-buy the new Super Sons YA graphic novel series

Super-Sons was one of the best things DC has published for quite some time. Bendis' first act as runner for Superman is to ship Jon Kent off into space and age him up so that we can't have any more Super-Sons until he leaves and we get a retcon.

I thought Amazo was a boring story; I liked a lot of Jon's and Damian's interactions by and large, but Kid Amazo was boring so bringing him back for the last arc was even worse, especially because by then, especially after the gains from Super Sons of Tomorrow and from the Super Sons annual, they went back to an annoying relationship overlay to their team up. Planet of the Capes was also far superior (pic related).

Super Sons for Tomorrow was the peak for me, but I think the entirety of Rex, Joker Junior, etc. is even worse than Plot Induced Stupidity because it's just a lot of plot contrivances that are nonsensical and don't even lead to any good humor or good character beats, the Superboy Red and Superboy Blue was done better in the Justice League Action episode for example and Tomasi really didn't do much with it, especially in just resolving it without explanation (again plot contrivance without logic).

It's just sadly lazy and nowhere near as good as the Superman self-title rebirth run at it's best.
