Capt. Cold).
>Every Season of Legends of Tommorow isn't rotating the cast for a different set of d or c list characters
>Constantine
>Supergirl
>Superman in Supergirl
>Martian Manhunter
>Crises on Infinite Earths
How can one man be this wrong?

>Batwoman being too Feminist
It isn't even out yet.

A lot of those characters are done poorly or don't have the gravitas that they have in the comics. Specifically the sidekicks and the Rogues.
I stand by what I said about Legends and hate this sssoy beebo filled crap that its become. At the point when they dropped Rip Hinter for literally who brochick the show lost all hope
Supergirl just isn't fun or interesting. The only time people tune in is for the appearence of other Superman characters like Lex and Superman but like in the first point these characters are pushed to the side like Martian Manhunter.
Speaking of Manhunter he and Reverse Flash have the problem of good looking actors which ends up breaking the lore of the show (RF) or the comics (MM)
Crises on Infinite Earths? Try 4.
Batwoman may not be out yet but neither is my shit and I don't need to see it to know it's gonna be nasty.

Rory, Ray and sometimes Nick are the only reasons left to watch the show. It used to be self-aware in its campiness. Now it is self congratulatory in its "inclusiveness". Rip Hunter just sort of took off into nowhere despite the Waverider being his command. Sarah's character is now a hollow shipping disaster who's every action revolves around their new significant other, which is totally out of touch with the characterization from previous seasons. When you start to miss Jax (a decent characer, but the weakest of the season 1 crew) things are getting bad.

The fact that it didn't die immediately after starting

Bruh I just can't look away from this show. It's terrible schlock of the highest order that it loops back to being entertaining again
>Teaser of Archie, Veronica, and Better standing bloodsoaked in their underwear in the wood burning Jughead's beanie and claiming secrecy till their graves

>somehow it was a good idea to have a bunch of shirtless 15-17 year olds to flex in front of a camera in a dark garage.
Somewhere a fake Ms Grundy has an orgasm while the black hood slaps his forehead in disbelief

Are we getting the S.T.R.I.P.E as well? He always interested me but I never liked Stargirl

Luke Wilson's been cast as him

>>Smallville Season 11 as a comic and not live action
Yeah, but it meant you get Batman and Wonder Woman in Smallville.

Originally the guy who that played Atom was supposed to be Ted Kord, which explain why he was a ceo in season 3.

Dude.

This looks like a gay orgy that is about to go down.

>Speaking of Manhunter he and Reverse Flash have the problem of good looking actors which ends up breaking the lore of the show (RF) or the comics (MM)

wut

>When you start to miss Jax (a decent characer, but the weakest of the season 1 crew) things are getting bad.
Yes, but Ronnie was wayy better developed and it should had been him in LoT instead
